Ike had taken today off, spending a lot of his time in front of the TV watching the news. It had been a while since he'd caught up with the rest of the world and was interested to find Gabby as head news anchor for Hoenn TV. He twirled the GS Ball with this index finger like a basketball as he relaxed on the couch. It was nice not having to stand in the same position.
"-wo where arrested. No one was seriously injured." Gabby finished a report about an arson in Viridian City. Ike was barely paying attention as his mind was on Aqua's situation with Team Shadow. Gabby's next few words though made Ike lean forward. He stopped twirling the GS Ball and turned up the volume when a familiar face appeared within the picture in picture.
"Notorious ex-admin of the former Team Tsunami, Matthew Ushio, was apprehended by police officials in Dewford Town. Ushio had been caught along with four other ex-members of Team Tsunami dealing poached pokemon; all being water-types. He and the four grunts are now being held without bail and are expected to appear before court in the Pokemon League sometime later this week." she spoke to the camra. Ike leaned back in the couch with a very interested look on his face. He never knew what became of Matt and Shelly. He began to wonder if this means Shelly was still somewhere in hiding.

"Hey Sammy." Ike said, reentering the room. He didn't know if he was on Sammy's good side or not, so he kept his distance at first. Behind him flew by Celebi who zoomed around the room. It seemed it had made a full recovery from Shadow's imprisonments as it made twists and flips in the common room.

"Fine." Ike said, feeling the coldness. Celebi seemed oblivious though as it came across the unmissable dome window that peered into the ocean and fell mesmerized. Ike crossed his arms as he leaned against a wall. "You?"

Silence fell afterward. Ike looked back up and straightened his posture, bringing his hands to his pockets.
"Well, you wouldn't be the first." he told her. Ike then walked over to the couch and took a seat. "I heard Matt from Team Tsunami was arrested today." he said, looking down with a sigh. He brought a hand back to scratch the back of his head. "Hearing that makes me feel like we didn't do our job completely."

Ike leaned back in the couch and looked up at the ceiling. "Yeah but... think about all the pokemon out there who'd get mistreated from those crooks not put behind bars." he pointed out. Celebi came floating down on the other side of Sammy comically, holding it's feet all the way down until it reached the couch. Ike could tell Celebi was bored.
"Say... wanna time travel?" he said, bringing himself forward. He wanted so much for the rest of the team to experience it for themselves. Celebi looked up with hopes of actually getting to do something.

"Bii!" exclaimed Celebi with a large smile as it floated up to hug Sammy. It then floated backwards to wait.
"Oh, it's up to me now is it?" Ike joked with Celebi. "Well... we could go back a couple years and you could see what Team Aquos was like. Or... we could go to the future. I've never been there." he said. There were just so few options to choose from while they were at the HQ.

"Wait. That's a good point." Ike said. Celebi casted a small frown. "In the future we don't know who'll be here...or..." Ike rolled his eyes "If this place'll even be here. At least in the past we knew what went on." he pointed out.

"Hm... We could just time travel randomly to the past?" He thought out loud. By this time Celebi had taken a seat on the floor and rested its head on its arm, bored. "I mean, I don't ever remember me seeing us in the past... so maybe we'll never run into them?" he put out there. Time travel came with a ton of homework if nothing were to be changed in the past... if that's how time really worked.
