Kaen woke up, sunlight drifting across her face. Slowly, she got out of bed and made her way to the shower. BEfore she entered, she paused to look at the mirror to untangle her hair. "It's worse every time," she muttered to herself as she got the last of the knots out and stepped into the shower.

He was putting on the cape when he heard the crying of Acher, "AGH!!" he ran upstairs and to the room to pick him up, "You'll wake up mo--" it took him a while to meditate where was kaen, "Oh...let's spy on mommy then." he forgot about the pain as he moved the curtain a bit to spy on her.

She heard Acher start crying and sighed. "I finally had a moment to myself...." she sighed and bent to turn the water off. She heard a sound behind her and glanced towards the door. "K-Kai!" she yelped in surprise and slipped, landing on her tail.

"Oh no..."he tried helping her up while keeping Acher close, "I didn't know she would slip, or I wouldn't have looked...You okay?" he looked at the tail, "Do you need some help bathing?"

"I'm fine," she said, taking his hand and pushing herself up. "I was just about to get out actually." She reached for a towel and pulled it to her, noticing the discarded cape. "Where...you about to go somewhere?"

"Work. I made a quick stop to make sure Acher stopped crying," Acher started laughig when he saw his mother and made Kai lean forward, making Kai's mouth drop open. He moved out of the bathroom, "I'll wait for you out here..." he stared at the baby, "Why did you do that Acher....why~" he muttered as he sat down on the floor.

Kaen smiled as her boys left the shower so she could dry off. She partially closed the door so she could talk to Kai. "Yeah, I was going to come out to see what was wrong with him," she said as she finished and wrapped the towel around herself. "You've been gone so much, I guess he's just been missing you. I know I have been." SHe stepped out of the shower and put her housecoat on over the towel as she walked over to Kai and kissed him on the cheek.

"I'll try to see what I can do...maybe some work will be taken away from my hands. You see--GAH!" Acher was pulling himself away from Kai's hands to touch kaen. He mumbled something in angelic and then tried to explain in a very calm voice, "The...uh...demons and hunters are attacking deliveries now and the ones that have worked for a while and haven't died from an attack or let them take the packages get double work...double pay..."

"I see," she said quietly, reaching over to take Acher from Kai. "I'm just worried about you every time I wake up and you're not here....I keep having to remind myself that you being back isn't a dream..." She glanced up at Kai and smiled softly. "I hope they can reduce your work...if it's possible I mean..."

*Jad stumbled in the door again today, though this time he wasn't drunk... his knuckles were bleeding, and he was limping on his right leg* ey, good morning to you.... *his tail drug on the ground, and he seemed down still*

"I'll talk to the boss to see what he can do. Besides I have to leave early today to go the doctor..." he placed both hands on her face, "See? I'm alive. I won't leave you ever again."
Aki looked at him from outside, shot gun at hand. She cleared her throat to get his attention.
