It was a very small,very golden gold fish. The prettiest in the tank at walmart. I also got another goldfish with a black stripe on it's head. It's doing fine, but the golden one has died.

Yeah, scanners are great.~ I'm not good at drawing, either. Having a scanner makes it more fun to practice, though.
Now I wish I just had a better art program. I'm just using gimp, a free crappy program.

Man this is a bad week for fish, a couple of days ago this other girl i knew lost a fish to. Just bad luck man! And blackstripe sounds pretty to me
I know, i feel like the best way to get good at something is surround yourself with people who are better than you, that's why when i was in school i found cartooning a great class for me. And the people who have art forums up are definitely better than me, so it'd be good if i could get a scanner and compare with them and such haha

lol We're like complete opposites. I really dislike art classes. I'm too impatiant for them.

Haha my art class wasn't really directed, it was just sort of do your own thing. And they gave us the equipment to make an animation, i did my usual RP character doing some parkour type actions. It was only 15 seconds long, but i still really liked it! As i said, i like art classes because they're full of proteges, surround yourself with people great, and you'll be forced to rise to the occasion!
@Sakuran: Haha lame i know, but i haven't been clever lately! And hows college life treatin ya/what is your major? I think we're the same age, you just graduated to right?

I would either get too competitive and end up frustrating myself, or not go because I'm lazy. I seriously am lazy. Forgot to mention that. lol Even if I wanted to go, we don't have that kind of class. Not a "do your thing" kind of class. Well, how long did it take to make animations? I always wanted to give it a shot.

lol, good try man. And yea, I just graduated highschool, and just moved into my college dorm last thursday. Been partyin all f'in weekend. Today is my recovery day. And i'm majorin in Elementary Edcuation.

@Poo: Not that long provided you have a light board. And if you don't care about inking. If you don't care bout inking then you could probably do a good ten to twenty second flip within a week, depending on how hard you work on it. Then again, it also depends on how much detail you put in your pictures, since you'll essentially be drawing the same picture over and over again, just slightly different each time
@Sakuran: I think being lame is alright here and there! Haha that's how my brother celebrated me 18th, took me out and got me drunker than i've ever been. That's when i learned i'm one of those people who doesn't black out! Haha when he took me out he said "I don't really care if you're not legal. I just wanted to wait till you were 18, cause then you're an adult, and i can't be held responsible for your actions!"
