Nami nodded respectively to Seph. " Evening." She greeted and turned back to Neko. She decided to be honest would be the best course.
"It's just...I'm not sure about what I am anymore. Am I still a Konoha Ninja, or does that part not count anymore? I'm not exactly a Gaian Ninja am I? Because I just got here...so...I'm don't exactly know how to act, or what to do. I am my own person. That's not the issue...I just...maybe it's an identity crisis?" She glanced down at her fabric swatched thigh, visualizing the weapon pouch and the hitai-ate within. The leaf symbol flashed bright behind her eyes.
"But it's not important." She added hastily. "I'll figure it out."

-=Neko sighed, and pulled out his headband from insideof his kimono. He sat it on the table, to show Nami. The plate was bare steel, no insignia inscribed=-
Well, what helps me, is I think of myself as an individual. I'm not a part of something bigger, i'm not a part of some village, and I'm not a part of this academy. I take care of things, because they need to be taken care of, and I look out for those close to me, my family, and my students.
You are what you are. An individual. You can make your own choices, now. You'll still have a part of your past with you, but it shouldn;t regulate your life, just influence it.

But, that's just me, I guess, and I like to ramble...I just never really get the chance..

Nami nodded slowly. "I know myself as an individual...I just always added being a Konoha ninja into the equation..." She reached beneath her Yukata and withdrew the leaf hitai-ate, placing it on the table surface. "I'll always be proud of where I came from. That will never change, nor do I think you'd expect it to...it wouldn't be offensive if I wore this when training would it?"

Of course not. We have ninjas from many villages here, and they respect each other. Do what you feel comfortable about doing, because that's what matters here the most..As far as my students go. It's hard to tap into all of your potential if you're worried about appearances or pointless rules all the time.

"I just tend to worry about self-imposed rules...not ones that were set for me by others. Those I can break without remorse when there is reason behind them." She shoved a section of hair behind her ear and leaned back in her chair. "What about you? Where are you from?"

Me? I'm not really from anywhere.. I was just lucky enough get enough training to start learning for myself... If I had to be from somewhere, I'd say that I was from here, since I was born into a village which had to move around a lot, and this is really the first place where it's felt like home.

Sensing she'd broached a careful, if not touchy subject, she smiled instead, and quickly finished up the last of her soup. It had been growing cold but nonetheless still tasted wonderful. " Well I'm glad you found a home." She said finally. "You're obviously really dedicated."

Thanks. I try, but I've been a bad Sensei, until just recently. I've just had mission after mission, and I got lost, for a few weeks.
-=He chuckled. Some elite ninja he was. There was a tinge of sarcasm in his words though, so he was apparently speaking lightheartedly=-
...Wa it rough? To leave those you cared about?

Nami sighed. "Mission after mission is tough. It takes getting used to working with people other than your old team, or on your own. I just got used to it."
"...Was it rough? To leave those you cared about?" Neko asked. Nami shrugged.
"That, I'll leave until tomorrow. Right now I'm exhausted so I'll have to excuse myself." As she spoke, she stood, chair pushing out behind her. Straightening her Yukata, she smoothed her hair and wishing Neko a good night and sweet dreams, drifted out of the kitchen and towards her room where she promptly curled up on the bed and let sleep take her.

-=Neko nodded to Nami, wishing her a good night before sitting up, and walking outside. It wouldn;t be a good idea to sleep much, so he decided to go for a walk in the forest. He concentrated, changing back to his normal form before walking out into the dark brush, soon disappearing into the woods=-

-=Neko quietly makes his way back into the dojo, his clothes rather tattered and bloody. He makwes sure that noone is in the main room, or his hallway before bolting to his room, to change into a fresh set of clothes. He wears his normal attire, a long-sleeved grey shirt with comfortable-fitting grey jeans, none of his weapons visible. He yawns, and lightly smacks himself on the cheek before walking back into the hall, heading for his office=-

Nami rolled over, clutching the pillow to her chest. She tried to blink the sleep from her eyes but failed. With a sigh she heaved herself up into a sitting position, yukata falling about her in pools of navy fabric. She'd forgotten to change. With a sigh, she re-adjusted everything, slipped into her sandals and ventured out into the hall, forgetting to brush or braid her hair.
Crossing the main room, she went immediately to the kitchen, surprised to find it empty, but then again, it was early morning. Grabbing eggs, cheese, green onions, tomatoes, bacon and some milk.
Two pans went on the stove, one for the eggs and one for the bacon she had chopped up into small pieces.
She quickly set to preparing the large omlette Milks, eggs, green onions, cheese, all mixed together in a large bowl and then tossed into the other pan. While it cooked, she diced up the tomatoes and set them apart on a small plate and went to add the now-cooked bacon into the mess.
When it was finished, she seperated a large piece and litered the top with tomatoes. Satisfied, she set herself at the table to enjoy her breakfast.

-=Neko opened the door to the closet in the hall, walked in, and opened the door to his office, and closed it behind himself, leavig the closet door wide open. He walke to the balcony to look over the lake, sighing heavily=-
Dammit. That could've been helped...

It's not like anyone got hurt... I'll just go to town and pick up some things, maybe that'll get my mind off of it...
