TyKat12 Trina stretched as she walked down the stairs, wearing a loose turtle neck and jeans, looking content. She had slept well without nightmares, and this was always something to be glad for. Walking into the kitchen Trina filled a glass with water, humming softly to herself, a pleasent sound that was strangely calming. Dark eyes watched the water fall from the faucet, as she wondered if anyone was about today. ((Just trying to keep this on the page))

Richard helped her down, hugging her for a moment. Then he pulled away and turned to his two neices. Alyssa was already across the room, looking at the spines of a few books lying around, but Ellen was still standing near them, smiling. "Suppose you want to get cleaned up hm?" Richard asked, still avoiding the obvious topic of loss. It seemed all three of them were. Ellen nodded her head happily. "Yes Uncle...I do." Richard pointed out the bathroom to the two of them, and off they went.
"I'll have to request a second room for them..." He murmured to himself, frost eyes turning to Corinne now. "...Thank you Corinne..." He seemed very worried about something. He was. His nieces needed to be cared for...he would not abandon them. Would she still want to marry him? Richard wasn't sure he could bear it if she would not.

"I still have the key to my room," Corrine said, wrapping her arms around Richard once the girls were gone. "And I can take them out shopping for new clothes if you like."

Richard sighed in both relief and contentment. "I love you." He murmured softly. "So very, very much." He held her close. There was alot he had to do as well. The girl's futures were in his hands. Alyssa was old enough to decide whether or not she wanted to go back, but Ellen was not. He wasn't sure how to bring up the subject with his older niece. Would she want to be Queen? And if not...how could he let Ellen go? She was young and vulnerable. And then...by considering it, he was accepting that his sister was dead. No. He had no proof of that. He didn't want any either.
"Yes...they will need them won't they? Ellen will be happy to hear that, I'm sure." He said.

Corinne nodded before leaning up and kissing Richard. "I love you too," she said sincerely. "Everything will work out, and I'll help anyway I can."

He smiled faintly. Wonderful woman. Ellen burst out of the bathroom before he could respond, wrapped in a towel and with dripping hair. She was beaming. "Look! No more dust Uncle!" She chirped, Alyssa leaving the bathroom too, wearing a t-shirt that was clearly Richard's as it looked huge on her small frame. "I want to go to bed." She announced seriously, blue eyes looking from Corinne to Richard. "Is that alright?" She looked awfully weary for a twelve year old, every bit as exhausted as her sister was energized. Richard blinked once. "...Oh, yes. If that's what you'd like to do Alyssa..." He said slowly, concerned.

Corinne turned from Richard to smile warmly at the girls. "You'll probably want to sleep in here," she said to Alyssa. "Tomorrow I could take you both shopping for new clothes. How does that sound?"

"Great." Alyssa said dispassionately, crawling on Richard's bed and sitting on it, examaining her own hand for whatever reason. Ellen, however, was elated. "Ooh~~~ Really?! I've never gotten to help pick out my own clothes before! Fun!" She hugged herself again, excited.
Richard's eyes were on Alyssa, the slightest of frowns on his lips. He should talk to her. When, he wasn't sure. Elise had gotten a hold of his hand, was tugging on it to get his attention again. He looked down, summoning a smile again and bending so she could mock whisper to him. "Can I call her Aunt Corinne Uncle?" She inquired, blue eyes wide. Richard looked to Corinne in askence.

Corinne smiled brightly and nodded. She was too overjoyed that the girl would think of her as family so soon after meeting her to say anything. Though she was worried about Alyssa, she just didn't know what to do to help the child.

River blinked where was she again? Oh that's right. Letting herself drift like that was indeed foolish to do in a place that could wake up and swallow her into there trouble at any moments notice. Despite the calm musky air there was the smell of other Human that where, to say the least Active in there wake. Though not around for her too see it was easy to smell them and hear there heart beats, Two, three..She might be wrong but possibly a fourth. Blinking again her fingers suddenly activated and started to push on keys to make the sound as beautiful and calm as it was flow from the hunk of metal strings and wood.
