[Quistis :: Shipwreck Cove :: Docks]

After the ship had docked, the Blue Magess had immediately gotten off of the ship and began to explore the pirate 'fortress' on her own. It had been a very interesting experience. There was rum and swords and gunpowder abound. Alright, so it wasn't a very eventful exploration. Quistis had expected as much. She did, however, notice that the place was very well prepared to take on any sort of seige. It was amazing that pirates had even found this place...

Or did they carve into it? She wasn't sure, but she continued to wander around, taking in the various mysteries that it seemed to hold.

{Leon : Hawaii : Alien Ship -> Clearing}

{{Cue: Ambush Attack(title fail but what can you do? XD)}}

Leon's mind was focused on preparing for the all out war that was about to commence, he listened to Riku's advise regarding the trinity charms, though to him that didn't matter. At that very moment is when all of the sirens started blaring and everything turned red with the warning lights. The attack was beginning, he quickly followed the others out of the ship and into the clearing where chaos ensued.His attention turned to Terra and Cory briefly, noting that the woman was now piloting a large machine, her magitek armor. The gunblader charged forward into the battle, gunblade at the ready, immediately defeating two tengu with a horizontal strike.

He swung again, knocking back a few heartless just as the loud metallic grinding sound resonated across the field. Leon raised his hands to his ears, trying to block out the sound. However, the damage was done, his ears rang and his head spun in disorientation and confusion had set in. His gunblade swung wildly as he tried to shake it off. He was so disoriented that he couldn't see straight, making it difficult to distinguish between foe or ally. However, he realized that he couldn't just stop fighting. There were too many enemies nearby. Without meaning to, he charged forward and attempted a slash at Kichi.

[Cory .:. Hawaii .:. Clearing]

The shuriken edge sank a good three inches into the ronin's back, catching him as guard and forcing him to gasp in pain. No time for weakness. You've experienced deeper wounds. Confusion quickly overcame the ronin, but stayed for only a moment before Daigoro's Loyal Bite snapped him out of it. Cory gritted his teeth as he swung around, the weapon either tearing from his back or from Yuffie's hands as he attempted to sweep her legs out from under her before following up immediately with another Hakyokuken ability. The rogue attempted to palm strike the ninja, the speed and force of the attack making a sound similar to a gunshot as he shouted, "Divine Pillar!"

{Kyle : Hawaii : Alien Ship -> Clearing

Kyle jumped a bit as the alarms went off, not really expecting it so quickly. Soon after though, he was running after Riku, summoning his weapons once he saw the enemies. He was a bit confused though, seeing as the earth was moving to defend Terra. Who's controlling the earth? Or did someone learn a new trick in the couple of hours that we were apart? Or is Elleon hiding somewhere around here and playing? Regardless, the boom that resounded from John and Beatrix clashing was too much to pass up. He had to help his fellow Clevelander out.

Running forward, he joined the fray and quickly dispatched a few Heartless and Tengu warriors. He was trying to move forward to help John when that godawful noise sounded. Immediately he pitched forward and only just managed to catch himself. The ground was spinning and he couldn't see straight. He immediately started up Tracing the Steps, intending to stay away from his allies by their footsteps. Unfortunately, the vibrations coming back were getting twisted in his mind. What he thought was a line of enemies was actually only a few enemies, ending with Riku. Kneeling, he sent an Earth Fang at the line, decimating the enemies, but leaving it to attack Riku. He pitched forward again then, landing on his knees and moving the earth around him to try to protect himself from attacks.

[Kichi :: Hawaii :: Clearing]

Kichi continued smashing at the aerial attackers, when he heard a gear-grinding noise that threw his vision into a blur, and all his horizontal directional sense out the window. Fortunately, he was the only one in mid-air combat, meaning if he stayed that way, he'd be fine, and would not have to worry about things, like, say, Leon swinging his blade in the air in Kichi's general direction. Thus, he continued as he had been, keeping the aerial onslaught his allies would have to deal with to a minimum.

[ Kyle ; Sora : Shipwreck Cove : Docks ]

"Guys, I know we want to help them, but- the merpeople, the Replicas-" he said, looking between them with relative exasperation. He went silent as the rest of the talk went on, thinking.

.:You know... you could always ask.:.

He blinked. But he's-

.:Nothing you're not already familiar with.

"Riku said not to bother with the pirates. For one, the group they're going against is composed of pirates as well," Sora explained to Sayrike's suggestion. Normally, it would have been a good one, and Sora would have agreed, but now... "Also, pretty much all the enemies are flying in airships or something like that- hence the need for the summon-zord-things."

