We give you beer, at least I do. Don't you like it? I could get you something else. Vodka, rum, scotch, ale, martini, pretty much whatever you want. I'd offer you something a bit more potent, but alcohol is the only substance the duchess allows in her freehold." She sidled over to John and sat down next to him. "Why aren't you looking at me, do you think I'm ugly or something, Or is it that I'm so beautiful you're afraid I'll turn you to stone?" She laughed merrily at her own joke.

He pasted an uneasy laugh at her joke..then looked at the cookies and thought it over..he chose to down them without a drink..he wasnt going to push his luck with anything she had to offer...and with her around drinking was not an option..for safety reasons.."and yes she is my ..gaurdian..but i still don't deserve a title..

"No thanks..."he thought his words carefully and could only come up with "Im not thirsty any how..."and started to eat them..almost instantly regreting his words..finally finishing them..he looked at her..."so ..being here a few days..why havnt i seen you before?"he asked also realising he might not of seen half the people that are really there

((just so all of you know, i do not encourage drinking or anything of the sort, quite the opposite actually, but this character is a satyr, so she will be doing a lot of things that I never would.......like running around almost naked))
