Finding Syoku asleep, Nyl headed all the way out to the porch. She sat down on the top step and leaned against a post, letting herself drop into a half-doze.

Seph poked his head into the kitchen. The flame was still up and running, so there was still soup to be heated. He moved over to it, stirred it again, then filled another bowl-full.
~Want more soup, Doc?~ He estimate four, maybe five more bowls left.

-=Neko raised an eyebrow, then looked back at Fen, wondering if she had said anything. A moment later, he looked at Nami, and took a few stept toward her=-
Yes, technically I am, at the moment. And you're a little nosey.
-=He picked up the bowl that Zyph left behind, the turned around to slowly walk back to the sink. It wasn't until he reached it that he turned around and flashed Nami a "Just kidding" smile, before turning on the water and washing the bowl out=-

~No thanks, thief-sensei. One was enough. I'm content.~

Seph took his bowl and a spoon out to join her. "Content is not happy." He said, sitting on the stairs and taking a spoonful of soup as he gazed up at the stars. "But, it's not sad, either." He smiled.

She felt slightly more relieved when he grinned at her, as the veins around her eyes disappeared. "Sorry anyways." She replied, seating herself carefully. She'd meditated the entire time she'd been gone, without moving, to regain the chakra she'd expended getting the scroll. Her arms were still a little stiff but it was nothing of importance.
"Is there any extra soup?" She asked politely, tilting her head to gaze about the room quickly.

-=Neko looked into the pot, taking out a fresh bowl. There were about three bowls left in the bottom. He scooped some into the bowl, and walked over to Nami, offering it to her after grabbing a spoon=-
Sure, here ya' go. Need anything with it?

"It just is." Somehow Nyl thought this might one day be profound.
Not today, though. Today, she was falling asleep.
((I have to study and then go to bed! Night guys!))

She was going to get the soup herself, not wanting to put anyone out but was truly grateful when Neko set it down before her. Taking the spoon she smiled genuinely. "This is fine, wonderful actually. I think I forgot to eat today."
The scroll pressed against her side but she ignored it, shifting until she could no longer feel it.

-=Neko chuckles a little, then sits at the table with Nami=-
Ah, that happens a lot here, really.
-=He sighs softly, leaning his chair back just a titch as he goes over the days events=-
You really are a card, Nami. The only pureblood Hyuuga I've seen and known about, and you've definently proven to me that they deserve their status in Konoha's society...
-=He laughed to himself, looking over at her with a wide smile=-
I mean, do you know how long it's been since a new student has been able to lay a hand on me? Too long!

By the time Seph finished his soup and looked back at Nyl, she was asleep. He blinked, then smiled softly. He left the bowl on the steps, then carefully picked her up and nudged the door open with his toe. He yawned softly as he carefully turned her rooms doorknob and lay her down in bed. He stretched some, then moved back to the door. "Night." He said as he slipped back out and down the hall towards the kitchen.

"I am?" She blushed. " I just wanted to keep you away from the lake. I figured once you were really close to an actual body of water, I'd be finished." She paused to swallow a mouthful of soup. It was delicious. " Are the Hyuuga's so rare outside of the village then?"

Ones from the main house are.
-=Neko quickly looked Nami over, as if he were looking for something in particular=-
..And I'd assume you're from the main house...I don't see a seal on you.

"Oh...they were going to seal me actually. They forbid my parents from being together and sent me to branch house to be raised but fortuitous circumstances brought my parents back together so the elders allowed me to come back. They thought about it again when they considered me a threat to the heir...then thought they might marry me off to conserve the bloodline. I can't remember which cousin they picked out though. I'd never met him before...Only saw him from a distance. That's when they decided to train me how to be a proper woman, fans, flowers, making and pouring tea, walking properly in full kimono..." She sighed.
'Anyways, since I had never directly made a threat towards anyone, it went against their code of honor to kill me...so they sent me off to train somewhere else which leads me to a bit of a conundrum..." She cut herself off suddenly, acutely aware she hadn't spoken so much, or so honestly at one time in a while. Silence was considered a cherished virtue. In a house where everyone could see everything, words weren't usually needed and discretion was more important than gold.

Seph slipped back into the kitchen, smiling at Neko and Nami. "Hey, you two. How are you doing?"
