Quinn sighed and nodded, then took his seat again. "Sorry, I'm in a strange mood." he said, taking a deep breath and looking around the room. He looked at Mikey, then smiled. "Do you have time to sit with me?" he asked quietly, reaching over and holding his hand.

"It's quite alright, love.. and yes I have time to sit with you..." Mikey smiled and sat down on the stool beside Quinn, holding onto his hand still.

Po gulped down his coke and pushed himself up from the bar. Nodding shortly to Mikey he made his way to the door.

Quinn smiled a little wider and looked down at their hands. "I'm sorry I keep disappearing....I've been a bit busy lately...I'm trying to get a job." he looked at Mikey and sighed. "I haven't had much luck though. But I'm not giving up."

Erordia nodded lightly. "Space is always good. 'Tis why I like being outside so much, even more so while in the forest...though that's probably also because I'm a drow."
Ray began laughing again where she and Drake sat. The fighter didn't looked very amused as she went on. But the elf's laugh soon turned into just a warm smile, Drake unable to resist giving her a tiny smile back.
By this point, Diviana and Desiree had gotten up and were dancing on the dance floor. Desiree had been hoping there would be a larger turn out but she was just happy to be with her friend.
Tempest began laughing as well, Saber looking unhappy. She lightly poked at his ribs and he swated at her hand. After saying something unknown to all others, he sighed and shook his head, still looking grumpy.

"I always liked being outside at night.... just staring up at the stars... it's a good way to clear your head..." she nodded, crossing her legs and straightening out her dress.

Madison nodded,still smiling at her new accomplishment. She watched it dance for a few moments then extinguished it,seeing his worried expression.
No offense taken
She added,a little glader knowing she wouldn't be left alone just yet, despite her thought that it wouldn't bother her.
She smiled, a little better then without warning swung her arms over Yi Xian.

She said,releasing the embrace.
Actually I'd prefer a glass of orange juice or something I guess.
She said in both the direction of mikey and Yi Xaian.
Um so do people call you anything other then Yi Xian?
Madison added,remembering how Charlotte had started calling her Maddie.
A nickname was what she had said it was.

"No... I am simply Yi Xian, no one else." He quirked an eyebrow at her, not understanding her completely.
He wasn't familiar with nicnames or anything of the like, his little clan was strict about calling one by their given name and nothing else. A shock if one had heard the way that he and Odette had been tearing into one another earlier. A small smile passed over his features when he remembered the sea dragon and he chuckled into his drink.

I understand,a name is....personal. It is a way a person can register and understand another.
Madison smiled and took another sip of her juice.
She hoped she hadn't alarmed him with the embrace.
Yi Xian is a rather interesting name,do you know if it means anything?
She Pur her book back and instead practiced with her flame,this time concentrating on enlarging the flame. ~*~

Erordia nodded, remembering the time she'd first come out of the Underdark. It had been night time but the surface world was still very bright to her. It took a lot of time to be able to walk around during the day without getting her eyes burned out. "It is. The stars are still a bit bright for me so I often have to look at the dimmer ones. And certainly not the moon when it's half to full. Hurts badly."

The drow smiled lightly. "Darkvision is also another thing the aids to the brightness of them. But I'd rather much live on the surface rather than the Underdark."

"I can't imagine that it'd be real great in the underdark... I mean.. from what I understand, most drow aren't very friendly... personally I don't think I'd want to live with a bunch of them.... no offence or anything.. you're quite nice, but as you've said you're not like most drow..." she smiled, hoping she'd not offended her.
Lena smiled as the entered the star, pulling Shinji along with her.

Erordia shook her head, her silvery hair swaying. "None taken. I don't like them much myself. They're powerful and a force to be reconed with...but they're mean and power hungry...stuck up and obnoxious. The surface is so much nicer."
