Dai notices that the clock struck & he stood up & went to start to cook some food. He made some eggs & started to work on a leg of lamb.

"Hm?" Dai turned around & saw Morgan, "Oh! Nothing much, but can you pass the pepper right there please? Thanks!" Politely asks and points to the lone pepper grinder next to her. He looks around for anything else he might need to put on the lamb before hitting the oven. "Wow, these elfs are really nice. I don't normally get help like this." He thinks, & then smiles.

Sam smiles. "Sorting is super soon. In a few weeks. Maybe you can get your posts and weeks in soon enough to be sorted instead of waiting a whole another term. That'd certainly suck if that happened."

Morgan hands Dai the pepper and sees that they are low on tea so she starts to make some more. "Soooo...How has every ones day been so far?" She asks as she starts to stir the tea. ninja

Katie reenters the kitchen for a snack before long hours of preparations in the common room. She is rocking out the her new muggle invention, the iPOD. She dances into the kitchen, and then realizes that there are more than just house elves in there. "Oh....... I don't suppose any of you saw that?" she says, rubbing the back of her neck and casting her eyes down. "Morgan, could you direct me to where I can get some pop corn?"

Dai smiles & thanks morgan again. Dai nodds as he hears that the sorting is in a few weeks. He puts the leg of lamb into the oven. He washes his hands & starts to work on another meal. "I hope they like my cooking!" He said to himself.

Dei walks into the kitchen to find something to sooth her rumbling tummy. As she enters the scent of cooking lamb tantalizes her senses, earning a loud roar from her belly.

Dai notices her growling tummy. "The lamb is almost finished. I can get you a plate if you like." He said, smiling. He washed his hands & took out some oven mitts.
