He looks back at the lycan. "Ah nevemrind, this self hatred is almost as dishonoorable as the acts that lead to it. Hmm... you have the nails for it, would you like to learn how to play O-Koto? I need a distraction..."

Finn had never herd of such a game. but of corese she didnt care, she let her childsh nature respond.
"shure!" she said looking all sorts of excited at the proposition of a game.

Haruko begins to walk back towards the woods, hoping she follows. Once inside it seems as if it is much larger than it actually is, untill you pass a certain point, then many of the trees dissapear, and you are left in a small clearing where the rain isn't falling. There are a number of low tables and nailed to a tree is a long piece of paper with 9 japanese symbols on it. 5 on their own going down and 4 in 2 pairs. (it's in the sig, minus the english writing) "This is where I live. And this is the O-Koto." he says, pointing at a long horizontal string instrument about as high as the tables.

Finn falowed Saito into the trees untill thy came to the clearing, she then took off her jacket and set her board down at the edge of the clearing, and looked about the place. when Saito pointed out the O-Koto she then nderstood alot better what he ment.
then she walked over to the instramint and looked it over expmining every string before she looked back up to Saito.
"thats one of the most interesting things I've ever seen" she sad.

Haruko smiles, and then laughs, "It is an interesting instrument, allmost like a guitar, I suppose. Hmmm if you'd like to sit on this side of it" he points to the one side, "Then we can begin. It would probably be best to sit cross-legged and keep your back strait. Good posture is important."

hearing the instructions she sat down crosslegged and took off her gloves, revealing three scars all parallel to each other running down her left hand. she then sat streight up and awated instructions trying to keep her posture as good as it would get.

Haruko seems to think for a moment, but says nothing. After a little while he takes his arms out of his sleaves and then lets the top of his Yukata fall away, hanging down past his waist. He then sits behind you and leans foreward to show your hands where to go, "Gomen... I forget how to play unless I am in position... first move this hand here..." and he moves her hand to one position on the strings. "And this one here" and he moves the other hand. "Now, pull this string with this hand and then silence it by touching it softly with the other." he moves your hand over one string.

Finn giggled a little when he said he could only play when in position where she couldent play any instramint at all. he gave her instructions and when he was done she gave it a second to let it sink in before actualy pulling the specified string and listening to the sound for a moment, then silencing it with her other hand as he had told her to do,
" like that right?" she asked makeing shure.

Haruko smiled, "Hai... now" he lans forward a little more, and moves her hands so while they remain on that string they can also pluck the next one, and the one along from that. "Now, pluck these three in the order I have placed your fingers. Silence each one once the note is played..."

she repeted the motion she was taught jsut a little wile ago then pulled the three new strings, silencing them as she had been told. the melody was rather nice.
"cool!" she said smileing
that was the first bit of music that she had ever played.

Haruko smiles once again, "Now, try to do a full scale like that. All the way up and down." He leans back slightly, letting her do it on her own this time.

Finn pulled the strings and silenced them in backwards order by accedent, she didn't relize it untill she was done though then she laughed.
"oops!" she said as she did it in correct order this time.

Haruko laughs a little, but good-naturedly. "You were playing it like a harp then... well, that scale is the basis of Sakura Sakura, you might have heard of it. Even here in the wast many people have. It's a stereotypical Japanese song, played on O-Koto. It's beutifull and I like to listnen to it when I meditate sometimes."
