Since I haven't been officially sorted yet (yay for a being a House Elf!) I'll just answer these questions as one of my many original characters I use for RPG's in lieu of myself. (Since I never RP as myself) So, the first section will be filled out as if by my character and NOT me:
Name: Sasha Alexandrei Dashkov
Prefered House: Ravenclaw or Slytherin
Age: (depends on whether you automatically start out as a first year)
Personality: Loyal to those he feels worthy but indifferent to anyone else, artistically inclined, cynical, can be sarcastic as a defense mechanism but is rarely purposefully cruel, highly intelligent, sets high standards for everything (both his own work and others), perfectionist, pensive, relatively easy-going, honest to a fault (doesn't sugar coat anything)
Wand: 10 inches, Cypress, Essence of Thestral Tail Hair
Pet: A male, white Turkish Angora with one blue eye and one orange, named Demyan.
Favorite Class: Arithmancy or Ancient Runes
Favorite Book: Er...he's rather fond of any book he gets his hands on really. Unless of course it's written poorly or has inaccurate information within.
Anything Extra: Sasha is male, just so I don't confuse anyone. The name Sasha is actually a Russian name and yes, it is male in Russia.
and...I guess I'll answer the questions as myself as well just for the fun of it. These won't be used for any form of role-playing however:

When you get sorted you can get a wand from the Walloping Wand shop, otherwise you can just make it up.
