ey, now... i'd not said killing... i'd said fighting... there's a mighty big difference, ey? *his mood seemed to be growing darker* and sometimes, there's no choice... and even when you try, you might not succeed.... *his tone turned more inward, as if he was speaking to himself*

ey, aitrus... i've witnessed the destruction of nineteen worlds... by an unknown force... *he took a deep breath* the last world that got hit was kintar... and i couldn't get there fast enough to fight off the blasted monsters... *he turned away a moment*

*jad shook his head* ey, aitrus... no worries... *he took a deep breath* and now, i'm alone once more... rin was planetside when the attack came... and fred's gone as well, he'd been at kintar with the defense fleet... *a tear rolled down his left cheek, though jad didn't seem to notice*

*Aitrus opened his mouth to responds, but could only close it again and shake his head gently. None of the words that came to mind seemed to fit how he could vocalize his thoughts properly. He takes his glass and starts to rinse it in the sink.*
((One more post I think then I have to take off. I have to go turn in a lab report and meet with one of my professors.))
