Mariku shook Bakura slightly, but it was no use. He was completely unconscious. Instead, he shook Rei, seeing that she moved. "Hey, Rei." He set Bakura back down on the ground.

"Bakura just woke up. I think he's mental, but he wanted me to tell you something." Mariku said, his brow furrowing slightly. "That the 'kid him' misses you and wanted to say goodbye. I've got no idea what that means."

Rei was silent for a moment thinking. When it dawned on her what in ment she fought back tears. Shegave bakura a small kiss on the cheak beforelaying beside him.

"Riiight." Mariku decided that this was probably some personal matter he didn't want to get into. He leaned backwards, deciding to watch them now, make sure Bakura didn't get up and decide to prance back to the palace. Akhenaden was surprised when he learned what the pharaoh just planned. Though he knew he was going to have to be more careful about using the Millennium Rod, he still used his Millennium Eye freely. The pharaoh was going to send Seto away? This was wonderful. It would be much easier to deal with his son if he was farther away. All he had to do now was make sure the pharaoh kept his word and that Seto didn't get the Millennium Rod again.

Akhenaden slipped the Millennium Rod into his sleeve; he decided that the safest place it could be was on him. If he left it in his room, some cleaning servant could find it accidentally. Plus, it was a good weapon. He decided to go to the pharaoh's room and make sure he was sound asleep, and then go pay a visit to his son.

Nanu hadwoke up a bit after. She rubbed her eyesand stood. Up. sheexited the room desiding she needed a drink.

Akhenaden had peeked in on the pharaoh just a little bit earlier, and found him asleep with his little whore. He had taken only a few steps when he heard the door open again, and turned around quickly. It was only the whore. He stood still, trying to remember if she had seen or believed that he was involved with the attacks. He knew that Seto and Ayira were aware, but he couldn't remember anything about this girl. He decided to figure out what she thought. Which is why he bowed slightly. "Ah, good evening." he said, forgetting her name completely.

"Very, very well." Akhenaden said, with a creepy lonely old-man smile. "And you?" One of his hands withdrew into its sleeve, as he kept a firm hold on the Millennium Rod.

Akhenaden walked along the hallway, realizing that she had been headed to the kitchen. "It's a good thing the pharaoh is better now, yes? We can't have someone manipulating out leader." Akhenaden said conversationally, which was a mistake. It hadn't been that long ago since they fixed him, and Mahado and Seto wanted to keeps things quiet about it, so as not to cause a panic.

Akhenaden hesitated. Had he been thinking straight, he might have pointed out his Millennium Eye and told her of its powers to read minds. However, he wasn't thinking straight, not then at least. In a swift motion, he pulled the Millennium Rod out of his sleeve, and then the hidden dagger from its sheath. He grabbed Nanu's arm with a strength you wouldn't expect from an old man, and then pinned her against the wall, holding the Millennium Rod up, pressing it against her throat. "How, indeed?"
[Ooh, ooh, I thought of an idea! What if Akhenaden does this threatening thing, Nanu gets away (of course) and then Atem kicks him out or has him killed or whatever. And since Nanu already is missing an eye, she gets the Millennium Eye and becomes a priestess?]
