"Why not...oh, it's card blanch, right? I can use whatever technique I want?" The silver chain around her neck shone in the sunlight. With a sigh, she tucked it into her tank-top to avoid it being caught on any branches.
She felt odd without her hitai-ate on.

Of course, anything goes.
-=Neko untied the blank hitai-ate from around his neck, and tied it to his forehead, then sat on the fountain, facing the dojo=-
I'll give you fifteen minutes, then I start heading to the Mizu dojo.

"Yes-" Nami paused, the word sensei poised on her lips. "Neko." She managed. That would take some getting used to. With a quick glance of her surroundings, she immediately took to the trees in the direction of the Mizu grounds and Dojo.
After a few minutes in, she perched upon a branch and muttered a soft "Byakugan." Veins rose around her eyes and she quickly did a scan of the forest, gathering chakra into her hands.

-=Neko started whistling a cheerful tune as he looked up at the sky. He wondered what Nami was planning, but didn't think about it too much. He was still a little jolted that he actually had one of the best students the Hyuuga clan had to offer learning from him. He grinned gleefully, then wondered what he should teach her next as he waited for ten more minutes to pass=-

Nami continued to mold the chakra into her palms, thoughts separating themselves. She'd stopped halfway between the main dojo and the Mizu grounds. She knew Neko was skilled in everything but if water was the element he chose to teach, than he must be especially culpable. The last thing she wanted was to get him near the lake. Her water attacks were probably pitiful compared to his. That would give him an extra boost.
No, she'd stay where she was and wait for the time to be up.

-=Neko stood up and stretched a little before setting off into the forest. He put his hands in his pocket and walked at a liesurely pace, his eyes darting back and forth, looking for any obvious signs of traps as he made his way down the trail=-

With her Byakugan, Nami could see Neko strolling through the trees. Six Kunai sat in her lap, As he approached, she said in a clear voice "Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou!" And tossed the Kunai into the air as blue strands of Chakra escaped her palms and attached themselves to the end of each Kunai.
With precision only years of training could achieve, she shot all Kunai at breakneck speed so that they embedded themselves across several trees, creating a chakra net of sorts. She was positive that would only slow Neko down for a moment but it was a moment she needed as she too launched herself towards the ground, chakra now collecting itself in her fingertips.

-=Neko stopped abruptly, and looked up to Nami as she sped towards him. Only having time to flash the brifest of a smile, his chakra seems to spike up for a split-second as he disappears, only to reappear about ten feet back down the trail, still looking at Nami. Her Byakugan should reveal a small trail of chakra leading from where Neko was standig, to under his left foot. Neko took his right hand out of his pocket now, holding it loosely in front of his gut=-

Nami cursed, watching the trail of Chakra flicker and then disappear. She landed in a defensive position, eyes picking out each chakra point on Neko's body.
She watched his right hand with caution but carefully to keep all of her surroundings in account.
"Jyuuken!" She shouted suddenly rushing forwards. Her fingers outstretched and she felt a small thrill of triumph when she hit one of the chakra points, cutting off it's power.

-=Neko's hand closed around Nami's tightly. He yanked her forward and took out his left hand, and jutted it forward, attempting to pull Nami into an uppercut aimed at her gut=-

Cursing, Nami kicked off of the ground, flipping herself up and over him, but not able to break his hold. She aimed two more hits at his shoulders, effectively shutting down the chakra flow there as well but couldn't reach a third point behind his neck.

-=Neko let go of Nami, and seemed to disappear again, this time, appearing in the tree she started out of, rubbing his right shoulder a bit. The same trail of chakra could be seen leading from the spot he was standing, to just under his right foot=-
You're a little better than I expected.
Maybe I should stop toying with her...She could do some damage if she catches me off guard..

She supressed her grunt of frustration at the fact that he'd disappeared once again. She needed to be able to keep him in the same spot. Dammnit She knew she didn't have time to ponder. He was a master and already anticipating her next attack. His chakra was like a beacon to her activated eyes.
This is either going to work, or be the stupidest thing I could possibly do But right now I don't have time to think of a hundred different options. It would stop him from going anywhere but keep him in enough proximity to cause her a lot of harm.
"You're a little better than I expected." His voice floated down from the tree branch and she felt a small spike of pride. Don't get cocky A voice reminded her sternly. Right
"Shugo Hakke Rokujuuyonshou!" She shouted, shoving off from the ground. Her hands formed the signals in mid-air, Chakra spreading to the palms of her hands, just as she was about to reach the branch. She waved her arms in complicated patterns, strings of blue flying pell-mell, finally forming the semblance of a net. With a grunt, she stopped her ascention, once the net was over Neko's head and pushed herself back towards the ground, bringing him with her.
Once landed, they were encased in a 360 degree Chakra net. He wouldn't be able to get away now, but neither would she. Usually this technique was used as a defence, not offense.
