The figures were far too fast. They were out of Mike's reach before he could even get his sword ready to fire. They flashed inside the warehouse and the door slammed shut. Luckily, Mike's warning got through. Farley, Wilde, and Rufus looked up sharply in time to see four Indigo Rose Blazers facing them down. The battle was joined. The vines outside slowly began to subside as Rufus' focus was diverted.

Nathan took the opportunity, crawling up from where he had lain. But now he had a choice... he couldn't survive on his own, he'd already proved that to himself. He needed someone, he was too uncertain and too unprepared for whatever it was that he could accomplish. Were he not a Blazer, it would not have been a hesitancy. As it stood, though, he needed some ally. And this was his opportunity to prove himself.
He primed the Fire Mysticker, and stepped forward instead of back, preparing to assist as necessary.

Nathan, Wilde, Farley, and Rufus against 4 mysterious enemy Blazers from the powerful Indigo Rose organization. In classic style, Wilde attacked first, launching forward at an eye-popping, breakneck speed that would have caught the enemy off guard - if they hadn't been so skilled. One of them stepped forward and caught Wilde's downward claw slash with one hand, grabbing him about the wrist and throwing him back into the line of Blazers. It was aimed at Rufus and Farley, but they were both out of the way quickly enough that Wilde simply hit the aluminum wall of the warehouse with a BANG and left a dent. Rufus snaked some thorned vines out of the ground behind the opponent furthest back, lashing them at his throat and legs from behind. The enemy ducked easily, and a long blade emerged from his sleeve as he slashed the vines to bits. At the same time, Farley readied his own sword and charged forward, joined by an enraged Wilde.
Nathan, meanwhile, felt a strange mental pull that caused him to look down at his own palm. There gleamed his new Sticker, Medusa. He felt somehow drawn to it. Mike was free to move now. Those on the roof heard the commotion and made for the door.

Zane was on his way home from work when he passed the warehouse. He had always been curious about the warehouse, but never so much as to actually trespass onto the property. Nearly every day he walked by it, but he had never seen or heard anybody there, so he usually just ignored it. He did so today, as well. Or, so he had planned. When he was walking past the entrance, he heard a loud noise, and turned to look. When he entered, he saw vines attacking someone, which, he had to admit, was a bit freaky, but it wasn't the time for freaking out. Several people seemed to be engaged in a life-or-death struggle, and he did not like that one bit. In an extreme act of stupidity, Zane picked up a rock and chucked it at one of the Indigo Rose members. Only after he had thrown the rock did he realize how stupid it was to do so, and froze. Even if he didn't count the vines, these people still he weapons, and he had nothing. "I really should have thought this through better!"

At that moment, one of the Indigo Rose members that had been grappling with Farley had his attention distracted by a rock hitting him in the back. Instead of snapping Farley's arm like he had planned, he instead lost his grip and Farley went bouncing into the front yard. He was a few feet away from Zane. "Thanks," he muttered, then turned back to fight. He froze and did a double take. "Kid, are you a Blazer?" Farley was suddenly on guard, backing away in case this kid was going to try something. He clearly wasn't Indigo Rose, but that didn't mean much.

Zane was a little taken aback. He had heard tales about Blazers, of course, but he knew they were just myths. However, if Blazers were real, that would account for the vine. He was still a little doubtful, though. His confusion showed on his face as he stared at the man. "I don't believe so? Blazers aren't real, right?" He rose his hands up in protest as the stranger backed away from him and got ready for combat again. "Hey, hey! Don't kill me for trying to help!" Zane, also, took a couple steps back. He realized, once again, how stupid it was to join in the fight without knowing anything about either side.

Farley groaned. "Great, an unawakened kid! Just what we needed!" Wilde joined him in the lot, bouncing a lot and landing in a crumpled heap. The situation looked desperate. "Fine!" Farley growled. He opened his coat and pulled out an Ice 1 at random. "Here, kid," he said, throwing it to him. "Try not to die." He hit Wilde on the shoulder and the two of them dashed forward to join the fight.

Mike heard the fight going on inside and thought about going through the door, but realized the assailants probably expected him to do that. Instead he activated his ice mysticker and added spike to his palms and the front and bottom of his shoes. He climbed up to the window he had shot his warning through earlier, dissolved his spikes and re-summoned his sword. He looked down at the battle raging below. He was confused to see Guardian members fighting alongside his own group, but that only reassured to how big of a problem the people they were fighting had to be. He braced himself and then jumped down trying to land on top of the closest attacker, his sword aimed to go through the guy's head. Hopefully the surprise attack would give him some hope of at least injuring the guy.

Zane stared at the sticker in his hand. "A...Mysticker? What am I supposed to do with this?" He knew what was expected of him. He had been called a Blazer. Blazers had the ability to place Mystickers on their bodies. Zane frowned, unable to decide whether or not to wear it. On the one hand, it could do a lot of damage to him. On the other hand, he could potentially be a Blazer. That man had seemed pretty sure about it, and in Blazers did exist, then it would explain the vines. While he would have liked more time to think, he could not afford that. He could hear the fighting, and knew that he needed to act. Taking a deep breath, he slapped it onto his arm and dashed after Farley and Wilde.

One of the Indigo Roses whistled, and Mike's target slid easily out of the way. Mike's sword hit the ground just before the Rose's open palm hit Mike in the small of the back and sent him sprawling at Rufus' feet. "Mike," Rufus panted. "Nice to see you." He threw himself back into the fight.
Zane's focus granted him a high level of control for one so inexperienced. He felt it charging up as he ran.

"Not really, I think these guys followed me here. I didn't see them." He said whille standing up. He charged the nearest enemy swinging his sword, waiting until the most opportune time to use his serpent blade. He'd only be able to use it once before they knew his technique, so he wanted to make it count for all it was worth.

Mike's move would have been good, but the Indigo Roses were not on more skilled, but a better team. A Rose that had managed to disengage from Rufus blindsided Mike, catching him off-guard since his focus was on the other Rose. A kinetic punch hit him in the side of the head, and a sudden kinetic sweep knocked Mike on his back. A downward chop would from a Rose blade would have finished him off, but Rufus managed to block it with a large piece of wood that sprouted from the ground near Mike's head. Mike rolled away and stood near Rufus again.

"Thanks for the save." he said shaking his head a bit. He mind felt a little cloudy, but it wasn't too bad. He held his sword ready again this time deciding to watch them and wait for their attack, or at least a better opportunity for his own. He considered making a shield, but figured it'd slow him down too much. He did his best to keep them all in his sight waiting.

Zane wasn't sure quite certain what to do. He could feel the energy in his Mysticker, and now only held a small amount of doubt about the existence of Blazers, but he didn't know what he would be able to do, ability-wise. He wasn't exactly sure how the Mysticker worked, either. Still, he knew that he had to try something, so he concentrated hard on his arms. He thought that he could possibly coat them in ice and cover them in inch-sized spikes, expect at the elbow, where there would be one spike, that would be a few inches in length.
((I'm not sure if that's in his ability range or not.))

Mike saw a truly terrifying team of opponents. No openings, no apparent weaknesses.
Even as Zane thought it, he felt a strange fluctuation from the Sticker and what he had imagined happened. His arms were covered in spikes.