"Not to mention that interrupting the meeting could completely mess up the timeline more than it already is," Kyle muttered, though he seemed to be only half-attentive.

"Ajora. When do you plan to attack Atlantis?"

"Finally, someone thinks to ask." came the mental response to Kyle alone, the Replica's tone exasperated. "Not 'til morning, deary, same time as the pirate siege. Why on earth would I bother to let you have all your forces at once?"

"And how do I know I can trust you?"

"Because we both know you'd already come to the same conclusion, anyway. Now hurry up, you're going to miss all the fun!"

Kyle seethed as he cut off Ajora's laughter; of course he had his hand in what was going on in Hawaii. Luckily, he'd come in about the same time Anthony was talking, something about teleporting.

"Well, we probably have 'til morning anyway. We could try getting one of their Nobodies to open a Corridor, but..." he muttered, only to suddenly go wide-eyed. "Wait- the train! We can still contact-"

He immediately lifted his wrist and spoke into his charm. "Zell! Zell, can you hear me?"

He glanced up at the others as he waited. "I took some time last night to get familiar with the train controls- couldn't sleep-"

"Yo, Zell Express here, what's shakin'?" the image of the blond-haired tattooed monk appeared in each of their minds (sans those with no charm or who'd turned it off), with half a hot-dog in his hand.

"Can you patch us through to Merlin?" he asked, his tone urgent enough to get Zell's attention.

"You got it, one sec-" he said, immediately placing the hotdog down and getting at the out-of-sight controls. "Aaaand presto-"

There was a sudden 'poof' of blue powder near Kyle, which caused him to yell in shock and reflexively jump out to the side... and into the water.

"What seems to be the issue?" the blue-clothed wizard asked in an urgent tone of his own, looking around at the faces before noticing Kyle popping his head back up out of the water. "Oh, is now really the time to be lolly-gagging around?!"

[[Two things. First, sorry to Mizu for the GMing of Zell, just figured I'd get this out of the way, as making this multiple posts didn't really seem necessary. Second, I'm actually kind of surprised no one's tried to get to figure out all the things the train can do yet...

EDIT: Also, if you care to imagine Kyle's shout, it would just be a quick and simple 'GAH' with a jump, filled with limb flailing.]]

((@Kyle: You're forgiven. n_n But does this mean I can bring him back in soon? 8D))

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Clearing, Central Command}

Bobbi was right on Riku's heals as they burst into the clearing and the midst of battle. Immediately she veered off to the side, firing her ice-arrows one after the other, her Rapid Shot put to the max. Sure, she wasn't quite as accurate, but she didn't care. She just wanted to shoot things, and took out her anger on the Heartless and Tengu.

~:Calm down, child,:~ Shiva said, trying to soothe the Archer out of her rage.

Not. Now, Bobbi snapped back, her mental voice a low growl. She fired off a half-dozen more shots before Terra's Magitek started making that horrible noise. Bobbi choked out a gasp of pain and clapped her hands over her ears, her eyes tightly shut for a moment. She was out of the way of the fight since she had to have distance to be effective, so she was pretty sure she'd be safe. But not her friends, they were in the thick of it.

Gotta make sure no one else gets hurt, she thought, opening one eye. She really wanted to close it again. The world wasn't just spinning, it was practically the lead role in a freaking ballet. Complete with pirouettes and jumps and lifts and whatnot. She almost threw up.

She caught movement out of the corner of her eye, and immediately fired an arrow in that general direction, only realizing after it had left her bow that she had just fired at a friendly unit. Or she thought they were friendly. They looked human, anyway...

Crap, who was that? Cory? Riku? No loss if it's Cory, but it better not have been anyone else, she thought guiltily, biting her lip. She would have just stopped shooting altogether, but she found herself firing at pretty much everything that moved, lacing the battlefield with ice-arrows that froze on impact.

Demyx was rather pleased with his choice of hiding spot. Not obvious that he was hiding, but out-of-the-way enough that he wasn't being hauled along to the fight. And if he was lucky, he wouldn't be thrown out by anyone, either. He looked around at the commotion in the ship, the kids running outside, the aliens doing their thing with their ship.

"I'll just stay out of your way," he said, as if anyone had asked him what he was doing. "No point in me messing everything up, no sir!"

[ Beatrix ; ???s ; Riku ; Seymour ; Cloud : Hawaii : Clearing ]

Many of the Tengu Jon knocked down sat there for a few moments, their heads spinning, only to get back up and launch themselves at other nearby foes- John and Cloud being prime examples.

