Well of course that's gonna be hard; Alice in Wonderland & Through the Looking Glass are just acid trips... ._.
Um... I suppose... *thinking really hard now* "The imagination can be a dangerous place"...?

What's the rubric/outline/whatever you call it in your class for the essay?

There's a huge list of other stories he wrote in the introduction to Alice, I thought... well, in mine anyway.
Lewis Carroll had a whole Alice series.. then again you don't have a copy of them.
Jeez... o.o

That sucks... Dx They're ACID TRIPS, there's no seriousness involved. The theme is superimposed, it wasn't written into the book like it is with say Heart of Darkness.
*thinks of theme again* Through the Looking Glass' theme... DAMMIT. "Imagination is a dangerous place" "Sometimes to go forward one must go back" that's only one part of the book. "With the right opportunity and a little effort one can become a Queen"
... THIS BOOK REALLY HAS NO SPECIFIC THEME. D<
You should tell the teacher that when you turn it in, whatever theme you use in the essay. "I had some trouble because acid trips usually don't have a theme."
