"I won!" he started to dance and hop around at his first victory. "Woo woo woo! Wo... Tenshi?" he knelt down beside his comrade to find that he weren't responding to his name or slaps to his face. "Oh man, oh man, oh man! I wanted to win but not this badly! Where is that wood guy? WOOD-SAN?! WOOOOD-SAAAAAAN?!" his head started looking at every direction, trying to find either Wood-san or any adult really. "I didn't mean to kill you Tenshi!" he shouted while shaking him by his collar up and down.

Ryooshi was somewhat startled by the boy's answer. In his mind, he seemed to have had the conception that the Estoqueur clan was one of Swashbucklers and swordsmen. He would never have guessed the first thing Swift would have wanted to learn would be delicate jutsus of the mind. "Oh, Genjutsu..." answered the puppet, letting his surprise show if only slightly.
After a short pause, he resumed, "I would say you probably have the worst teacher here to learn these sorts of techniques; but some of us, namely Mokujin over there, are very adept at one aspect of genjutsu: delicate chakra control". Moving to a shelf in the back of a room nearby, Mokujin pulled out a book and politely handed it to the young Estoqueur. "Here, in this book you will find the twelve hand seals, practice them and come back to me when you believe you have learned them properly. We will carry on from there.". Once this was done, Ryooshi walked to the teacher's desk, sat down and stayed there, staring at the wall behind Swift.
Training: Hand Seals d20 + int mod DC: 10 12/12 (One succesful post for every hand seal)----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mokujin remained focused on his two fights that seemed to be going fairly well. Both of his students were showing him interesting things, both as talents and as things to improve in their styles.
Training Dummy
 Hp : 14 Puppet Attack (Controlled) : 2 Dodge (Controlled): 10 Damage (Controlled): (1-3)
After its two fisted attack had connected, the dummy seemed to be the target of a stomach kick from his opponent. Mokujin had no trouble simply shifting the puppet's weight back a bit to move out of the attack's reach. In the same movement, Mokujin used the puppet's rotation to send one of its legs flying at the girl's back.
d20 [3] + Attack Puppet [2] = 5 (miss)---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hokaboku slightly panicked after he noticed that one of his students had nearly killed the other out of boredom since they had finished their training.
"Keiko-kun! Be more careful man! You have to learn how to hold back when training with your partners!", Hokaboku said with a firm tone, scolding the young student. He took a few moments to examine Tenten to make sure he was ok. He tilted the kid's head left and right to make sure there weren't any deep contusions and made sure his pulse was stable.
After a few moments Hokaboku stood up, took the Fubuki kid on his shoulder and adressed his young sparring partner, "Okay, he'll be alright, he's just lazing around a bit. You come outside with me, the three of us are going to train on some more specific techniques."

"Oh that is great! Killing a friend on the first day would totally blow. Like alot!" he continued to listen to his sensei's talking before following him to wherever he were leading him. "Specific training? Sounds like fun, Wood-sensei! I am so pumped about this ninja stuff, you know? Like I wanna learn how to fly and stuff, would be cool!" he continued his daydreaming in his mind.

"Hai Ryooshi-senpai" Swift replied walking a ways to a nearby desk and sat down to begin reading the book. Swift carefully opened the front cover of the rather old seeming book. "Lets see...page one." Swift thought as he read the first page of the book:
Chapter One: Hand seals

Once he and both of his students were outside, Hokaboku dropped the slowly waking Tenshi to the ground and started to explain what would be the nature of their next exercise. "Okay guys, now that you've both learned the basics of chakra molding, it's time you learned a jutsu. We'll start with a few basic ones, this training will test your awareness, chakra molding skills and reflexes. One after the other, one of you will hide and will try to use the cloak of invisibility technique to hide. Basically, what you do is try to cover yourself in a blanket of your own chakra and tweek it to look like the surface you're hiding aginst.", explained the wooden sensei.
To hide Roll two dices: 1. d20 + ninjutsu, DC: 10, if succesful, add 3 to your next roll. 2. d20 + stealth (+3 if you passed your chakra molding check).
After a brief demonstration of the cloak of invisibility technique, Hokaboku carried on with his instructions: "After about 20 seconds, the other will come looking for you, and try to spot your position."
To find d20 + awareness, DC: (number of the total of the hiding shinobi's 2nd roll)
"Then, two things can happen.", explained the sensei. "If the hunter cannot find the prey, the hiding player needs to attack the hunter without him realizing it before it's too late. The same must be done if the hunter finds the prey because his camouflage was insufficient."
To attack Regular attack roll.
"However, all is not lost if you are attacked. You have one last chance to turn things around. If you were taken by surprise and attacked, you have one last chance to save yourself. You must use the Kawarimi jutsu.", said Hokaboku, getiing into position. Looking at both students, he threw a kunai straight up in the air and started moving around to stand right under it as it made its way back down. Very swiftly, the kunai headed back towards Hokaboku faster and faster until it apparently planted right in his eyes. However, a second later, Hokaboku apparently transformed into a log and reappeared in the tree right behind his students.
"As you see, you must find another use for your chakra. Use it to increase your speed and again create an illusion with a sort of chakra cloak to make the other believe you've been hit and use this opportunity to stealthily move away from the danger. If any of you would like to become puppet masters one day this could prove extremely useful.".
To succesfully switch d20 + ninjutsu vs opponent's attack roll If you had been spotted or if you had failed to spot: -3 to your kawarimi roll.
"The loser of each sequence will either be the one who managed to hit the other, or the one who managed to succesfully switch before getting hit. Do this five times, the winner gets a little something special from his sensei in addition to having learned two of the five techniques you'll need to graduate form the academy."

