"Saraneth..." She sat down next to Kira, leaning against him and drawing her knees up to her chest, resting her half submerged chin on them. "... she was nicknamed Kestrel before she was ever an assassin... I've met her before, it's in some of my first memories after I awakened..." Rivera looked through her head, trying to grab at oldest of her scatterd, recent past. "Did I ever tell you that the first thing I can remember actually remembering without Kai telling me is being in trouble? I was in the middle of a gun duel and I had no idea how I got there. I got arrested for something I didn't know how it came to be and sent to a juvenile detention center. Kestrel was one of my inmates. She got arrested for a smiliar reason, because she was looking for her backpack and was forced to defend herself after getting caught in the middle of a gang fight. We worked together to keep the bigger girls from bullying us. They were there for a reason... drugs, fights, such and such." Rivera shook her head.

"To cut a long story short, I helped her escape, since she had to work to support her dad, who is disabled and has no idea where she was. I was going to escape with her, but a guard tried to stop us and I ended up killing the guard and got sent to an Asylum." With a sigh, she stopped talking in that bored tone and moved on to a more sincere voice. "She owes me two lives, but she has sworn in blood to Kleptos's orders as well. So I told her to pay me back with 6 favors. I used the first two for information so she wouldn't feel so indebted. I could've done the research myself..."

Rivera looked up into the sky, remembering when she and Kestrel still worked together. Rough times... but no dillemas. "I think she knows that too. She came here to find out if she can do anything useful instead."

"So... She owes you that much?" Kira asked a little surprised. It was interesting to find out more about Rivera's past. "So... She supports her father... She's just a seventeen year old girl who got forced into the life of an assassin... How tragic..." He said quietly, starting to feel guilty for the wound he gave her. He shook off the feeling, Rivera had told him not to hesitate in killing her, therefore he tried his best but was glad in the end that he only injured her instead.

"Oi! Ren! Don't kick your cousin in the water!" Kira shouted out. "Ren, the boy he kicked the other one in, was my star test partner..." He told her. "So that's why then..." He said quietly. "Well anyways I don't think we should let them stay alone by themselves or else sibling rivalry will kick in..." He muttered. He had never had a sibling, but Kuro was the closest thing he had, and their fights not exactly pretty. He stood and waded over towards them. "Ain't seen you since the star test Ren... How's life been treating you?" He asked good naturedly.

Rivera blinked a few time, completely confused. Siblings? Her half sisters were over thirteen years older than her. She had no idea what it was like to have one... Kai had been like her older brother, but then again, he acted more like a surrogate guardian. The emperor was often too busy to take care of fatherly things very often. She sparred with her dad or hunted at most, but other things, only her mother and Kai had time for. They all loved her, because she tried so hard to be herself, without restraints... she was the symbol of political freedom. But then, they saw her as a social outcast as well, shunned from commons for royalty, evaded in nobility for unfeminine behavior.

She wondered if siblings ever shared the strange bond between Kai and her? Kai was only two years older or so, may be three years, but he acted like an uncle or something. It was all quite strange. "Eh... hello..."

"Oi! KIRA!! How've you been mate?! I've been well enough..." Once again he used the shadows and disappeared into them. He came up a split-second later in a shadows behind Kira. "Sorry, didn't notice you here at first! So, again, how you been mate? Hello who are you?" Ren asked looking at the girl.

"OI!! Kira!! How've you been?!" The boy jumped out of the water and grabbed Ren by the hair. "You can't just start a conversation with someone and then suddenly switch to another person! Go talk to her!!" With that the boy threw Ren into the water towards Aia.

"It's nice to meet you too Aia! Energy! Can't get enough of it! Oh no... When morning rears it's ugly head I'm gonna be too tired to move... Anyways, how are you this fgine evening?" Ren asked, still tending to the hair Zigg had pulled when he threw him back.

Rivera blinked a few times again. "I'm ... eh... I'm Rivera... um... nice to meet you... I'm sure..." She wasn't so used to so much energy being tossed around. She, having so little of it, didn't use it at her descretion. Pacing herself was crucial to her survival. If she went through half an hour the way they seemed to whizz about, she could be certain to sleep for 30 hours, probably. She observed the girl and the other boy, blinking again. She blinked a lot when she was confused. Her eyes reflected the confusion in a very pale yellow-green.

"Oh, well its nice to meet all of you, and um try not to be so confused, its okay I feel much the same" she said to Rivera giving a nervous laugh. She blinked again but this time it was from being tired, she didn't mind much though as she dunked her head again and then came back up to wake herself up. She turned back to the two boys distracted by the feathers and then Ren's utter hyper attitude. To be quite honest she used to be hyper when she was a kid, though like most teenagers had grown out of it, part of her even missed it.