Yuffie's weapon ripped out of his back as he turned and swept his legs; with her heightened reflexes, she was easily able to do a back-flip away from the ronin after having her legs swept from under her, allowing her to disappear in another silent burst of smoke before the Divine Pillar could connect.

Riku had just entered the true fray, swinging and destroying a few of the weaker Heartless (as well as critically injuring a number of Tengu) when the strange sound went off, forcing him to cover his ears until it ended. He felt... dizzy. His sight was notably off (he saw nothing but blurs, and they all seemed hostile) and he couldn't help but feel overly-defensive, swinging at anything that came near. Luckily, those were all ally-units anyway.

When Kyle's Earth Fang knocked him back, he quickly got back up and wordlessly went back to swinging randomly- looking pretty foolish, really. However, when Bobbi's arrow grazed his arm (it exploded a few feet away, so the ice damage didn't get him), he stood still for a moment, blinking as he glanced around. It was... chaotic.

Cloud had, somehow, managed to remain sane after the attack, though he immediately entered a defensive position when he noticed them starting to attack one another- Leon in particular, making a swing that even Cloud knew wouldn't have hit.

What in the hell...?

That's when he spotted Riku taking damage- first from Kyle's magic attack, which seemed to do nothing, then from Bobbi's arrow, which snapped him out of it.

The Buster Blader immediately began to hover off the ground, preparing an attack.

"Physical damage wakes them up!" he shouted, loud enough for the battlefield to hear (though he wasn't sure who was sane enough to hear him); it was at that point that he began to soar around the battlefield in a quick arc, using the blunt side of his blade to knock back Leon and Jon. It wasn't enough to seriously harm them, only enough to disorient them. Then, finishing his arc, he knocked John away from a swinging Beatrix (releasing his Confusion) and bring the blade back around for a finished Cross Slash, managing to knock Beatrix back toward the treeline- but she remained on her feet.

Seymour had arrived (he was fast, but being a mage, decided to stay in the back) and heard the ear-piercing screech of machinery-- it didn't seem to phase him at all. What happened afterward, however, forced his lips to curl into a frown. Luckily, Cloud had managed to piece together the cure, and with a quick summoning of his scepter...

... he bonked Bobbi in the back of the head. "Wake up, girl, lest you hurt your allies."

With Kyle's Tracing the Steps activated and his senses tuned in to the earth surrounding them, he would have felt, very faintly, an abscess in the ground some distance below. He couldn't affect it with his own magic, but he could sense a spherical hole in the earth...

[[For simplicity's sake {I can't believe I haven't done Riku's profile yet x_x}, I'm just going to go with Riku is confused and Cloud isn't. This was agreed upon by Dawn.]]

{Auron : Shipwreck Cove : Docks}

Auron had followed Sora as he gathered them and stood ready at the docks. He listened to the situation in complete silence, analyzing their options. It truly sounded like the other group needed their help, at some place called Hawaii. News from Kyle revealed that they would be able to go and assist and just then Merlin showed up. Auron had long since gotten used to not having a trinity charm and more than likely missing the great majority of their plans. His attention turned to the wizard as he asked them what they needed.

"We need to get to the others in Hawaii, at once," he stated, in his usual simple straight forward manner that no one could possibly misinterpret.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Clearing}

Bobbi's head jerked forward a bit as something collided with it. She brought her arm up to start to use her bow as an oddly-shaped staff to swat the enemy away, when she noticed it was Seymour, and his words sank in.

"What the hell?" she breathed, looking around at the commotion. It took her a moment to figure out what happened, but she shot a quick "thanks" at Seymour before going back to firing at the things she was supposed to be attacking. Although this time, she focused mainly on Terra and her Magitek armor. Anywhere her arrows hit, they left a patch of ice. And if she happened to hit any of the minor enemies, that was just a bonus.

[Terra : Hawaii : Clearing]

Terra watched emotionless as the group turned on each other with the Confuser. It didn't last long as the few who were not effected snapped those that were effected out of the trance-like status. She was about to ready her Bio Blast to hit the group, but was soon hit on the arm by Bobbi's arrow. Terra didn't even let out a sound of pain as she removed the arrow and used the Magitek's Heal Force to heal a majority of the damage. Soon afterwards she launched a Magitek Missile in the direction of Bobbi. If made impact, it would not only do non-elemental damage, but would also have the added effect of Sap.

[ Seymour : Hawaii : Clearing ]

Seymour sensed the magic missile coming this way (though it was pretty obvious from eyesight, as well). With just a moment to spare, he cast the Reflect status on Bobbi. Any magic would, from that point on, merely bounce off of her and straight back at the opponent.

