Riten ran forward to Jenifer. He looked up at Ranque and, to his surprise, began begging to the ten-year-old.

Air's blade crackled with lightning, which he shot out in bursts at the man, hiding a kunai in the flash of blue lightning with a rope attached, combining Raiden's gift from a technique he copied from Scorpion, hoping to trap the man's arms.

Air smirked, jumping to the side and spinning his body so the two ropes intertwined. Using the two connections, he shot the lightning forward to electrocute the man's hand, then charged a Lin Kuei Wind Blast, similar to Sub Zero's freeze. As he whipped the ropes around to cut off the man's path of escape, he shot a big ball of wind at his legs to trip him.

He he continue to let out rope from his hand till the rope touched the groun and the electricity was gone. "Get over here!" The ropes came fling back at him. He grabbed the other one and through it into the wind. The rope was thick enough to shield him from the blast. "I see your skilled. Why don't you join me."

Riten's eyes flashed to the battle momentarily, then back to Ranque.
"Come on, kid!"
"Alright, but if I do it wrong ... "
"It will no worse if you didn't anything," snapped Ratin untruthfully.
Ranque shrugged and knelt next to the dying woman. He muttered in an ancient language until (to Ratin's eyes at least) he glowed. He placed his hand over the wound and it stopped bleeding, though it was still open.
"There," said the kid, looking much more mature, not to mention exaushted. "Now it should heal properly. Now I think I'll take a nap."
And he slumped over and fell asleep. Healing magic was far more draining than any other.

"Join you?" Air wondered for a second, temporarily pausing. The ice around his shoulder began to squeeze it harshly, and cut him somewhat. "Don't even think about it...." Frost's voice called out to him, gently pushing the ice into his arm more.
Air shook his head. "I'm Lin Kuei...loyal to my clan. I'm not going to let you, Shao Khan, or anyone else get in the way of destroying Noob Saibot." He said, as his eyes glowed blue and he held his sword behind him.

Besides, the gods would look unfavorably upon Earthrealm if I was to join you." Air said, his eyes narrowing as he raised his blade. "You have no idea how much I carry on these two shoulders."

Ranque was asleep, Jennifer had pass out, Chris was worrying over her, and the rest were busy fighting. Now was the time.
Praying that Chris wasn't aware enough to see, Riten thought of his destination. He focus all of his mind upon creating the portal until he glowed and a silvery, flowing orb appeared ... and grew - and vanished without a noise.
Riten breathed heavily. It wasn't nearly as exaushting as healing, but to attempt another portal then would be to risk breaking his mind. He would have to wait ...

(( WHOA WHOA, SLOW DOWN FOR A MINUTE EVERYONE. I barely got on and here i am confused as to whats happened.))
As Chris worried over Jennifer who had passed out, Chris thought that he heard Riten leave for somewhere but didnt bother to check. He was more worried about Jennifer than anything else. Chris put his hands on top of Jennifers hands and began to silently cry to himself. Chris then thought, ' I dont know what i would do if she died. I would probably kill myself just to be with her. Dont die Jen, Please DONT DIE.'
