Understandable. I can only compare it to waiting for my birthday (in March) celebration until May most college years.
Yes, I agree. Yeah, funny how this thread got abandoned by its creator. Nobody else even bothers to post here, so I guess it is! ninja mrgreen

Yeah, some days it is all i can do to keep from talking about it. I cant wait! But then I remember I have no real choice in the matter. So I distract myself with other things.
Yeah, I have wondered whatever happened to that girl- but meh. she should be notified like mad since she made the thread and we keep responding to it. If she cared, she'd come back. sweatdrop In the meantime . . . I have annexed it.

A good thing to do. You've probably got enough video games to keep you sated/distracted for long enough.
True enough. Yeah, that works well enough for me! 3nodding

I do have a few games. ^_^;;;;;
Right now I am almost done with a high chaos run of Dishonored, and am left to wonder what to play next. Ratchet and Clank collection (3games), or Lego Star Wars for PS3 (6 movies worth) . . .

Oh, so you decided to run through it again, huh? How has that play-through been going thus far?
R+C will provide a greater challenge than LSW, but LSW is easier to play in short bursts...

Yeah, the first run through was all stealthy with minimal kills (3 in the whole game). This time I am not holding back and killing every asshat in my way. Thus, I will have high Chaos, and ahve a save with low and high chaos.
I am kinda torn. Love RnC, but Lego is a no-brainer for fun.
That, and my subscription to Playstation Plus just gave me free access to megaman 9 and 10. Yep, two free games. Awesome!

Good, you can experience every ending that way.
Mega Man 10 is absolutely excellent! Mega Man 9 is... brutal. Its levels are more difficult than those of the classic titles, and its weapons are more OP than those of the classic titles. It's not bad per se; it's just very poorly balanced.
EDIT: I just found and watched Elf Princess Rane. It was hilarious! I love when the aqua-haired guy (his constant need to push up his hair is a funny as well) recites a Cthulhian chant. That Go's sisters are all twins who work in nearly every area of the city is another good one. Wow, that sure had me laughing. I still prefer FLCL personally, but I can see why you like EPR so much.
http://www.crunchyroll.com/humanity-has-declined I just found this anime, and it's got a zany spirit akin to FLCL and EPR. The sheer absurdity and occasional references (2001: a Space Odyssey, Casshern, Bioshock, etc...) are great, so you might like it.

Duely noted on the new show. I might check it out.
As for mega, I actually considered playing 10 first for the easy mode. ^_^;;;;;;; been a while since the blue bomber and I shared time.

That song the aqua-haired guy from EPR sings in the filed of roses, when coupled w/ the ridiculously awkward dance moves he pulls, is another great scene. It's a shame there's no more to it...
I just finished Humanity Has Declined (I watch too much anime too quickly...). So random even the chronology is twisted...
In that case, definitely start w/ MM10. I play through at least 1 MM game every year to keep my skills from getting too rusty (possible thanks to the GameCube's Mega Man Classic Collection). I suppose that puts me in a minority. xp

Anime consumption at unhealthy levels of excess. duely noted. ^_~
yeah, I have the Megaman and Megaman X collections for PS2, but only play through them every once in a while. I actually liked MM8 and X4 the best. Go figure. But yeah, I am WAY rusty.

*anime addiction* ninja
I also very much enjoyed MM8 (which I had not played before the collection). It gets a bad rap, but it's a very good installment that tries a lot of new ideas that actually work well (unlike some of MM7's ideas).
EDIT: Have you played any other MM franchises (Legends, Zero, Battle Network, etc...)?

I fervently believe that any act or substance can become addictive when not handled correctly.
I thought MM8 was rather awesome. They took the enhanced graphics and power of the Playstation, and used it to take the cartoonish look further without sacrificing the greatness of the game. It had some failings (voice acting!!!), and some iconic moments (Jump, Jump, Slide, Slide, Jump, Slide ********!!!). I thought nearly all the robot masters in that game were fun and distinctive, the contest to mail in ideas not harming that at all. I also enjoyed the different animation for using the specific weapon weakness on an boss was great, such as the tangling of Clown Man's arms or the joyous cries of Grenade Man.
I did purchase Megaman Zero (one of em) for the DS, and that was fun enough. it took the logical extreme of not just stealing a weapon . . . but becoming the enemy at will. Interesting twist.

As do I. Not always chemically, but certainly behavioral. Though, the extra dopamine released by behavioral addictions can cause pseudo-checmical addictions to things that you can't normally be addicted to.
I was joking about my addiction, and it's not like it interferes w/ my life. I just choose to spend my free time that way (and, due to the rules, maybe making up for the inability of watching anime at college).
Yeah, I also liked how it divided the 8 robot masters into 2 sets of 4 to allow for more focus more on story. The Mega Ball was additionally a neat weapon that could be surprisingly effective. Oh that snowboarding sequence...
Ah, that must have been one of the ZX titles. I've heard those are also good, but I don't have a DS.

Hehe, Addictions do not have to be destructive . . . such depends on how much they interfere with the daily functioning of the individual. wink
never really used the Mega ball much. I mean, the giant hermit-crab boss in the opening level was weak to it, but such was the extent of my use of the thing. *cringes at the snowboarding- in a good way*
Yeah, it was a ZX, I believe. Still, not a bad game. The main problem with it was the complete lack of direction. Unless you remembered exactly what every detail was for, it was easy to wander around aimlessly till you stumbled on the right door to get further in the story. stare
Tried the Lego, and was disapointed. I have to play half the damn game before something I haven't done before will come up. I had the game for PS2 that was episodes I-III, so it was very repeditive. Ugh. Then again, put in RnC today . . . and had a decent time playing Ratchet 1. So, there is that!
