To be honest, Hidan's only problem was that he didn't fight with a brain. Therefore immortality was a meagre factor before the brilliance of Shikamaru.
I'm a little worried though. o_O Does this mean the Nara clan grounds still have the (very much still alive) head?

I'm a little worried though. o_O Does this mean the Nara clan grounds still have the (very much still alive) head? His power specializes on 1 on 1. He can easily be beheaded and once that happens he's all but beat, it might take a person dieing to beat him but I can see average jounin group beating him. Sasori just has to cut his head off with his waterguns. It cut through solid rock and if you pay attention in the anime, biggrin it cuts a cloud in half and instantly it goes away Also hidan has shown no genjutsu or poison immunity. Zabuza would beat Hidan since Hidan doesn't have sharingan so he couldn't responde nearly fast enough before his head is cut off while hiding in the mist.

Suna would pick up quickly. that sounds cool. ive always loved the third kazekage biggrin He got beat down by sasori in the shadows. Orochimaru needed Kabuto and Kimmamaro to do that to 4th hokage who is weaker than the 3rd. So yep, Sasori > Orochimaru, Kimimaro, and Kabuto before third kazekage puppet Sasori = epic win Math thats epic math win right there. btw i just made a kiri ninja too lol. Only way I do. Also I like how Sasori himself said he took out a village (and he didn't seem all that stoned at the time) and yet on youtube like 5 people have said "where was this said? I don't believe you, he didnt' take out a village alone" Sasori was one of the strongest akatsuki. He took out a whole village and silent killed a pure destructive 3rd kazekage. Kakazu got fodderized by tenten when he was outnumbered by fodder. Kakazu > Hidan Anyway, youi made a kiri ninja? I'm a genin right now since I'm lazy and I kinda have been gone from the guild. So if you're lower catch up but I'm guessing you aren't starting as an academy student. Hurry and somehow make a genin and we can pwn s**t together biggrin yea i made an academy student cuz i guess that is what was needed but i can always make another character its no big deal lol. and yea sasori was way too epic to get taken out by an annoying little girl and an old lady.

Does anyone know if by immortality they meant Immortality as in unable to die by sickness or violence... Or immortality as in compete immortality even from old age? and also did he also have eternal youth? How did he get immortality in the first place?

Plot hole Konako. His immortality was never explained. But keep an eye out for a future event in Konoha about playing catch with Hidan's head.
Insane? Hidan always was for starters. But to find a thousand year passed he'll be sprouting evils against the Nara clan for sure. xD; For some reason though, I think the village will be amused with his curses.
