Kira nodded slighly but kept her eyes closed. She managed to ignore Kurri as he rubbed against her legs, wanting to be picked up. Finally the kitten leapt and climbed up her to rest on her head. Kira tensed for a second but other than that, remained still. I will do this... She thought to herself one last time.

"Are you ready?" he asked her as watched her concentrate. He didn't want her to rush. SHe need to be completely ready before she pushed herself to train. He didn't want her to have a weak mindset and get hurt. "Let me know if you need more time. You can have as much as you need." he told her with a kind smile.

Kira opened her eyes and gave him a determined smile. "Yes." She said with a slight nod. "I know I can do this!" Her tail swished back and forth behind her much faster than normal in her excitement but she ignored it.

"Alright then, prepare yourself." he told her as he stood up straight. "We're going to test your speed." he told her as he winked at her. "You're going to have to catch me. And believe me, that's not going to be an easy feat." he said with a smile. He knew that this was going to be fun and a good form of training. "You will have no time limit, but, You may grow to tired before you ever do catch me so try your hardest and as long as you give your best, then you'll be ok." he said as he stood there in a lax position. But every muscle in his body was ready to shot off like a spring once she made her move.

Kira's face broke into a smile. "Ok!" She said excitedly. She scooped Kurri off of her head so he wouldn't be able to fall off while she was moving. She put the protesting cat on the ground and crouched in front of him. "Ok now, please stay here and out of the way, alright?" Kira smiled as she cat meowed softly and sat against the wall, watching them both. Kira then stood and faced Shadow. She bounced lightly on her feet. "Ready when you are." She said quietly, her face growing serious but she couldn't keep the smile from showing.

Watching her put Kurri down and talk to him in such a kind voice made Shadow realize just ho kind Kira was. But he banished this thought and nodded at her. "I'm ready. Just start whenever. I'll be prepared, don't you worry." he said as he scratched his back. He knew that she'd have to work hard inorder to stand a chance.

"Ok...." Kira said, starting to grow nervous again. She shook her head and quickly the smile returned. She glanced one last time at Kurri to see him still sitting obidiently by the wall before looking back as Shadow and nodding. Kira resisted the urge to cry out "now" before lurching suddenly forward, heading straight towards him.

Seeing Kira jump straight at him made Shadow smile.That won't work he thought to himself as he waited for her to right infront of him. He then moved to the side. And almost instantly, the girl flew by him. "You need to reax more. I can tell were you're going before you even move. Don't lean or anything. Just let your moves come to you as you use them." he said as he smiled. "But it was a good try. You're quicker then I thought." he told her as he readied himslef once more."Now try again, but thin before you move."

Kira froze in place as she passed him, pouting slightly with the fact he had dodged so easily. "Ok..." She said, pushing her hair out of her face. She came at him again, this time moving in random lines. She darted left for a moment before spinning to the right and jumped to the left at the last second hoping it would at least be closer.

"Better, he said as he watched her move in the zigg-zagg formation. He knew that she was taking to long of a stride and that she would come from the left seeing as she started from that direction. But she moved faster the he thought she would and he had to flip forwards over her to aviod being causght. "Well, you're very quick. ANd don't feel bad. I'm just doing what I've trained to do for so long. You should feel good. No one has ever gotten so close this quickly." he told her as he took of his over shirt. As i hit the ground. There was a thud. "Weighted clothing, makes the body faster when removed" he said as he smiled at her. "Now again."

Kira smiled at the compliment but winced as the weighted clothes hit the ground. She stared from it to Shadow and then to herself. She was in a tshirt and cargo pants with bare feet. I don't have clothes to loose to make me faster. I'll have to get more serious... She frowned to herself and stared at him, bouncing lightly on her feet. Suddenly she shot forward again, going from right to left until she was almost to him. Next she leapt high into the air and landed behind him, leaping at him as soon as her feet next hit the ground.

Shadow watched Kira move and smiled as he noticed her kick up effort. And he knew that he would still have to be careful She was a quick thinker and could change direction on a dime.
He watched as she charged at him and then jumped over him. He didn't turn around and just waited for the signal that he needed. He heared the sound of her shirt as she landed and then sprung at him. He waited a moment and then jumped to the side. He moved quicly, but he had estimated the time wrong by a fraction of a second. ANd as he moved, her body collided with his. "Good job. Your quick thinking has caused me to slip up." he said with a smile as he helped her up to her feet.
"But now that you've caught me while I was standing in one place, you must now catch me while I am moving around." he said as he crouched down. "Let me know when you're ready and have your breath back and we'll begin." he told her as he scratched Kurri's ears and then began to strech. This was going to be fun. He'd be able to help her the best way he could if they were both moving.

Kira grinned with her accomplishment and pet Kurri softly as well. "Moving now?" she thought aloud as she unstrapped her sword from her waist. She had forgotten to take it off. ((Hehe, I had forgotten she was wearing it ^^')) She set it beside the kitten and smiled. "Watch this for me, ok?" She asked before taking a deep breath and standing to face Shadow, bouncing lightly with anticipation. She nodded slightly. "Ok, I'm ready."

" Ok, lets do this." he said as he crouched low and then shot off like a bullet, he would go slow at first and the increase his speed as he went. "Come on, you've got to move faster then that if you want to catch me." he shouted back as he stopped at the wall across the room in a second. This was him moving slowly. He could have done it before she blinked. "Let me see you use that wold demon blood in you. It should help if you use that power. That should make you fast enough." he said as he shot right back at her and then jumped up into the air and sailed over her.
He enjoyed the wind rushing past his face, so he kept running, and the jumping up on the they walls and pushing off just to head off in another direction at great speeds.

Kira stared at him in a slight shock as she watched his movements. Wow... I haven't been serious in a long time it seems... She closed her eyes and listened to him move. She leapt towards the wall a bit too late as he was already moving away again. Following his example, she too pushed off the wall so she'd be able to sprint quickly after.
