"The libraries I know have the fiction at the front, near the computers. Ah, but I don't see any computers." She looked back up towards the top of the book case. She really didn't see any other way around it. After all, she was light enough not to disturb the shelves. "I'm, uh, going to go...." She found a ladder but it didn't quite go to the top. She took off her shoes and laid them neatly aside and began to go up the rungs one by one, being careful not to move the ladder which was on wheels of course.

Chiba ran over to the ladder to hold it for her, why the hell didn't he think of that idea, after all it was right there in front of him" he sighed as he watched her go up but as she reached the top he looked down so he didn't look up the girl school uniform" do be careful the last thing we need is you getting hurt with out us being able to get you to the hospital wing." he warned as he lay bellow.

"I'm going to be fine." Miyuki reassured him. Her sock slipped on the finely polished rung and she almost slipped but she moved on. She was used to that sort of thing... She went up as high as she could go on the ladder but she still wasn't at the top of the bookshelf. She grabbed the shelf and began climbing the rest of the way to the top. "See? I'm at the very top and I didn't fall." She smiled as she carefully stood up and looked around.

Chiba sighed as he watched her get to the top" i can see that i really hope you be careful though" he muttered as he kept his eyes upon her" you see anything, any way out or is it just a sea of shelves?"

All she saw was a sea of shelves. She spun around looking for the entrance or the computers or something.
"Ah!" Miyuki said. "I see it." She called down to him, pointing towards the opposite direction of where they'd been heading.

Chiba smiled as he pumped his fist into the sky" horray that is great now get down from there" he spoke as he moved about down bellow to collect his and her things." now all we have to do is travel through the maze"

Miyuki started climbing down the shelves, keeping her eyes on the direction they needed to be going instead of watching where she was going.
"They should have maps on all of the shelves." She commented.

"or at least road signs" he chuckled as he picked up the last of their stuff and waited, he began to realize if they do get to the front she might not want him to follow his heart slightly sunk at that thought.

Miyuki had reached the ladder by now. Such high shelves! She kept her focus on the direction they needed to go, looking at the titles of the books in that direction and the sequence of colors on the side they needed to go. She was very good at remembering sequences of things. But, when she got to the ladder her foot slipped.
"Kya!!" Miyuki let out a yelp as she fell. She curled herself into a small ball as she fell, keeping her back as straight as she could in that position. She'd fallen alot and knew how to fall without hurting herself to badly but it was a very high fall.

Chiba didn't think but just acted throwing what he held in his hands to the ground as h jumped to try and catch her only to miss her and haver her fall upon his back" owwwwwww" he whined as he felt her on top of him it felt like some one just hit him in the back with a sledge hammer" my god that is smarts"

Miyuki sat up sorely and manuevered out of the pile of books she'd brought down with her. One of the corners had hit her on the head. She sat next to Chiba as she rubbed the sore spot. Then her brain caught up with her and she looked down at Chiba and freaked.
"Ah! Yoshitoki-san! I'm so very sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to fall on you I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention I'm sorry it was my fault I'm so so sorry! Are you okay? Are you hurt! Oh! I'm so sorry!" Miyuki frantically flailed her hands around his body, not knowing what to do really. She felt his head, his back, his arms, his hands. Just trying to figure out how to help him if he was hurt.
"Oh! I'm so so sorry!" She apaologized again.

Chiba slowly rolled over a smile on his face" don't worry about me i'll be fine but I have to know are you ok?" he asked slowly pushing him self up. The pain shot through his body making him wince a little but he wasn't going to show that it hurt much, all he really cared about is that she was ok and happy" hey i was trying to catch you i just lunged to early" he laughed slightly trying to bluff that he was fine.

Miyuki nodded that she was fine, worry filled her eyes.
"Yoshitoki-san I fell on you! Are you sure you aren't hurt? Oh, I'm so very sorry! Where does it hurt?" She had not missed his wince of pain and it worried her even more when she heard the slight strain in his voice when he spoke. "Where does it hurt? What do I do? How do I help?" Miyuki's head was spinning with worry and confusion.

Chiba just smiled placint one finger over her lips" Miyu-san i am fine, i think it is only just a few bruised ribs nothing more" he placed his hand on his side moving it about till he found the rib inhaling deep as he touched it" It is a small price i had to pay to make sure you were safe"

Miyuki stopped talking and sat with her hands in her lap. "I'm safe." Her words were slightly slurred because the task of talking when someone is pressing their finger against your lips makes it very challenging to talk rightly.
