If only the government would legalize marijuana and cocaine -- spend money on drug treatment instead of jails. Oh well I'm not holding my breath to see it happen.

It's weekend. Time to play.Do you have plans?

I'm gonna go to the country store and buy some jalapeno pepper plants. Maybe do some manly bean trellis building.

Tonight at 5:00 my gf and I are gonna watch a sci fi movie -- Thor: Hammer of the Gods. It sounds like it'll be corny and over the top.

Relay for Life sounds like a fun and worthwhile event.

Yup gf and I enjoyed the movie. It's the first time I watched a movie with someone hundreds of miles away. Instant messaging is truly a wondrous thing. We could "talk" about the movie without bothering other viewers or getting thrown out of the movie house. And we didn't have to pay a high price for snacks. I'm a cheep date. lol

I hope you're enjoying your Sunday.

It's amazing how long it's taking to get a cure for cancer. I guess it's complicated. I hear there's a vaccine for testicular cancer. Not sure if it's approved or just in clinical trials.

3nodding There are so many kinds of Cncer it may be a while et before theres a cure for all of them.

I have heard about the Injection for Test. Cancer thats good at least we have one more way to combat it now.

It seems like it is a slow process to finding cures for all of these kinds of Cancers.

Cancer research seems slow. But when I think about what science has done in the last 50 years I'm in awe. I've been watching old episodes of Law and Order. And new CSI. What difference.

DNA testing was so new during L&O. The did blood tests, not cheek swabs like CSI (now). L&O took days to get results back. In CSI it takes only hours. Now we have PCR -- replicating techniques, so one drop of blood is enough to get results instead of a test tube full.

Yes, a lot of forensics have changed in only the last few years. So many things seemed impossible only 5 or so years ago now are a reality. biggrin

Getting back to amusement park rides -- for some reason I've always liked carousels. When I was a kid I'd nearly fall off the horse reaching for the brass ring and a free ride.

I like the music too

Here's the instrument that makes the music:

Thx, the music is awesome. ^8^

I do admit I like Carosels as well, and rides that go around like similarly. ^8^

Used to love a ride called "Flying Dragons" when we had a theam park near here.

Was very fun and it went up and down and reveresed and up and down. ^8^

Wow flying dragons sounds like fun.

I'm going out to the yard to play "Wheelbarrow Push." Hehe That's where I dig up a bunch of dirt, throw it in the wheelbarrow, push it to the other side of the yard, then dump it out.

I hope you're having a good weekend so far.

Fairly Good, been home with my parents and slept in a bit today. Been out today helping clear a Fence Row of brush and small trees. ^8^

I wish you luck in moving the dirt and accomplishing your task. ^8^
