Old Man KB Keep in mind, too, hockey is the only official sport where you can get into a fist fight and people don't really try and stop you. Tell that to any gridiron lineman from high school to the NFL. Any guy who plays as an offensive or defensive lineman outside of corners and ends are going to just spend every play knocking the s**t out of each other, and it's pretty much just part of the game so long as you quit once the play is over.

...Uh, okay.
But in football to my knowledge if you pull your helmets off and start punching each other in the face, you're probably going to have the game instantly halted and be facing charges.
In Hockey that's just a penalty, or maybe a suspension depending on the circumstances.

I think there's a difference between getting into a fist fight and just tackling each other cause it's literally part of the game.
Vizzle.

Wrestling is the hardest sport.
Probably after MMA, but I wonder if they practice as hard as high school and college wrestlers do.
Okay, I imagine football practices are pretty grueling, too.

The Vansin Looool. I saw you online. For a few moments. Why don't you PM me for now. Slow but steady. I just got back from work, I need some coffee if I want to be able to stay awake and get this done. I'll try and message you again when I hook up my external harddrive and use trillian instead of meebo.

MMA shouldn't be hard.
It gets hard when the fight day comes. When you know you're up against some dude that wants to rip your head off cause it's his food you're ******** with.

To clarify, I don't include MMA in "professional sports" because I don't think its considered a professional sport yet. I could be wrong, but the last time I heard about it it was sort of in the process of being accepted.

C. Fox I think there's a difference between getting into a fist fight and just tackling each other cause it's literally part of the game. Vizzle. Except that I just said I was pretty much talking about just that. Two lineman standing across from each other is essentially a fist fight. KB: No? You'd get suspended or a penalty in football too. That's all that happens. I've seen guys get unsportsmanlike conduct flags, and then be allowed to play a few downs later when the coach put them back in. The game would only stop to issue the penalty or suspension of said player, and then would resume.