When the missile struck, then, it was inevitable that it would bounce straight back toward its caster with the exact same speed.

"We are too outnumbered," he mused before lifting his scepter. "Thundaga."

A massive group of lightning bolts struck a large gathering of Tengu and Heartless heading in their direction, frying them all immediately so as to prevent the mages in the back from being in immediate danger.

[Dawn : Shipwreck Cove : Docks]

Dawn stared at the group in disbelief. Here their friends and companions were in danger and yet they were debating the need to aid them. Sure the need to get down there to stop Ajora was something that needed to be done, and soon. Though she took note that none of them had already left. What did they do instead? Went on a tour of the pirate's fortress. Which was only a waste of time at this point. They were so close, and they had a chance to get there, and take care of whatever needed to be done.

She was about to suggest a possible split of the groups. If it was so important to them they could go down below, let everyone else go and help the others in Hawaii. She knew what she was going to do. Not as if Dawn had anything better to do. Before she made any commentary though, Kyle spoke up. He mentioned about having to wait, then he spoke to Zell back on the train. Then she saw Zell. Next moment, the old wizard Merlin appeared right in front of her, causing her let out a startled gasp as she jumped and clung to Noelle. (Probably a funny sight seeing how she was taller than Noelle.)

"Darn it, Grandpa! Why do you always got to do that?" Dawn was able to calm herself down and let go of Noelle, as Auron spoke as to what was going on, "Anyway you heard him, we got to get a move on, sounds like the others are in danger. Can you poof us there as fast as you got here?"

[Quina : Hawaii : Clearing]

After everyone took off as the attack started, Quina followed after. He didn't understand how a place with such yummy sand could be target to such a mass attack. He, however, would defend the place of tasty food. Though he did get distracted by a frog he spotted and chased for a time. Until the loud grinding sound snapped him out of it. It did nothing more, but annoy him. For it gave the chance for his dinner to get away. Quina soon joined the others on the battlefield, Fork ready. He cast the spell Mighty Guard on Riku, John, Kichi, Cloud and Leon.

"You no harm tasty sand!" Quina said as he stabbed a Heartless in the face with his weapon.

Sayrike::Shipwreck Cove

It wouldn't have taken much to turn a pirate against his "brethren" (if Sayrike had learned anything from the movies), but having the enemies in flying spaceships could pose a problem. Actually...

"Hey, what are "summon-Zord-things" anyway?"

It kind of rang a bell, but Sayrike couldn't quite place the word. And what kind of airships were they? The ones in something like Treasure Planet were way too slow unless you count something like the skiffs, but those could only hold a small number of people, and the solar surfers even less, neither one of them equipped with weapons on them. She wracked her brain trying to think of what other Disney movie had to do with space. Wall-E? Or maybe it was a Final Fantasy-based enemy? Well, they said it was in Hawaii, so maybe something about Lilo and Stitch? Though the aliens from Lilo and Stitch (and the humans in Wall-E) weren't "bad guys." Honestly, it didn't seem like the other group would have trouble over some Treasure Planet pirates in ships, especially when they only had a limited number of cannon per ship. So there had to be someone else there.

The image of one "Zell" appeared in her mind. Oh, so that's who ran the train. It felt like ages since Sayrike had been on that thing, and she hadn't even been on it for very long. Merlin's arrival didn't faze Sayrike much since she wasn't very close to his arrival spot, but if she had been Kyle, she probably would have jumped too (but hopefully not into the water). With the wizard here, Sayrike took the took the opportunity to ask first, "Before you 'poof' us over, though, is it possible for you to bring up an image of the battlefield right now? I don't know if we're quite sure who we're up against, and running in without knowing anything could be dangerous--and I don't think we need a reminder of what it's like to blunder about in the dark. I'm sure there's things going on there that we don't know about."

Turning to Dawn, she said, "Don't worry, have faith in the strength of your friends. I'm sure they'd be able to survive for another minute or two. Do you think it's possible to contact one of them and get a quick recap of the situation? I know they're battling right now, but one of them might be able to spare a thought or two, and I can't ask seeing as how I've never met them. I mean, I wouldn't want to accidentally destroy something that they were trying to protect or anything like that. Oh, and one more thing..." Lastly, she turned to Kyle. "How do you know that Ajora might not attack until morning? It seems that if someone were going to lay siege to a city, they might do it at night when most people were sleeping." As an afterthought, she remembered her manners. "Oh! Sorry, Merlin! It is a pleasure to meet you, and thank you for the dress sphere and Trinity Charms." I wonder if he could make Charms for those others in our group who don't have dress spheres...
