Felina shook her head at Oassu and grabbed hold of him to pull him further back from the edge "You need taking care of more than me"
Hayate sighed removing his glove, which now had a huge hole in from where the fiends acid had hit him. He walked over to Felina's larger barrier that surrounded them and tapped the side "you're getting stronger" he commented to Felina.
"You did good Zadina" Satoshi patted him on the head "We should keep going"

Oassu blushed "Hey I can take care of myself" he told Felina going over to Zadina and patting him on the head "Good boy Zadina"
Zadina brushed at all the praise "It was nothing really" he said walking onwards "The ground should be safe" he told Alpha as he walked onwards bumping into the edge of the bubble.
Itaka grinned "Looks like your going to have to be the leader Felina" he said. "So long as you can keep this barrier up this mission will be a cinch" he nodded with a snap of his fingers. He looked at an iron giant which pounded at the barrier and stuck his tongue out at it.
The villagers backed away from the controls and plopped the money and supplies down on the couch. Mari giggled at the sight of the scared villagers "So where's my room?" she asked.

Seph walked over to one side of the barrier and pulled a face at another malboro standing out side. She chuckled to see the fiend whack its head off the shield "Those stupid fiends still don't know whats hit them"
"You know, the only thing seperating you from them is that barrier. The more the fiends attack it the harder it will be for Felina to keep it up" Alpha warned Seph and Itaka
Hebal spent a moment watching the villagers until she was sure they weren't going to touch the buttons before turning back to Mari "I'll show you around follow me" she grabbed hold of Mari and took her into the main hallway "Unless people change rooms on the left we have Oassu, Felina and Zadina's room. Followed by the bathroom then Hayate's room. Straight down the hall is Alpha's room and on the right we have Itaka and Satoshi's room, Seph's room, chobi's stable and our room" she guided Mari through each of the rooms before finally coming to theirs.

Hayate went over to Itaka and sent a few sparks of light into his arm "It's for the acid sting."
Felina nodded walking in front. The bubble moved along slowly as the elf walked. "Please don't provoke the fiends and keep up." she instructed them.
"Aww but it's fun" Satoshi pouted and followed Felina deeper into the cave.

Itaka shuffled his feet a little and mumbled something that sounded like sorry to Felina before glaring at the giant and following her.
Oassu moved up beside Felina with a grin and a hug "Your doing great honey if you ever need a break just let us know and we'll have a little slicefest on these fiends." he told her.
Zadina frowned at Satoshi "Don't make things harder for cousin Felina!" he scolded her as he cast sleep on the fiend Satoshi had provoked.
Mari paused for a moment "So Itaka sleeps with Satoshi...while Seph sleeps alone?" she shook her head "oh well this is a very nice room" she said settling down on a bed "Thank you very much for sharing" she said with a bow "by the way who is Chobi?"

"Sorry about that Felina" Seph apologised turning away from the Malboro.
Alpha tutted at the others who had been provoking the fiends "We don't mind slashing down a few fiends if you want a rest." he thought for a moment, "what are the chances of the fiends breaking the barrier?"
Hebal nodded "The arrangements were made before Itaka and Seph... you know started bonding more but I guess he can always change rooms." She took Mari out the room and guided her two doors down "This is Chobi" she introduced opening the door to see the chocobo jumping up and down.

Felina quickly hugged Oassu back and held his hand. "I'll be ok if I keep moderate concentration. And thanks for listening you guys"
"No problem" Satoshi grunted turning away from a lupin that was snarling at her from the other side.
"The amount of nethicite is increasing so we must be getting further in" Hayate pointed out as the walls of the cave became increasingly covered in nethicite.

Itaka frowned "It's just as well we got these barriers some of these monsters are....unusual plus my arm feels a little funny around these crystals" he said looking out at an Iron Giant encrusted in gold nethicite armour.
Zadina shook his head rapidly "This is barbaric you can't use monsters like this as weapons..."
Oassu sighed "I guess we know the alignment of these ice ninja for sure now....I guess it is more than just a power source to them"
Mari squealed and starting jumping up and down with Chobi giving her a hug "She's gorgeous!!!" she cried as the villagers gathered round to look.

Seph went over and examined Itaka's arm "No surprise there. But at least you're not passing out this time" she went over to the wall to look at the crystals "Hard to belive these things can be so powerful"
Alpha scratched his head "It may not be just fiends they are using for weapons. They could be building some big powerful cannon"
Hebal watched Mari's actions with a look of amusement "Itaka gave her to Seph as a gift I think but she hasn't been fed since yesterday." She extended her hand into her pockets and pulled out some greens. Chobi hapilly accepted the food and gulped it down in seconds.

Felina sighed "It doesn't matter how they are making weapons. Its still wrong and it causes the fiends distress" she complained angrily.
"Why not ask them? Theres a few up ahead and around the corner" Satoshi informed them in a whisper.
Hayate frowned "Is there any chance of an ambush?"
Satoshi shook her head "They will be facing our direction. The only thing we can really do to surprise them is charge quickly into them"

Oassu hugged Felina "It's alright calm down...we'll make them pay." he said taking his pinwheel out and attaching chakra threads to it. "I could get the jump on them with this."
Itaka grinned "Hey it takes a lot to make me pass out but I'm totally down with that plan" he said cracking his knuckles.
Zadina bit his lip "Might they already know our prescence?"
Mari giggled "A bit extravagent for just a gift I think" she said feeding Chobi some greens.

"Then what are we waiting for" Seph asked them charging straight into the barrier "Oh yea I forgot about that" she rubbed her head.
Alpha laughed at seph's mistake then turned to Felina "could you please lower the barrier so that we can fight these ninja?"
Hebal shrugged "I don't think there was any other reason why he gave her to Seph. Do you get many chocobos in this area?" she asked while feeding Chobi some more greens. "We'll have to muck her out later before we fly off"

Felina frowned at Seph and let go of Oassu "You're ok aren't you? Just give me a minute and I'll dispel the barrier"
Hayate snickered "Great going Seph." he stood and waited for Felina's response.
Satoshi sighed and teleported out the barrier. She reappeared behind one of the ninja's and took off his head with her blade before he had the time to respond.
Felina sighed dispeling the barrier "There you go. The ninjas are all yours"

Itaka laughed at Seph "Ha....cute you seem to be getting a little light headed these days better watch or your reputation will suffer" he said charging round the corner after Satoshi.
A Chakra controlled pinwheel spiralled viciously after him curving round the corner and slicing into a ninja. Oassu smiled a little "Seph can be funny sometimes though she seems a little sidetracked lately."
Zadina poked Felina on the shoulder "Umm Felina..." he said pointing at the large nethicite infused creatures lumbering towards them from behind. He fired off a few blizzaga spells to hold them at bay.
Mari shook her head "All we breed around here are warhorses but" she stroked the beautiful coat "I'll need to ask Seph if she'll let me ride her at one point" Mari said cuddling Chobi.

Seph groaned "I told you I wasn't having a good day." She charged into the ninjas ahead and placed her sword straight through the stomach. The ninja disappeared from sight leaving nothing but a block of wood in front of Seph.
Alpha grabbed hold of the same ninja who had teleported behind Seph and knocked him out by smashing his head against the wall "Can't you block the way we just came?" he asked Felina upon noticing the fiends behind them.
Hebal frowned "Whats so special about warhorses? Chocobos can do the job so much better and travel further. Never mind I'm sure Seph will let you ride her"