Tenshi came to and woke up to the wooden puppet, which startled him. "Ah! Oh, sorry Hokaboku sensei..." Luckily he came to soon enough to here the important part of the next lesson. "So basically the ninja version of hide and seek... Sounds easy enough... Hopefully I don't end up unconscious again, because.... man that really hurt!" He rubbed the back of his neck and turned it as it popped. "That actually felt good regardless of how bad that sounded." I can't lose to this! I will learn these jutsu, and I will beat this hyperactive ninja!!! He held a fist in front of him as if pumping himself up, "Let's do it!...Owww......" he held his forehead in pain from yelling too loud.

Gwyn dodged out to the way of the incoming attack with simply agility. She was in the position again to make the next move so Gwyn decided to take her time and think it through. She wanted to end this in as few blows as possible because stretching out a fight was not her strong suit. Unfortunately Gwyn didn't see any other way to go about doing this fight other than trading blow for blow and hoping she ended up the winner. So Gwyn clenched her fist and ran in towards the dummy with the goal of delivering another good blow to the target. As she rushed she took note of her surroundings. Tenshi had been making a lot of progress sense he had gotten back from lunch, much more than she had anyways. He had finished his pre-lunch chakra molding and a spar, and was beginning work on a jutsu. Gwyn wished she had held off a bit and had been his sparring partner, but at the same time she was glad she wasn't. He had been one of her first friends and she wasn't sure if she could truly fight him with the same force that she was fighting the dummy. Time for thought was over though, the dummy was right if front of her. Holding nothing back Gwyn piston sledged her fist forwards hoping to make contact with the training drone.

Mokujin noticed that fatigue was starting to set in for his young student. Her once fancy and elaborate attacks were starting to lose some of their finesse as the fight progressed. He'd keep this going for an attack or two but he'd let her get some rest in a few moments.
Training Dummy
 Hp : 14 Puppet Attack (Controlled) : 2 Dodge (Controlled): 10 Damage (Controlled): (1-3)
With great ease, the puppet moved out of the way of the attack. Not only had this attack been way off but it also let Gwyn very vulnerable for a counterattack. Knowing that fatigue was setting in, Mokujin hesitated to launch an attack in these circumstances but he felt he would not be a good teacher if he did not teach her to keep her guard up. So, he flicked his index finger and the puppet launched a knee blow against its opponents failed motion.

Would this fight ever end? It seemed neither her nor the puppet had connected on any attacks in quite a long while, and she could feel the strain of the battle setting in. She still had plenty of fight in her though and would see this one through to the end, she had gone to long to do anything other then that. Gwyn felt the knee incoming again and decided to get a bit tricky with her attacks.Gwyn met the knee with her hand and pushed the attack away, on a normal person this would have most likely set them off balance, though with a puppet Gwyn was unsure of how it would effect it, most likely in no way other than making sure the attack didn't connect. After the dodge was said and done Gwyn spiraled around, attempting to kick the puppet in its ever so allusive target. If this form of physical assault failed to work this time she would attempt to gain some distance and try some ranged attacks against the automaton.

Swift turned the page to the next page and looked intently at the information printed on it.
Page One: Bird
The bird handseal is a very delicate and the least complex of all 12 handseals. The Bird handseal controls wind chakra and is used to mold wind chakra to form wind techniques. To form the bird seal simply place the pointer fingers, pinkies, and thumbs together while forming the rest of your fingers inward and down. This might be tricky for first timers and it may cause finger fatigue and pain for the first couple of times. Practice makes perfect, good luck ninja.
"This seems simple enough" Swift thought as he looked at the diagrams the book provided. "So....pointers...and pinkies...and thumbs" Swift said as he moved his fingers slowly into place as he followed the instructions precisely "And there we have a bird....success" Swift thought as he formed a near mirror image of the final image on the page. Swifts fingers soon began to ache at the akward finger positioning. "maybe i should move to the next one" Swift thought as he relaxed his fingers from the seal and turned the page

Swift delicately turned the page of the old book. This one seemed to have tears and holes from what seemed to be the frustration of the readers before Swift.
Page Two: The Boar
The Boar handseal is a very brutish but simple hand seal to perform. To form the boar seal simply place your hands together as if pushing in an offensive push in a kung-fu like manner forcing the thumbs to point downward and your fingers to aline with each other and turning the wrists downward.
Swift seemed perplexed by the description provided by the book at first then he examined the diagram and soon decided to ignore the confusing and unhelpful instructions."So, move this here..and that...there" Swift stated as he moved his individual fingers into place and successfully formed the boar seal "There we go!" Swift exclaimed as he held the seal for a minuted then let his hands relax only to turn the page.

Keon who was still watching fights noticed one was over and he people who participated were about to start training. As he followed them going over to ask over to ask to join he heard the rules from the teacher and guessed it was a form of hide and seek as one of the students confirmed by saying so when he reached them. When the teacher was done talking Keon made himself known by asking if it was alright to join. "Hello My name is Keon Kamori and I was wondering if you guys would mind if I joined you." Keon stood waiting a response as he stood next to students in front of the sensei.
