After Faye had finished helping set up the common area. She had set off along the beach towards the water. She splashed into the water and once she was deep enough in she dived under. With no tourist around and the beach basically empty. I can presume that I can try my experiment here. I mean, boss didn't tell me I couldn't!, She thought as she started to do backstrokes parallel to the shore.

Kydre finished helping set up and found a nice clear spot to lay her towel out. She dropped her shorts and went to the water where she happily walked in up to her waist. Yay! My lovely H2O how I have missed thee! She dived under and started searching the bottom for pretty shells.

Luciano sat in the quiet lighthouse writing. Next week his Editorial was due, and he was about to make a big finish:
". . . and their sound reminded me of a mixture between nails on a chalk board and a train making a sudden hault on rusty tracks; making an alarming screeching sound. These guys claim to be a Goth/Industrial/Synth-tech/Rock band? I call them lazy amatuers trying to catch their first break. If you ask me, and I know you didn't but it's not like I care at all, I say they should have stayed in the basement they came from. . ."
All the while Luciano was writing, a presence he knew was in the room with him. It spoke to him coldly, ". . . This scene looks so familiar, Luciano. . ." Luciano spun around and looked up to see who it was, then he sighed and then calmly turned his back to him, "Oh. It's just you. . . Anyway, say what you're going to say then get out, Miguel." he said. "Hm." Miguel hopped off of the balcony leading from the second floor of the lighthouse- where the light was located. He walked over towards Luciano, ". . This takes me back to our childhood. . you were always sitting away from everyone else. So anti-social. So. . . pitiful. Even back then you made me sick."
Luciano haulted his pen and then he looked over at him, "You finished yet?" he was very disinterested in his foster brother's nonsense. For his information, Luciano never hid away from people. In fact, he was a very social boy despite losing his parents. He had a pretty happy childhood. And the whole reason he hid away from everyone else was he couldn't stand Miguel constantly trying to upstage him. . and he couldn't stand watching Miguel being made fun of.
Miguel scoffed then he walked to Luciano's right to look out the window, in the distance he could see Luciano's friends doing their own thing on the beach. The moment he saw Shade down there, he gave an evil smile then he turned his head slightly to talk to Luciano, "Shade told you I ******** her? Is that why you're up here?"
Luciano paused a moment, he looked over at Miguel again and then he stood up. He folded his arms and then suddenly he started laughing hysterically.

Pen not quite sleep but surely not awake listened to the repetition of waves crashing on the shore. The laughter of her team and the playful splashes in the water relaxed every muscle in her body. This has been the most serene she had been weeks.

Soon her thoughts fell back to her lone visit when her bike was completely finished. Though she looked out to the same sky she never felt that relaxed then.

I wonder if its everyone's presence is the difference. Now with a slight smile on her face Pen became lost in her own dreams, drifting way from everyone else.

Faye had swum out quite far now and was starting the next stage in her experiment. Gather up energy, by swimming back and forth was the first step. The second was to concentrate this new found physical energy into magical energy. Gathering it up she focused on combining the energy and the water into her hand. After a brief, but great flash of light her eyes cleared enough to see. She saw that in her hands was a piece of cloth, this cloth appeared to shift and move like clear water in the Caribbean. She smiled, "Fusion and creation arts in one. The power of the water in a cloth form, I'm amazing!" She said and then started to swim back to the shore. I'll need to rest after this, but first some food.

Waffle was still chasing gulls around until she saw the flash of light out in the distance. She stood in place with a slack-jawed expression as she wondered exactly what it was.

Kydre felt a surge of magical energy and came up to the surface. She looked around wondering where it had come from. She could feel the magic hanging in the air like a mist. It confused, irritated, and perplexed her all at the same time. There was a taste of water magic in it and she didn't know if she liked that or not. She looked at the shells she had collected and then back towards where she felt the magic. She shrugged and went back to her towel where she sat down to inspect her new treasures.

Faye walked over to the common area, where she had left her stuff. Placing her new cloth on the table. She got out her towel from her shoulder bag and began to dry off. She hoped that no one minded her experiment, its been her most recent and to her most important. Now dry she pick up the cloth, it was cool in her hands and silky to the touch, but it radiated power. She held it with one hand as she got out some chips, she was so hungry.

Luciano laughed hysterically at Miguel, who was becoming more angry by the second, "What the ******** is so funny?!" Miguel shouted. Luciano stopped laughing for a moment and then he said, "Shade was using you!! You didn't do ANYTHING to her! If anything, she was dominating you- You had no hand in it! You were just her toy, Miguel!" then he continued to laugh.
Miguel growled and then he took out his revolver and pointed it at Luciano "You shut up. . Shade didn't use me, I used her. I showed her what a real man was. She loved ever minute of it." he said, even trying to make himself believe it.
Luciano shook his head and he said, not even hiding his shame for Miguel, "That's not telling a woman that you're a real man. . . it's telling her you're easy to control. You're not a man, Miguel, you're nothing but a boy still. Now Shade knows it. . you're pitiful."

Looking through her shells Kydre discovered a small hermit crab hiding among them. She smiled as she played with him.
She was about to get up and take him back to the ocean when the same magic she felt in the water crawled down her spine making her shiver. There was no denying that it was water magic this time. Looking around this time saw what had caused it. She gasped in alarm. The girl was like a magical magnet and it all seemed to be gathering around something in her hand.
Hmmm. She turned back to her captured friend and picked him up. "Back to the water Mister Crab," she said to him.

Faye stared down at her cloth, she need to control the energy flowing off it or she would have problems. She was think up a solution as she munched on the chips. This is going to be the hard part, She thought. I could ask my 'good' friend for help, but then I risk family involvement. I could take it to the academy, but then again family involvement. She sighed her eyes closing as she thought and then they snapped open with an idea burning bright in their depth. Lifting her hand over the cloth she focus, trying to gather and put as much energy back into her being. It was hard because her magic had combined with the water's natural energy, thus turning it into something new. She gasp, her face contorting in pain. I can't gather it into my self, she thought desperately and then took several breaths to calm herself. Which means, that this will have to go soon. Great! All that work and nothing to show...at least I know I can do it. I just need to figure out how to contain its energy afterward. Or risk having those snobs in the High Magical Office coming and taking me in for form signing and questions. I can't have that happening...goddess only know what would happen then.

Romulus looked at it. It was freaking huge. It had taken hours to complete.

Romulus' sand castle stood nearly three foot tall. He was happy he had completed it, as it had taken numerous attempts to get even started on it.

He fell backwards in the sand, as his feet kicked up a thought occurred to him. He had to destroy the sand castle. If he didn't, it would almost immediately begin to rot and decay. Maybe it would take a couple of hours, maybe a couple of days, but it would never be as perfect as it was now, and eventually it would be gone anyway. He didn't act, he simply laid there, debating in his mind what would be best for the castle.

Skotti cooked burgers on the fire while the shade read a magazine. She looked over at skotti "Hope everybody comes around later to hang out, they all seem to have gone their separate ways" she said.

Pen began to stir when she smelt beef cooking. her stomach began to protest and she awoke as easily as she fell.

She stretched and gathered her shirt and grabbed her towel. She marched toward the smell seeing the Boss was the cook in responsible. With a sigh she plopped beside the Shade and looked over to the cooking meat.

"That smells good." She chuckled tilting her head to one side.

"They will be done in a little bit, why don't you two go around to grab everybody for lunch." asked skotti.
"Sure thing, Dark" said the shade, heading to the lighthouse, the strings on her bikini bouncing as she walked.
