They were having a nice little father daughter moment weren't they? If anything, it was cute. But Kieran seemed equally tuned to Raziel, accomodating the fairy was well with a slight tilt of his head to the side. And a soft chuckle. "I'm sure they will be, after all it's just a little fried feathers. If not...well a little magic never hurt the healing process too much now did it? Besides...the winds of Andal are warm and that of Zephyrs...even the birds barely flap thier wings." Which meant of course Raziel could do some thermal gliding easily.
She had her eyes closed, listening to what they all were saying. Kieran and Raziel entertained with Andal, but Malik and Roarke...well Roarke was stepping outside the fortress decorating as she had deemed it. More into a business direction that was fore sure. And she half smirked lightly. Careful Malik...dont' forget yourself in your prone excitment to business ventures.

"Even better. hsi daughter seemed to have an...attachment to moonstone. but if the circle will work for everyone...I'll need three. one for the necro lab, one for everyone at the back, and one for the armory. the affect teh heat shields as well. then hmm. maybe a forth just for myself, piper and kieran at the vault. and how do we place teh webbings?"
Yes Malik was being careful. Piper was there he knew better. though he might have tried telepathy...but he coudln't do that without Malvolence. damn. thinking about it made his had twitch.

"Indeed, magic would not hurt. Will Fianna be interested to see me?" He was a tad curious to see how Andal would recieve him, though if they were anything like Keiran then he wouldn't make that much of an impression.
"Just draw a circle somewhere on the floor with chalk, making a twelve pointed star in the middle that stretches to the circles edges. PLace the stone in the middle for a moment, and it will activate the circle." He shrugged. "The stones do most of the work."

Kieran took on that thoughtful look for the moment. "Fianna would adore you, really." A soft chuckle. "She has a things for feathers..." Which caused a look down to his daughter...who seemed to share her mother's love for the objects, not to mention the namesake of both women. "Though the woman is hands on at times...hope you don't mind some handling on her part."
If her eyes had been open, she would of seen that twitch. But lucky for Malik they weren't eh? Because she would start getting defensive. It was funny really when she thought about it...she was a bit jealous of a sword...hm...was that pathetic in anyway? Then again it wasn't a normal sword really...

Eliot looked to Moon, she was clearly shaken, "Oh yes, I'll be all right, thank you Moon. I'm only worried, Warren saved my life not long ago." she picked up her tail and started to worry it.
Kat smiled even though She knew Onyx could not see it, she did as he wanted, and when she wuold finish it would litteraly look as if Onyx had dipped his feathers in blood. "I carve them out of cured wood, I like the look of it. I'm much better carving a shaps then a molds. Although I do use metal peices to go through the ear itself. I found the wood at home once, and then I learned how to speed up the process, it basicly turns the wood to stone while keeping its malipulative properties, it also becomes very light." She shook her head, barely feeling the weight of her many earings. In a few minutes she stepped back. "All finished! You can wash it off in an a couple of hours, use a rag to do so, don't touch it with your hands."

"So the stone activates the circle, and then that circle works only for that particular stone, correct? that woudl make it much easier to manage some things. though how to hide those stones so they aren't destoryed by someone or seen might be a slight issue but other than that it should be fine then for handling things. we'll get things redecortated, as it were. seems fairly simple."
Onyx swivled his ears to hear her, and looked down at hs wings.
"can I fly like this or will that just screw it all up? I mean if I have to fly I don't want to ruin all your work you know. that just wouldn't be very nice at all. and you did a good job. though I don't think I'd want wooden earrings. no offense...but I like metal."
His tail snaked up, entirely of it's own mind, and tried to worm it's way under Kat's shirt to play with those rings.

"Oh, a simple illusion spell. Or a simple light spell will hide the stones no problem. Yes, the stones are self sustaining. Handy, if I do say so myself." he rubbed his hands together. "Well then Malik, will there be anything else?"
Moonstone blinked, somewhat surprised. "He saved you? That sounds...unlike him. What happened?"
"I don't tihnk I have a problem with that...as long as she doesn't smother me, or more acuratly, crush me, I'll be fine."

