Amnity sniffed the air and opened her eyes at the delicious smell. She loved stew, any stew, and after eating Jacob's potato stew was now her favorite food. She sat op from the couch and fixed her black hat back on her head. "ME!!! OVER HERE!! I Want some!!" Amnity called, waving her hands in the air.

Jacob laughed, and poured three steaming bowls of the stew. He sat them down at the table, and pulled out three spoons, sitting them beside the bowls. He then turned to the fridge, pulling out three bottles of Guinness, sitting them beside the bowls on the opposite side of the spoons. He removed the beret and balaclava, revealing his hair to be orange once again. "Shall we eat?" he asked, sitting in a chair at the table.

Amnity smiled and hopped on the counter chair and looked down at the bowl of soup. She was about to dig in, but suddenly she noticed Jacob's orange hair. "Jacob!...Your hair, it's orange!" She exclaimed. "Why'd you hide it behind a ski mask?"

"It was supposed to be a surprise for you guys. And I didn't want anyone to recognize me before I got here. I've been through hell these past few days, but I'm all better now!" he laughed, starting in on his stew.

Mephlius quickly took a bowl, and took a big spoonful of stew. "Well, congratulations on getting your hair back." He opened one of the bottles of Guinness, and took a drink.

Amnity was about to ask a question...But smelled the delicious aroma of the soup and decided to ask about it later. She took the spoon delicately and daintily, like a well mannered British woman. She took off her hat and set it gently aside, then took a napkin and placed it carefully on her lap, sitting up straight....Then Amnity grabbed the bowl of stew and held it to her lips, gulping it down quickly. Hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot hot!!!!!
When she was done, she slammed the bowl on the counter. "HOT!!!" She grabbed a bottle of Guiness, drinking it to cool herself off. That was stupid... Then a thought came through her mind. It's Saint Patrick's day soon... Maybe I should get Jacob something.

Jacob muttered "Stupid git..." and took another bite. He opened his Guinness, and took a big drink. He ate a little more, and took Amnity's bowl. He refilled it, and sat back down, pushing the bowl at her. "So, they found Tokeru?" he asked, spooning more stew into his mouth.

Mephlius smiled, and took another spoonful of soup. "No, they didn't. We did. We got a message that he would be in the Statue of Liberty area, and we were the first ones on the scene, and the only one who would decide to look inside the statue. He raised the beer bottle for a toast. "A toast... because somebody's watching out for us up there. Jacob got his problems fixed, and we saved Tokeru from rotting away in the Statue of Liberty. A toast that this good luck will keep up."

Jacob laughed heartily and said "To think, I live with the ones who very well may have saved the Hunter's organization." He raised his bottle in toast. "And the fact that you guys are new ought to get you up in the ranks."

Amnity already had finished the whole bottle of Guinness, but decided to raise it up anyway. It made a delightful clanging noise as she hit it against thier bottles. "I'll toast for that!" She laughed happily. All of her concerns and sadness seemed to melt away slowly. "Well, actually, not really. Tokeru was kind of unconscious when we found him, but there was still a risk to that....By the way Jake, now that your hair is back to orange, does that mean your eyes are going to turn blue again?"

Jacob ate some more stew and said "My eyes were always green." He looked around, and grabbed a napkin. He wiped his mouth, and sat the napkin down. He breathed deeply, and felt good. "Maybe thing's will work out right after all..."

"The way I see it, things are working out right. We banished a shade from Wolf, saved Tokeru, and fixed you. I don't see anything standing in our way right now..." He took another drink. And of course... Am and I got something out in the open...

Amnity nodded, then smiled. "Yeah...Jacob's healthy now, I'm glad...Everything seems to be turning out fine.." With a sigh, she eat the stew, slowly this time.
In the corner of her eyes, she looked at Mephlius, her cheeks turn a light red as she turned back and drank her soup.

Mephlius glanced over at Amnity, and saw her blush, which made him blush very lightly. He looked away, and finished off his Guinness.
