She shrugs. "I don't really know. I just seem to mess things up. Plus..." she stopped and then surprised herself by blurting out. "I got my angel wings and they are offering me my postition back on the council and I don't know if I should take it. It could be dangerous...I don't know what's going to happen to me...or to us. It's just confusing. I don't know what to do anymore. I'm not completely sure what's right and wrong anymore and what I should or shouldn't do." She sighed, holding back tears.
"I'm sorry, this isn't about me. I always seem to make it about me," she said more to herself than to him.

He looks up from the wet spot he made on her shoulder "What?! They did! I'm so proud of you!!!" He squeezes her very tight "as for whats right and whats wrong" he points to her heart "Let that decide for you, sometimes this" he points at her head "Can be very wrong..." He gives her another big hug "And you dont always make it about you, its just that you care so much about everyone else, that you forget about yourself half the time, you're a person too, you arent perfect, you have feeling too ya know?" all these words just come jumbling out of him "Let me tell you something missie I love you, and I'll always be there for you, and just know that if things get rough I'm here, I could never live with myself if you got hurt or even worse killed so I'll be right there next to you through thick and thin"

She nodded, smiling now. "I guess you're right. I don't know about that job with the council. I know it's what I've been wanting for a while, now I'm not so sure. I'll have to think about it." She grabbed his hands and looked at him. "Thanks...for everything." She thought about how they had met and how he seemed not to like her at first. She felt so strange because it felt so comfortable to just be with him, so easy, like it was meant to be. She smiled. "And Aramil...I love you too." She pulled him into a hug then, still thinking about what he had said.

"Remember how we met? Joy and her magic berry?" He chuckles "You weren't like other girls Jalie, there was something special about you, you are easy to talk to, and normally I'm well...rather afraid of girls, but not you" his eyes glaze over and he smiles "I really owe Joy something..."

She nodded and smiled. "I remember and I think we both owe Joy." She smiled and looked at him.
"You have made me forget about my worries...especially Vontae. I haven't seen him in a while, but I know now that anything I thought I felt is gone. Right now I'll I'm worried about with the council is how they react when ."I reject their offer." She smiled wider. "Being on the council in the position they've given means I have to choose mind over heart and they never like my decisions...even when I know I'm right. I don't want to have to do that again, it also means leaving here. I'm going to stay and angel, and help when needed, but for now...I want to be here...with you."

His eyes start to water and then hot tears stream down his face like a never ending waterfall "I dont know how to thank you....I mean you're giving up something you've always wanted just to be with me" hes to choked with tears to continue and just looks at her lovingly while still crying tears off joy

She shook her head. "Meeting you made me realize I didn't really want it. What I wanted was something to fill the emptiness in my heart and it seemed since I had been kicked out and betrayed by the man I loved that nothing would be able to. But I was wrong. I don't need any of it anymore. Vontae...well he could maybe end up being a friend, but we could never repair what we had and frankly I don't want to. Being friends with him sounds all right by me." She kissed Aramil's cheek as if kissing away his tears.

She walked into the dorm rooms, stumbling a bit. She made it up the stairs with Uwasa next to her. She walked up to their room and she took out her key and unlocked it. She opened up the door and led him inside. "There you go. Now you rest.." She smiled at him.

She then took a few steps back and sighed. "I guess its time for me to change back too..." She didnt want to but she knew she had to or too much energy would be drained. She put her arms over herself and she closed her eyes. There was a bright light and she suddenly went back to normal, wearing her usual clothes and all. She opened her eyes back up slowly and then fell on her bed. "Ugh..." She crawled under the covers and smiled over at Uwasa. "Good night..." She then slowly closed her eyes and went to sleep.

She slowly started to wake up, opening up her eyes slowly. She leaned up in her bed and rubbed her eyes. She was feeling really groggy and she had a massive headache. "Ugh..." She sighed and got out of bed. "Oh right, its Christmas!" She smiled and walked accross the room and to the door. She opened it up and then closed it and locked it. She walked out to the courtyard.
