The Wolf was running faster now, Nikolaus seeing what the girls were doing now. While controlling the wolf he couldn't move, not in the slightest. Since it had become a more solid Light from the Lake's magic, it took more to make it travel. The Wolf passed through the barrier at the same time as the weapon, but remained still halfway through. This was Nikolaus's plan now, since the last had failed.
The weapon hit home, and went through the stomach of Nikolaus's impervious body. It disappeared at the same time as the body collapsed, but Nikolaus's spirit remained intact. It was furious, and was very near to becoming a poltergeist. The Wolf remained where standing, still halfway inside the barrier. Nikolaus grinned, seeing a possible way he could get in. Invisibly, he floated over to the head of the Wolf and attached himself to a single photon within it's head. Soon he began bouncing them together, passing himself ever slowly through the Wolf until he reached the tail end and was inside the barrier.
The Wolf lifted up, and within it was the soul of Nikolaus. He backed it up away from the barrier, and he expanded his size to be equal to the Wolf's, making him appear as if he'd possessed it. It was like a puppet really. A dark chuckled came from the Light creature, as it made it appear to open it's mouth slightly.
((If you guys have any problem with this, please let me know. The main reason I'm doing this is to re-connect the souls of Musica and Nikolaus. If this violates the rules of the barrier I'll edit, but other that him dying I was kind of at a blank there. ))

((Actually, that pretty much works, because the wolf, initially just a nonliving being, would create a sort of momentary hole in the barrier that would allow Nikolaus' soul through with only minimal resistance.))

Ari whooped as the spear hit home. ”I think that deserves forty points, even though it wasn’t a head shot, ja?” she said, slapping the trembling Nessa a high-five. Nessa was watching the wolf. ”Ari,” she said, ”Look…” Ari turned around and looked at it, and watched as it seemed to operate even though its castor was gone. ”Does he never die?!” she grumbled. She watched it carefully. Could it cross back and forth across the border? Her hands flared again, her left with her sound, and the right (with a bit more effort), sparked to life as well.

Musica caused the Lion to disappear for now, and walked over to the edge of the water nearest Evermore and Krause. He peered in to see the pair was just fine. Musica sent a nod over to the creatures that had come out to protect them, knowing they probably wouldn't want it from him, but oh well who cares? Not him anyway. "Hey you two, it's gone for now. Though I have a strong feeling he's not finished here just yet." He said as he sensed the aura of Ari and Nessie change drastically from an exertion of energy. They must have done something, because he also felt Nikolaus's change as well.

The Wolf made a shaking movement with it's head, and held up a single hand with it's index finger extended. Quite a sight to see for a large bi-pedal Wolf. "Not quite, remember the armor is connected to my soul correct? You only destroyed the impervious part of the armor, the body. But the greatly enhancing part of it still remains with me. See ya." He said as he operated the Wolf's mouth to make it appear as if it were talking. In the blink of an eye, it disappeared where it reappeared a distance away. Not far from Musica, but where no one there could see him.

{{Sorry for the OoC, but I wanted to say something before I left so you didn't think I was just ignoring your posts. I am going to bed very soon since I haven't gotten that much good sleep the past couple of nights due to the men working on our roof. So I'm going to bed early tonight. Ari screeched in anger and leaped forward, the energy around her hands elongating into a physical bar of energy. She brought them down right as the wolf vanished. She landed in a kneeling position, a little bit stunned. "Ari!" Nessa said, running up to her friend, "Are you alright?"
Ari looked at her, and then at her hands. "... yeah," she muttered, "I'll be fine. C'mon, we ought to go check on the Headmistress." With that she and Nessa ran to the edge of the lake, happy to see the woman was still ok.

Ever heard Musica and groaned slightly in pain. "Ares must have gotten him, then. I knew... he could."
She grabbed onto Musica's hand and used his help to pull herself out of the lake. She winced as her back pulled painfully. The solid impact she had when she hit the lake had probably screwed up her back. She'd need to get it readjusted.
When she was sitting on the edge of the lake, her feet still in the water, she let go of Musica's hand and fell onto her back on the ground. She groaned again and then breathed deeply.
"What... a wussy goddess I make." She tried to laugh, but that hurt her ribs and caused her to wince in pain again.

"... Ares?" Ari said to Nessa, rolling her eyes. "Try demonic possession and dissipation after becoming a shish-kabob. There's your real answer." Nessa just rolled her eyes. "Nice throw, by the way," Ari added.

Musica shook his head slightly. "I can sense it, Ari and Nessie did something to him. Ares did calm the powerful God that appeared I assume, since both their aura's changed at the same time just about." He helped Evermore up off the ground and made sure she was stable enough to stand on her own. Then he turned to see Ari and Nessie had arrived also. "Hello girls, did things go as planned?" He didn't exactly know what the plan was, but neither did he care. Musica was just glad they were getting somewhere.

Ever winced as Musica helped her up. "Damn... You know, you didn't have to help me up. I would have been... just fine with staying on the ground."
She had to lean on Musica to keep standing. Her side and back hurt too much to stand on her own.
