*Luke thinks - that's ridiculous, there's no way he was...- He even opens his mouth to start to say it.*
*Through some miracle, Luke is able to restrain himself. Maybe it's the fact that it's a couple days until Christmas, who knows, stranger things have happened.*
*People believed in all sorts of things throughout their lives...Santa, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, Bigfoot, Nessy... Not to mention all sorts of "Gods" throughout history. What kind of d**k takes that from somebody when it's not hurting anything?*
Well this... *Luke holds up the comic book* Is all the proof that we have of his existence. But.... *He tosses it back to her, grinning a little.* That's why it's called a mystery, right? We'll never really know.

*Appearing preoccupied as she faded in, Clare's hand swept over a space of air in front of her. Her pointer finger moving to press in the imaginary button. Her digit instead colliding with air and eventually part of a chair as the elevator was no longer there.* "Guess I won't be going down..."

Tac slowly faded in wearing dress pants and a white undershirt, soaked through and through. Water ran down his body and he slowly leaned forward, as if in a comatose state, and fell into a table, flipping it to its side and crashing into the floor. He made no movements and seemed to be completely zombified, laying in a pool of water shed from his own body and clothing. He was definately breathing, as was evident by the bubbles and gurgling, but he seemed completely unaware of his surroundings, though in truth he knew exactly where he was.

Tacitus pushed himself off the ground after what would have been a very long time, if there was time, but the meaning still remains. He groans slightly as he pulls himself to his feet, his senses slowly returning to him, along with a nice dose of pain and freezing cold. With a slight groan he pulls his shirt off as he stands up all the way, water still puddling around him, but not as much. He stood for a moment, wring his shirt out, before heading over to grab his key and trudge the path to his room.

Tac slowly wandered into the main room, not really watching where he was going, but miracurasly, for once, not tripping over any chairs. He stumbles around and lands himself in a chair, staring up towards the ceiling.

Tac doesn't make any responce at first, taking a while to even notice her at all. Even when he does take notice of her it's not more than a half-a** wave hello in her general direction.

Tac takes a moment to stare up into the darkness and then turns his gaze to Nyx, "Um...not much it seems...lots of dark stuff and air and stuff..." He Gave a brief smile before continuing seriously, "Seriously though, not much. Just your normal everyday assassination attempts while having dinner with a woman from the next millenium. You know, normal stuff."

Tac rubbed the back of his neck for a moment, pulling it away and staring at it as he spoke, "Physically I'm fine by now, but I can't stop thinking about Ikibe.... and more importantly, Cora. I felt her leave my timeline completely, so I assumed she came here... I can only hope she came here.... I wasn't concentrating all that much on her at the time. The whole danger of being eviscerated kinda pulled itself to the front of my mind there. That and the fact I was pretty sure she'd be safe..." He laid his head down on the table for a moment before lifting up and proceeding to bang his head against it...quite hard.
