Miller bit at his lower lip once more as Lauren started to cry again, "Itz not your faultz we never finalizedz it justz talkedz about itz a bitz." He gave her another hug and started to make his way towards the beach bar like she suggested. "I dunz know but I mightz have some fruitz in mah mini fridge in meh duplexz?" He wanted to avoid the the topic of Nita and Lauren, what could he do to help her really? He didn't know what to do in this case at all.

Miller smiled just a bit at the faucet comment, "You shouldn'tz feel bad boutz cryin, no one sayz you should." He offered a feathery arm for support before they started off to his duplex.

"Wellz, Awenz waz nice enough to letz me stay with herz when I didn'tz have no werez, and if youz not ready to movez yet you couldz stay with meh I guessz?"

Miller shrugged, "Itz your choicez, if it makez you feel betterz cry, if notz, well thatz up too youz." He tilted his head and gave a startled chipr at the couples comment, "No noz! Just friendz! She foundz me sleepinz in the cafateria and offerzed to take meh in. I hangz out with her sometimez and play videogamez with her to killz time."

He tilted his head, "Jordanz? He'z the dog guy withz the extra armz right? Tail problem can't getz it to sit stillz?"

What little flesh showed among the feathers on Miller's face turned a bright red as Lauren teased him about his quick response, after all he and Awen were really just friends after all and the thought of having nearly drowned in her duplex embarrassed him to no end.

"He keptz wagging hiz tail bout during littlez party while backz at the construction sitez, said he couldn'tz control it, might be becausez it'z new? Mah wingz did the same thing forz a while so he might not be too badz." he shrugged his jacket down off his back exposeing the wings which he promptly sent in to a rather spastic flittering as proof. "I thinkz they make me look likez a hunch backz..."

Miller laughed, "I guess thatz true indeed, I am a birdz man." He tsked at Lauren, "Guyz nightz out and I only wentz becauze I stummbled in tooz the party by mistakez." He punched her shoulder lightly, "I'll invitez you to the nextz party if I everz find onez." He chuckled again and let out a little chirp in response to her barking and purring comment, "And I tweetz like a tweety birdz."

Miller made a face, "Not mah choice! Liamh's ideaz!" He fluttered his wings about again before slipping his jacket back up. "You willz be I promisez!" He gave another little chirp and laughed nodding in agreement that Lauren would fit in right at home with the guys.

Miller glanced at Lauren and then at him self and shrugged, "If youz don't mindz over sized tshirts and shorts should be finez I guessz." He nodded at the last part again, "I couldz understand not wantingz to go backz there..."

He continued along the path keeping up the small talk, mostly filling Lauren in on the antics of Gaius and Marshall at the party and having Marshall tipped upside down before he left. When they finally arived Miller unlocked the door ushering her in, "Don't mindz the door with the dildoz... labs leftz it as a... 'giftz' after they fixed meh door."

Tommy crutched himself out of the woods slowly and on hurting hands. Dried blood was casually flaking itself off from his jaw, while it stayed mostly intact coating his chest. His wide eyes looked left and then right along the beach, his nose giving off an almost unrelenting stream of echolocation. As he crutched himself down the sandy stretch, blood dribbled from several gashes on his arms, and one which was crusting over on his forehead.

The bat-man had seen better days, in other words. It looked as if he got into a fight with something wild, by the looks over the scratches and wounds over his person. To add to his grisly presense, his shirt was nowhere to be seen, which showed off the multitude of scars he had accumulated over his time period here: 1X sharbite to his left shoulder, X6 claw marks from a red dragon over his back and other shoulder.

His heartrate quickened as his echolocation picked up a strangely familiar form off in the distance...human mind worked franitcally to try and gain control, but the bat-man still had its claws tight around his mind. He cautiously crutched closer.

As Lauren made her way closer to Tommy, the bat-man at first shied back...not sure what to make of her. The form was familiar in his mind though, the contours of her body created by reflecting soundwaves etched into his brain. He timidly stretched a wing/arm out and took a step to the side, glances at Lauren from one way and then another, all the while echolocating about him. He frowned slightly, trying to place a name to a face...it wasn't until she spoke however, that he was able to put a name to a voice. A large grin appeared over his maw, what few teeth he had left still red with blood.

"La...Lauren," he said slowly...and then chuckled, "Thought I'd have myself a drink on the town tonight." He seemed to find this strangely hilarious. His head perked up with a thought, "There's still some of it left out there! Not too old either...fresh, ya'know? Yeah...yeah...fresh. Can't stand that fridge s**t they give me any more, yeah? Tastes terrible...gotta eat fresh every now 'n then...but...but uh...ohyeah! It's still pretty much whole...I don't eat meat any more, yaknow."
