I'm not going to hold my breath with GW; they care a whole lot more about their precious Space Marines than all of the other options available. Hell, I'm surprised they even did anything with the Tyranids. Unfortunately I went ahead and fixed the Cyclic Ion Blaster on my commander, cutting off the lower arm and attaching it to the elbow, just like how the Missile pods are for the Broadsides. I realize that was a bad idea, I know, but that should work fairly well for a Fusion Gun for that one squad. sweatdrop

He does have a point about GW mostly cares for Space Marines. Because lately they have been focusing on models of Space Marines. Reason easy are to use and for the kids to learn easier. It would be cool to have the XV-9 suits as plastic. I just don't like resin.

Every new codex gets a new load of miniatures, thinking anything else is rather silly. You can't push a book on its own, it needs models to go along with it. Tau will get their models to push the book and as Winnie mentioned, there will be a new Crisis Suit boxed set at the very least.

Yup. Mac and Winnie have it right on the head. The releases are padded along GW's glory boys, but there's good reason for that. GW makes more money on Marine models than they do on the entirety of their Fantasy line. That funding goes toward new and better models, new rules and more generally cool s**t.

Heh, no, sorry, not completely true; they are a company, thus pursue the bottom line far greater than making us happy. But I do see the point you're making, just wish their releases came in blocks, having three new Codexes and their accompanying figures. Then again, that makes too much sense for how slow they move...

You know, I thought every race had Titans: SM and CSM havin their Imperators and Warhounds and such, Orks with their Gargants, and so on. But I thought the Tau would make a pretty bad a** Titan, but then I guess they might hit a couple of trademarks because their's would look a lot like Gundams

Titans don't really fit the Tau methodology. Even their largest vehicles are designed in such a way where they can operate as a flexible part of a hunter cadre and be quickly mobile between target areas and inflict maximum damage without getting stuck in. Titans are a part of being stuck in and delivering massive, overwhelming force.
I rambled and didn't make a point. The point is that the tau aircraft -are- their titans.

Kusebia-san How big are their aircraft? The model for the Manta is two feet long by three feet wide. at that size it's hardly a miniature.

As much as I'd like to see Tau'va/Evangelion class titan, I understand Tau are committed to mobile warfare and therefore gunships suit them more...

I wonder if they make a suit that is similar to a gundam suit.
