Pegasus shrugged slightly and ran a hand through his hair. "Yes, I've noticed that a lot of others have their hair defying gravity. Prehaps I should change that? I could even get it dyed like Yugi-boy..."

Kira laughed "you look fine the way you are..." she stood up and headed twards the door "I'm going to the hospital to check on khalid and bakura.."

"Like I'm missing out on my life," Khalid snapped crossly. He didn't like it that Bakura was controlling him so often, and that he had no memories of what happened. "Which is what's happening." He looked like he was about to start hissing, and he was glaring harshly at Kira.

Khalid's anger faded into shock. "Who-- you mean Ryou-- but why-- If you--" He stuttered, completly taken by surprise. Then he shook his head violently. "No, Kira, I can't tell you. You want to bring Ryou back, right? I'm sorry, but I just can't tell you. How did you figure that I know how to bring a person back?"

"...ryou told me himself...You dont understand whats going on.Ryou's being tourtured by some shapeshifting demon WORSE than bakura.I have to get him out of there.And I'm going to find out one way or another." The Millennium eye glew slightly as if to emphasize her point.

Khalid's eyes narrowed slightly. "I see. Well, fine then. But I want you to seriously think about this, Kira! Mortal life only lasts so long, remember." He said, then sighed as he relaxed more onto the bed, closing his eyes. "Pretty much, it's a soul for another. The two souls exchanged have to be similar; you cannot have, say, Bakura sacrificing himself for Ryou. Ryou is a light being, while Bakura is dark. Well, they have to be close enough. If Ryou is being tortured, you say, you'll have to make a deal with that demon. Since that thing has probably already claimed rights on the boy with the Supreme Under Lord. Satan, pretty much. That makes things easier for you, since you wouldn't have to go down that far and speak to Satan yourself to make a deal. Usually you can offer your own soul to that being, but he might want to have other things. And it'll need time, to create a new body. But while that seems simple enough, you will need to be extremely strong, Kira. To go and make the deal with the demon, then to come back and wait while a body is being formed and other deals are being made down below, and then to drag Ryou's soul up to the mortal world and putting it back in his body. Unless you can borrow energy from somebody, you can't get enough. The Millennium Eye is far too weak." Khalid sighed heavily, since it had taken a bit out of him to water it down like that. "Kira, just don't do it. It's too much work, and the demon will make all kinds of loopholes in your agreement if you don't go through it properly."

Khalid snorted slightly, first wanting to deny this, but sighed again and reached out to Bakura. After a few moments he looked curiously up at Kira. "He doesn't seem to want to take over the body. He says, and I quote, 'If she wants to talk to me, I'm listening.' He can still hear and see anything I do."

"I suppose I owe you for that," Bakura said, abruptly taking control of the body. "I know how we can get to Ryou, but I haven't enough energy to contact with him, and even the both of us combined don't even have enough it'd take to get there. Unless you have some bright idea, you'll have to wait until Vadin wants to drag you back there to gloat."

Bakura rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "Atem's probably angry as hell at you. Besides, I doubt he'd have even enough power to do it either." His eyes narrowed as Khalid mumbled something like 'I told you so' from the back of his mind.
Bakura rubbed the back of his head, then repeated what Khalid had said to Kira. "With Ryou having all of that energy Vadin forced onto him, do you think he'd be able to, or should we just try to contact Vadin himself?"