Eliot smiled a little, she had realized it was not in Warrens' nature to be... kind... "I had been catpured... By the cloaked man. Morelle found me, she ran and got Warren, he carried me out..." Well that was basicly it, she didn't really want to talk about it to much, it hurt to think on it. she turned her head. "He was kind for a time..."
"Hmm... Flying might spread the dye around, you might want to wait for a bit." She shrugged her shoulders a little as she inspected her work to make sure it was perfect. "everybody has different tastes I'm not offended. Brass earings are easy enoguh to come bye and I could always try to make something, I love making stuff anyways."
Kat allowed Onyx's tail only part way up her shirt before she playfully batted it away.

He laughed again, hand still petting over Piper's hair. Those streaks did suit her. "She won't crush you. More likely to handle you as if you were glass than something more sturdy. I assure you that, my friend Raziel." A nod to nothing in particular. Yes, Raziel would certinally be enjoying himself in Andal, wouldn't he?
She looked half asleep, of course she wasn't because elves don't sleep. She was just really relaxed...always got that way when someone messed with her hair and considering she let few people get this close...it always did that do her. What was she supposed to be doing again? Right, making sure Malik wasn't going into work mode. So she opened an eye to watch him.

"Actually, Roarke..there will be one more thing, if you can aquire it. a blood sample from Alaran. My sword is imbude with the dragon fire from Tanundra..but I can give it Alaran's ice as well with a sample. not to mention perhaps use my necromancers to imbue a shield or my armor through her blood, with a dragon's essence."
Onyx nodded lightly, seemed to not notice what his tail was trying to do behind his back. when she batted it away, it tried a different tactic. it coudl play with those ring through her shirt! that woudl be fun! and that's exactly what it tried to do. Onyx's tail was more a flirt and skirt chaser than he was probably.
"So no flying for a bit, and then use a rag to wipe of teh excess stuff. this ain't so bad at all. and now that I feel better, I should be able to get the little wisps to look for Bode. I wonder if moonstone foudn anything."

Roarke looked worried. "Alaran's blood?" He didn't like the idea of how close he would have to get to Alaran to get her blood. Not only that, but he had to wait until she was begging to come back. He wasn't about to give in to the dragon. He rubbed the back fo his neck. "Well..ugh...gees...I can try...can't promiss when..." a bit of stuttering here.
"Oh. Good. Well, then maybe I'll have some fun telling her not treat me like a piece of crystal. But thena gain, a ladies touch might be nice." He shrugged. It wasn't a sexual reference at all. Actually he was going off the experiance of sitting in Piper's hand. that had been nice and comfotable. Delicate.
Moonstone patted Eliot on the back. "Ah, well then. He's an...okay wizard. from what we saw. But hey, I have to go see my brother. I'll see you later." he followed his brother's scent, and wasn't all to happy to smell Kat with him. And then he walked in on them. His eyes widened, the reserved Moon looking utterly shocked. "Onyx! The least you could do is behave yourself!" Refering to the the tail.

Oh well that got her attention, again she only looked half out of it. "I think not Malik D'vinn. Don't worry about blood for that sword Roarke...Malik's grounded from it anyway and he shouldn't be talking about it because if he continues, he won't be a happy elf much longer." She counted that as stress.

