What did he say? He thought I was the most wonderful she-cat in NightClan? I? Me? Does he have bees in his brain?]
[Whether he did or not, I felt something strange, but beautiful inside my now twisted ribcage. It was that same feeling that I always had when I was with Eaglesoar; a little flicker of...something. The difference now was that same little flicker had evolved into a roaring flame, scorching my ice-cold heart and melting it away.]
[Before I knew it, I was staring at the handsome tom before me, pushing away every urge in my body to bury my face in his fur.]
I already look like an idiot...
"M-Me?" I laughed to release my nervousness and confusion. "Maybe you should go see Hauntedheart for whatever sickness that's ailing you."
Damn. Wrong thing to say. What happened to "thank you"? Now he's going to think I don't value his feelings. Ugh, I wish I could go slam my head against a tree.
"I-I mean, not that I'm ungrateful, i-it's just I, me, don't mix, affection, bees in your brain, EaglesoarIloveyou."
[I heard myself gasp loudly as I realized what I had just done. All of my feelings poured out in those three little words. I've unlocked my heart to someone that I'm almost certain will not return my feelings. The thing called my heart...I've cut it open for thousands to stab at. I can almost feel the blood gushing within me. Not only have I made myself weak, I've exposed myself to all kinds of taunts, ridicules, and jeers from the entire Clan. Not to mention that Eaglesoar will probably snort in disgust and walk away. What if he uses it only to hurt me? Great StarClan, what have I done?]
[In my shame and grief, I turned my face away from him, not knowing that it was the side with the scar. I put my tail across my mouth to keep me from babbling like a moron again, and pinned my ears against my head. I wanted to crawl inside myself, but since that wasn't physically possible, I turned around and hid in a bush.]
You're pathetic, Tigerfang! You've never hid from someone before! Now you're just sitting here like a helpless little kit waiting to die. Great. Now everybody has one more thing to laugh at.

Mudnose looked down at her dappled legs, then the one that still bore the bite mark she had given herself earlier. She sighed in a somewhat sad way. She wished that she could feel pain, now more than ever. The sickly sweet pain of a cut, a bite, a bruise, and the occasional feeling of heart break or the pain in the chest that her mother had told her about when her father died. She wished to feel all of this, just once. For the pain she could almost tell that Foxfur felt. She felt nothing those in her chest. No pain whatsoever.
Mudnose was suddenly aware of the drool that was on the edge of her chin, and she felt her fur warm in embaressment. She dropped the lizards and wiped it with her paw so she could speak. "Just talk to me if you need anything. 'Kay doll?" she meowed with a warm smile, hoping to cheer hmi up somewhat. She picked the lizards up once more, flicking him on his shoulder. She padded away in an exaggeratedly graceful way, smiling somewhat. Foxfur
NightClan//Deputy//Tough, Loyal, and Quiet.
[I watched the beautiful she-cat pad away, and I was momentarily distracted by her legs, as they seemed sort of...out of place. Were those cuts?
So what if they were? They're probably from bushes or something. And who knows, they're could be just her fur. Stop being nosey.
I shook my head]
"Alright Mudnose. Thanks!" I called after her.
[I picked up the rest of my prey and carried it back to camp, my jaws full of food. Laying it down in the pile, I grabbed a frog and headed over to the Shadowstone, settling down, and digging into my food]

[Hearing Tigerfang's response, Eaglesoar's only reaction was to stare blankly at the she-cat he loved, too busy registering the shock to say anything. He knew it. He had known it all along, his love for her was only one sided. What a mousebrain he was to even hope that it would be returned!]
[Then she said it. Those three words, did they really come from her mouth? Somehow it didn't register in his brain. She was a proud and strong she-cat, with no reason to want to be with a hideously scarred tom like himself. He knew that Tigerfang tried hard to hide her scarred face from him, but it never bothered him. For himself, there was no point trying to hide his scars, as they covered his entire body. Before he could say anything, however, Tigerfang had already turned away from him and tried to hide in a bush. Curse this, did he already ruin his only chance?]
Drat this, I'm just going to say it straight out. Whether she's going to think me crazy, or walk away from me in a huff, I don't care.
[The blood pounded in his ears as he heaved a great breath, before padding over to the hiding Tigerfang, his tail flicking from side to side uncertainly.]
"U-Uh, Tigerfang...I-I l-love you. I really do..."
[He said it, and he finally got it out of his chest. Why was he saying this anyway? He was a proud and tough warrior of Nightclan, and he couldn't succumb to soft feelings like this. [[Can't help it, Tigerfang and Eaglesoar are too cute! They have so much trouble with their feelings ^^ How adorable! *melts* I love how you two like drew it out, when normally, others would make their cats fall in love after like a week or two. I'm rooting for this relationship!!! <3 heart ]]

[She paused at the entrance and glanced toward Eaglesoar and Tigerfang. She felt her heart sink as she remembered how that used to be Foxclaw and her. Hauntedheart shook her head trying to shake the thought away. Why did she care all of the sudden? Before, she was fine with begin disliked and on her own, she had wanted it. Why was it, then, that all of all of a sudden did she want to feel like she had with Foxclaw? Why? Because you want to be loved again, you want to be special to some cat again, part of her said and Hauntedheart closed her eyes, refusing to look weak in front of the clan. She didn't need to be loved, she didn't! Although, no matter how many times she told herself that, she knew it was a lie. Part of her had always been longing for the same feeling she had had in her moons with Foxclaw. That warm feeling every time he was near, the adrenaline of sneaking out to see him, and the feeling of his pelt against hers. She wanted that again. Though, what tom would ever want to be like a cat like her? Mudnose smirked slightly, nodding. She set two of the lizards in the fresh-kill pile, and taking one for herself. She walked past Stonepaw's body, stopping for a second. She sighed sadly. She had never liked the she-cat, but it was still pretty sad to see the apprentice dead. So weak, vunerable.......and dirty.
Mudnose snorted slightly, and set her lizard down. She started cleaning up the she-cat's dead body, ignoring the terrible stench of Thunderpath clinging to her pelt.

[This time, I couldn't control myself. I buried my face in his fur, not caring about the scars or anything. The tom I loved, that I had opened my heart to, loved me back.]

So much death was coming from Nightclan. He noticed Mudnose there eating a lizard and padded over to her, carrying a starling from the fresh-kill pile. Brokensoul was silent for a moment, he felt mad and confused at the same time, but he didn't want to show it. He meowed to Mudnose.] "What do you think about all this death in Nightclan...how do you think it keeps happening?" Mudnose blinked, honestly not knowing what to say. She didn't feel any distinct feeling about it. Of course it sucked, but there was no pain to it. It was no surprise though. She didn't like Stonepaw.
The beautiful she-cat shrugged, keeping a bummed out facade up. "I-I don't know, but once I get my paws on whoever did this, I swear by StarClan-" she stopped convincingly, not stating anymore. She took a bite out of her lizard. She felt angry though now. Whatever was killing off her Clanmates was making Foxfur feel sad, and that was just annoying. She would have to face the....whatever it was in some sort of epic duel later, like the story of Firestar beating Scourge down, and ultimately win! Not now though.
