Felina glanced over at the fiends behind her. She nodded and reconstructed the barrier behind them "Just try to get things done quickly, this ability can drain a lot out of me"
Hayate stepped around the corner and fired an arrow into the neck of the last remaining ninja. He sighed "Was that it? I was expecting more I must admit"
Satoshi shook her head "Theres lots more further in. It's just that team of 4 was probably sent to guard the entrence to the inner area" she explained taking the head of the ninja that was lying on the floor unconscious.

Oassu pulled the pinwheel back and caught it "Hey Felina take a break from that you look tired" he said as he walked round the corner.
Zadina nodded "Your mana must be running low after all this."
Itaka looked at Satoshi's actions with disgust "Why do you have to take his head? He's dead don't defile his corpse"
Mari stroked Chobi contentedly "Warhorses for battle, we just don't have Chocobo's but they are much nicer to look at than horses" she said with a smile.

Seph watched Satoshi take off the head and rolled her eyes "Why did you just do that? That wasn't cool that was just disgusting" she scolded as a mess formed on the ground.
Alpha noddd at Zadina "We can take care of those fiends if you want, take a rest. It was you after all who said to save our strength"
he advised.
Hebal patted Chobi on the head "Chocobos were once used by viera to go to battle with. They are surprisingly good."

Satoshi glared at Seph and Itaka "He wasn't dead, just unconscious. Also if there is any uncertainty about the death of an opponant you take the head off as a saftey measure"
Felina shook her head "Not until we are a little way from those fiends. I want to be more useful than yesterday" she went over to Zadina and Oassu and gave them both a hug "Thanks for your concern"
Hayate sighed and passed her an ether "Fine. Just don't push yourself too hard"

Itaka spat "Come on Satoshi, a few more stabs and a check of the pulse is enough to ensure your enemy is dead" he said kneeling down and checking the pulse of a dead enemy to prove a point. Getting up he walked on "It's not sporting to do that" he said taking the head off of Satoshi and placing it delicately back on the stump of a neck the ninja had.
Oassu hugged Felina "You are useful though but don't go tiring yourself out I don't know what I'd do without ya"
Zadina rolled his eyes at the lovey doveyness at pulled himself out of the group hug.
Mari nodded before bowing to the villagers "Thank you all for you help it was an honour"
The villagers shuffled their feet embaressed before making general generic nodding and agreement noises.

Seph snickered "I guess you never know like with the stuff we have nowerdays. I heared about this one pill that puts you into a death like state temperairly then they put some sort of revival pill in you to get you back" She scratched her chin.
Alpha waved a hand dismissively before continuing forwards "That stuff is just a bunch of rubbish."
Hebal waved the villagers off then turned to Mari "so what would you like to do now" she asked.

Satoshi shook her head "You see. It's pills like those that make you have to be extra sure" she told them. Secretly she had no idea what Seph was talking about.
Hayate rolled his eyes "I'll believe it when I see it" he grumbled striding down the cave.
Felina smiled and let go of Oassu "As if I would leave you guys alone." she giggled at Seph's comment "Thats just silly"

Itaka grunted "Yeah but I'm pretty sure with enough stabbings you can ensure an enemy is dead as well" he rolled his eyes "Besides things like that are almost as crazy as giant walking crap launchers"
Zadina thought for a moment "Don't rule it out as a possibility, medicine is developing at an astonishing rate"
Oassu nodded "If you take that pill and it kills you temporarily how can you use another pull to revive yourself?" he pondered.
Mari flopped down on the couch "I'm not sure....what do you guys do for fun around here?" she sighed with comfort

Seph raised her eyebrow "Giant walking crap launchers? And you called Satoshi disgusting" she shook her head and followed Hayate.
"Real smooth Itaka" Alpha chuckled. He looked over at Zadina "Oassu has a point but who knows what the future will hold" he grined and went after Seph.
Hebal sighed placing her spear in the corner "Theres not much to do really. We only use this place for sleeping eating and travelling" she admitted.

Satoshi shook her head "you can never be sure with ninjas. They could be using a clone or something" she argued.
Hayate turned around to wait for the others "What are you guys waiting for?"
"Lets go and catch up to the silly people" Felina whispered to Oassu and took his hand once again. "Maybe you'll invent something really interesting like that one day" she grinned at Zadina

Itaka shook his head and flushed "You honestly think that was my idea? An old drinking buddy called Sig told me about that one day" he rolled his eyes quickening his step "He was messed up"
Zadina smiled "I'm sure you'll invent something better Felina your own spell or something!"
Oassu rolled his eyes "Ok then lets hurry on down to the mines filled with scary nethicite ninjas and some massive monster."
Mari grinned "Then lets go help the others! With this ship we'd be there in no time!" he drew her sword "Besides I gotta finish off that traitor Kyato!"

Alpha turned his head and snickered "Then what does that make you for listening to him"
Seph looked around and sniffed the air "This place totally stinks of blood now. She quickly jumped back realising there was something right next to her hand. She glanced over to see the remains of what was once a nethicite infused coeurl. "The ninjas have been busy keeping the fiends out"
Hebal nodded standing up "We can go in through this side of the cave. I already know some of the way and maybe we could meet them in the middle"

Felina turned to Oassu "The sooner we get this over and done with, the sooner we can leave" she glanced over to where the dead fiend was "You would think they would at least clean up" she complained.
Satoshi sighed "Don't be wimps it's only a dead fiend" she scolded them and walked past the corpse.
Hayate folded his arms "Hardly anyone cleans up fiends. It will fade anyway," he glanced up ahead "There aren't any fiends up this path that I can see"

Itaka sighed "Anyway it would look like the Ice ninja are having some trouble themselves with the fiends" he kicked the Coeurl "Maybe we'll find em all dead anyway"
Oassu nodded "I hear summoners can perform sendings to exorcise demons and spirits thats kinda clean up" he said walking on.
Zadina frowned "There may be ninja too but it is an ugly sight" he said deliberately not looking at the monster"
Mari jumped up in jubilation "YEAH! Let's go I thirst for battle!!!" she cried running out the ship.

Alpha shook his head "I doubt all the ninjas are dead. If they were they wouldn't have been able to attack the town" he pointed out as he passed the fiend.
Seph waited for Oassu to catch up once the cave had begun to open out "I heard summoners send spirits to rest because those that lose their way become fiends"
Hebal picked up her spear and headed out the airship "Maybe I should take the lead since I have been in the cave before" she jumped down the steps and in front of Mari. "Its this way" she guided her through the entrence of the cave and formed a small fire in her hand.
