@ Pen: That's what I thought, Pen. I don't visit often, so I wouldn't know. >.>
@ Aly: You should be alright then, as people might pick up on the RP through the first 5 or so pages and then sputter out.

To love. To be loved. To never forget your own insignificance. To never get used to the unspeakable violence and the vulgar disparity of life around you.To seek joy in the saddest places. To pursue beauty to its lair. Thanks Waffle, I'm glad for the insight. I know that confidence wise I shouldn't be overly hopeful, but as Pen said things run differently in her guild.
To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

I like to think it as laid back and going at a slow pace. Its take your time kinda attitude. So it takes awhile for anything to really get going. But give it time and it will get there.

I personally like the environment in the Republic- The setting of the RP, though, might be WAY different than what I'm imagining. See, back in England (my home away from home lol) there is this town called "Edale"- It's located within Derbyshire- but this little place had the most BEAUTIFUL scenery EVER! The grass was so green, there were lots of hills in the backround- There was one hill in particular that I fell in love with. This Hill had this cross on it- Nature made! I have a photograph of it, but my scanner is being a bit of a ******** right now.
Lol But anyway, that's how I'm imagining 'The Elven Republic' to be!- And the pub, I'm imagining the friendly atmosphere to be something like this Pub in Nottingham that I would frequent when I would be visiting one of my uncles. It's located not too far from the castle, the place is called. . . Something 'Jerusalem'- I don't remember the exact name of it, but I remember they had THE BEST coffee there.

Well your not far off Styk. Actually you probably hit the nail on the head. I can't seem to think where you are off really.
I really like it too. I never went overseas but I sure do love seeing pictures or shows about places over there.

Hey, maybe when you can you could convince your school to do some art thing overseas?- Like, explore the world of art in a different country! lol England is a wonderful place, especially in the fall! Though, I feel really bad for the American tourists lol Because some of the accents over there are SO thick that not even my mother could understand some of them. Like, the Cockney accent- See, they don't always say their "T's", and once in a while they don't include the "D's" either lol. I think you'd also like the food there, too! The Pizza over there is way better than the Pizza over here (for obvious reasons lol).

We actually do have an Italy trip. But money is an issue at the moment. I'm happy just to go to the Animation Festival in Ottwa. Which I have to say the city is beautiful. I want to move across the lake now! I can deal with cold.
If I had money I would be so on that plane to Venice. To study the artwork and structures not to mention the cuisine. Someday and I know I will, I'll go over. There are also a few animation studios over there. I just might not come back.

Awwww! Well that really bites! I wish you could go!
Y'know, I think it's ******** hilarious how there was a trip to Europe planned at my old High School. . . Lol AFTER I graduated!! XD- Like, the year after I graduated I caught wind of the school planning the trip! And I was like, "Those sons of- LUCKY!!" I heard they stopped over in Italy. I was very jealous.

I kind of forgot how to speak some German- Probably because I had nobody to speak German to. My Russian is alright, but the accent doesn't sound as it's supposed to when it comes to some words and phrases.

At my old High School before transferring to the High School I graduated from (transferred my Junior year because I desperately needed a change of scenery- funny how I met Alison that same year lol). Originally, though, I began learning in Eighth grade because a girl I was dating at the time was from Russia (St. Petersberg, I believe). So, she taught me some and I was being tutored by my brother's friend!

To pursue beauty to its lair. I don't know what to post in the main. Whether to just jump to the next day or walk up to the building and blah, blah. Oh well... As for High School get a way's, my school also went to Italy. Though I didn't go, since one I didn't have the money and two I had lost my passport. So no trip for me! To never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple. To respect strength, never power. Above all, to watch. To try and understand. To never look away. And never, never, to forget.

*crawls in*
Mmm, my high school was supposed to have a trip to Europe this summer. I think it was canceled because not enough people could pay in time.
As for the main RP, I think I'm gonna need some help cuz I'm a n00bie here. xD
