Congrats on getting the nano-C. I haven't seen a swamp orb for a long time. It goes perfectly with that avi.

Whew clearing a fence row. Hard work. I hope you have good tools to help you with such a big tsk.

I think I need to switch from hand tools to something electric. Something with major power *makes some grunting sounds like Tim the Toolman Taylor from Home Improvement* lol

Thx, Harvey I only use Swamp Orb occasionally anymore it just is a hard item for me to pair up in an avi for some reason.

^8^ Yeah, we had a branch clipper and a Rake and a very sturdy hoe the old kind with 2 prongs on the back people used to grab things with.

It wasnt to bad, me and my Dad and we managed to get half of it done that day and hope to do more after the new bout of Rain lets up thats comming soon. ^8^

You might need some power tools there Harvey. Also More Power thats what you need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Muwahahahahahahaha ^8^

@ blixztml - welcome. I like your shirt with the toothy grin biggrin

@ giesta - isn't it great to have some rain so we have a forced break from our labours? You're lucky your dad helps with the fence clearing. It's nice to have company. Sometimes I stop and just listen to the sounds of birds and frogs and bees. I'm so glad it's finally summer.

Yup I think a lot of people don't know what to do with the swamp orbs. That's why it's amazing you made such good use of one. I have all of them but I have yet to figure out a good use.

Also, THX God for Rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in makes work managable when you need a rest inbetween. ^8^

I did have a Fire and also a Forest at one time but I got rid of them because I couldnt find any really good uses for them. Thx Harvey.

That's so cool you have the sound of horses. I like those. Cows and goats too. But sadly there aren't any of those here.

I don't have water nearby either. I have a 30 gallon storage container from Walmart. I let it fill with rain water. The frogs lay their eggs in there. So do the mosquitoes. Which is good. The tadpoles love to eat the mosquito larvae. It's kinda fun to watch. It's the circle of life.

When the frogs grow up they eat the crickets and grasshoppers and other bugs. It's all part of my organic garden. If I come across some water lilies I might add those to my home made (kinda ugly) above ground plastic pond.

Our Neightbor down the road has cows, and we used to have goats but sadly they died of illness and or "Unamed Evil Person" doing things.

Yup, those frog Tadpols love Mosg. larve and it is fun to watch them eat them, the Tadpol is so small its hard to see how its mouth opens to eat. ^8^

3nodding I admit frogs are a good pest deterant for a garden and are fun to watch if you have any that are right in the middle of your Garden. 3nodding

That's so cool that you had your own goats. I bet they'd make fast work of clearing the fence row. I had a friend who made extra money by renting out her goat to eat kudzu. Do you have any of that where you are?

Ewww how awful that someone may have done something bad to your goats. There are some really sick people on this planet earth. Well you know how I feel about animals, right? I mean, respect for animal right to life is a big part of why I'm vegetarian. The other part is health.

Yup, we do have Kudzu but luckily it is only in a very few areas near our town and out in the country where know one lives from what Ive been told.

I do, you love and respect animals much the same way as I do and I do understand your stand on Vegatarianism and I applaud you for being a vegatarian I dont think I could do that, I just dont have the will power to stop eating meat. sweatdrop

Thanks for telling me about Achievements. I don't remember seeing an announcement about it. So I'm glad you told me about it.

It's really easy to find substitutions for meat.

Hot dogs = tofu pups
Hamburgers = Boca burgers (flame broiled, cheeseburger)
Chicken = chicken patties or nuggets (many brands)
Turkey = quorn (nuggets, cutlets, roasts)
Spare ribs = many brands
Bacon = many brands

All the "regular" supermarkets around here carry at least a few tofu meat things.

You might want to try the burgers to see if you like it. Put it on a bun with fixings the way you usually have burgers.

Do you ever grill out? That's the best way to do the tofu pups. They look and taste "real."

Even if I weren't a vegetarian I'd be afraid to eat meat for heart reasons. And also all the e coli recalls.

As far as Tofu sadly there isnt any of that here. sweatdrop

But yes there are many substitues for things, so yes chicken and also baking and grilling things are fairly big here so yes for that as well. 3nodding

Also leaf green veggies as well, (Turnip Greens, Collard Greens, Green Beans, Corn ^8^, and many other country veggies.

I understand about the meat recall fears, me and my family when we get a steak or any meat we have it WELL-DONE and will return it if there is any "Red" to it still inside.

What? No Boca burgers there? *keels over in shock* Seriously? Not even Walmart?

Sorry I wasn't clear. The "chicken patties" by Boca and other brands are made of soy, and taste very much like white meat chicken.

I'm glad you and your family cook the beef really well.

How's the weather there? Here it's been dramatic. Tons of rain. I'm glad I'm on a hill. I bet the creeks are full after two nights of rain and more rain.
