Evander lowered his head to drink from the river. The water around his muzzle evaporated, but he was able to drink the water below the surface. He lifted his head and shook his head, snorting. He looked up and shining sun and almost cloudless sky. It was a gorgeous day. The sun seemed to be radiating off the water, making it sparkle. He suddenly felt very energized and decided to break loose and run for a while. "Ghost, I'm going for a quick run." He called over to him.

Ghost looked up at Evander. "Alright." He replied, before Evander turned tail and galloped off. He stood beside Kipcha, content to just stand in the warm sunlight, his wings folded neatly ontop of his back. He too lowered his head for a quick drink, his long black forelock falling in front of him. Once finished, he raised his head and nuzzled Kipcha. He then looked over at Kaine and laughed. "Having fun, Kaine?" He asked him, smiling. He looked over at Sepsis, glad to have her back, but decided to just let her be. He had smelled the scent of an unknown stallion on her when she arrived, so he figured she was now preganant, and decided to leave her to herself.

Evander ran as swiftly as a bullet fresh out of a gun, his wings folded tightly to his back. A trail of black mist followed behind him as his legs powerfully pounded upon the ground. He occassioanly would kick up his heels and kick out to the air, thrusting his wings out, blowing out flame just for the thrill of the heat on his face. He finally threw his hindlegs beneath him and slid to a halt, leaving a flaming trail behind him where he slid. He quickly stamped it out, not wanting to catch the plains on fire. He tossed his head and snorted, then began to trot the many miles he had covered back to the herd.

*Freebird watched Evander gallop ever so gracefully away, just like the beautiful fire that was his..She seemed to be aging quickly, she could not explain why. Months ago she was as agile as Casper, but he had also aged with many months though more nobely, he grew stronger while she grew weaker. Her coat had grayed around the face and her lower legs, around her groin and stomach as did strands of her mane and tail. She was not once what she used to be but death just seemed irrelevant to her, she denied death and never thought of it.*

*Dreamcloud wandered close to the jungle for some shade on her hot body and rubbed her sides against some thick trees there, holding her wings back. She glanced into the jungle and saw a glimpse of glowing light. At first she ignored it, but as she questioned her own mind, she again saw the light within the darkness.*

*It was alluring, like that of a fish's lit lure on the deep ocean floor, she looked back at the others, not worrying any over her, and obviously not having seen the light she saw, she creapt into the jungle, following the ight that began to take the form of something real.*

"Yeah this is fun" said Kaine while continuing to gallop around.

*Dreamcloud kept walking, her mane, tail and great wings being grabbed at by vines and treebranches. Casper only a meter or two away, but through the noisy jungle no one's footsteps could be heard. Dreamcloud followed the bright form ahead of her but the farther she walked the farther it became, too. Was it running away from her?*

Do not be afraid, little light...

*Her voice was heavanly, and she reached the last bit of darkness and spoke before peeking her head out.*

I will not ha-

*She emerged into the light of the beach and saw the light was nothing more than the purely white coat, that of a great white stallion.*

-oh...

*She walked cautiously to the stallion, his eyes had caught her attention. They were pink.

*He turned his head and touched her muzzle with his, her coat shone in the bright setting sun and casted long shadows of the two that creapt back into the jungle, where all shadows belonged.*

*Casper watched from behind the trees and vines and darkness, a feeling overwhelmed him and he charged out, baring his teeth*

Back off!!

*His voice had become deeper and even his most unsure steps strong.*

*The white stallion did not so much as take one step back, not even an inch, he had won many battles before and that against a 2-year-old would be no problem, his coat cast with scars and his twisting horn chipped from many a battles, he stepped forth, nudging the golden mare aside gently.*

You are but a colt..It would be foolish of you to challenge a grown and experianced stallion such as myself....With a horn, no doubt.

*Casper stood his ground.*

*The stallion reared, towering above the colt, and Casper did the same, still coming up short. The stallion danced on his hind legs, pinned his ears back and swung a hoof at Casper, knocking him to the ground.*

*The white stallion stood his ground, and Dreamcloud stood in shock.*

Your colt is fine, merely stunned I sapose...I did not even leave a bruise..I'm not looking for a fight, he came to me. This beach and half of the jungle is mine so if you'll kindly back down. You have no right to tell me where I stand here..The golden mare and the colt came to me.

*He stood looking down at her, and Casper tried to crawl out from under Diamond. He quickly learned his place and felt no need to say or do anything.*

Evander suddenly took flight while running, soaring into the air. He flew above the jungle, perfectly contented when he caught scent of Dreamcloud...and an unknown stallion. He snorted, flame billowing out of his nostrils, and plummeted downward towards her. He pulled up short and landed directly in front of the stallion. He saw Dreamcloud frozen stiff behind him. He snorted, his blood-red eyes ablaze. "Let...her...go.." He hissed.

Ghost snorted and tugged on Kipcha's forelock playfully, and chuckled. "Such as?" He replied, smiling.

*The white stallion snorted in fusteration, he looked back at the golden mare with a slight sigh and then at the firey stallion before him.*

Look, I'm not holding her as mine or anything...She came to me..You arent the first horse today to come along and tell me what to do. Before you it was a pushy white mare...

*He turned around to glance at the golden mare again and then again faced the angry stallion before him.*

It seems to me she came to this side of the island looking to get pregnant, perhaps the grass isn't greener on the other side. *He finished the sentance with a smirk, insulting the one before him.*

*Dreamcloud lightened up a bit and relaxed her stance. She walked along the beach and took a big wide turn around Evander and the white stallion, and went to stand next to Casper who had never taken Diamond's orders and was standing now.*

Kaine noticed evrey one was going toward Diamond. So he cantered after them. When he got there he was breathless. "Is she ok?" said Kaine.