The drow looked upon the ancient building, and smiled wickedly. He strode towards it incogneto, and slowly opened the front door, one that was only locked while the children were sleeping. It was an inviting and calm entryway, with one woman sitting by the door to await any new arrivals. She looked at the drow, who to her eyes appeared as a surface elf with bronzed skin.
"Hello Good Elf, how-" Her voice broke when Tarathiel's disguise melted away infront of her, leaving his dark herietage for her to see. His amber eyes shined with the horrors of a thousand slain infants.
"Sorry about the disguise, don't want to draw too many awkward stares." He replied in a calm voice, a voice that hinted at the murder of countless victims. "Now, how many children are in this Orphanage?"
The woman fell to the ground, the vile taint of this intruder was not lost on her, she only wished that there was something she could do to spare the youngsters the carrnage tha twas surely to follow in this drow's wake. She looked at the wall behind Tarathiel, where the list of names was kept to keep track of the youths incase potential families came to adopt them, or work houses for strong young men to run the lines. The drow's head turned and quickly scaned the board, and smiled.
"Oh, I see that there are fifty five orphans located here..." His head rolled dangerously back towards the woman, "And I would guess that there are two nuns and one foreman." Resonable, that was the avarage employment of such a small orphanage. Tarathiel probably personally placed a few of the children here with his violent behaviour. "I guess you are about to get what you deserve, or moreso." The drow stalked towards the woman, his hands falling to his sides. The woman's fear caused her black out.
When she awoke, the smell of roasted flesg and several stong other smells assulted her senses. She looked about the small hovel that was used as a meeting place and eatery for the orphans, and saw to her amazement the most... Most...
The children were laughing. They were dining. They were eating good food...
The drow... Had brought food for the orphans to eat. A dark elf? An elf who sleeps in a pool of blood from a thousand virgins brought the children of this orphanage food.

Tanundra helped Meilikki back into the keep. He was growing ever more concerned for her health. While she denied any such problem to him, he knew she was not sleeping well anymore, and was eating little. He had instructed Iris to take note of the things Meilikki was eating and doing, and the soulless's reports were not comforting. At this rate, she would beome weak and vulnerable. He let go of her arm as they entered, since Meilikki knew her way around by this time. Imiddiatly, she went to her cuboards and started taking out things to start some potion or other. Preparing herself for her next visit. She was always keeping busy now, trying to exaughst herself into sleeping.

She held up a hand. "I know what your going to say. Just no."
He sighed. You are not preforming as well as...as before.
She set a fist on the counter, but the other to pinch the bridge of her nose. "I just...need some sleep."
Which you are getting. Why is that?
She dug back into her work. "No reason."

Diamond held the map over the table in the house being used as the current centre for the reclaimation of Lostagrace. In the time since he had 'convinced' a noble from the south to join with him in the reclaimation effort, he had gathered a large amount of intelligence which he combined with the information that he already knew.
First, if he was able to bring this city back to working order, he could probably request the hand of the queen should Jiscal take an unfortunate turn for the worst...
Secondly, should he succeed at this, he might even carve out his own kingdom. Or better, lordship so he could live in Deep Water and not care about defending such things, and leaving it in the hands of more capable men.
The map was a general outline of the city and the surronding region within the scale. Lines were drawn about the page marking the different known territories, and arrows pointed in the direction of confrentation. It was a very busy map.
Diamond had made a special note of the Kobold house, and the current number of the beasts was writen at forty five. That would change over time, given the abundance of food for the little goblins.
He ran his fingers over several of the smallest sections, who were remnents of some ancient nobility that have ceased to be important. They would join with little convincing, and a few of the local populations would be willing to have a more law abiding society take over, and the very few rich would appreachiate it too, as long as that wealth was not generated solely by less than noble means.
This opperation would require a larger contingent, which Diamond felt would be coming. One soldier was sent back to Jiscal as a messanger carrying a notice of Diamond's intent. A request for a legion was placed, or at least a garrison. Diamond knew that he would be luck to recieve a few dozen men, if that.
"Well, it seems we have few allies, and few resources. We can make this work because they will not work together to stop us. The more of them we bring down will cause the remenents to form an alliance. If we can strike decisive blows agains a few of the strongest factions, these theives, those murders, and the contingent of bandits in the centre, we should be able to cripple any resistance to the order. Soon enough, we will be more able to feed the resisidents."
