"God damned Jedi, you and your mystical ways, you're left out of the loop. Industrial Automotive has created a new machine, VapoDrop, that literally takes the water vapor in the air, condenses it, purifies it, and can distributize it via pipelines. The Advisory Council has agreed to grant the New Alderaani Alliance three of them if we choose to settle Tatooine. As for growing crops, we have no need, same as the rest of the population, they'd simply buy from local traders. And as for the previous leader dying, I know for a fact, Neb Wulf that you were responsible for him, and failed in it. And as a fact, I am not comfortable with you as my bodyguard, since for some reason I am needed to have one."

"For your information, senator, no matter how much water you put on this planet, it will never be anything more than a mere desert. There isn't a single ecologist in the entire galaxy in his right mind that won't tell you that the planet could never be less than 90% desert." Neb knew this was true, and pursued onward.
"Second, you need to learn a thing or two about your resources. Whereas I do not hold any "mystical beliefs". During this conversation we've had in the last 15 minutes, I have not refered to anything mystical except once, and that was merely a consolatory comment. If you wish to attack me on those, you deserve to be impeached, tried, and sentenced by your peers," Neb still pursued even further, his voice still growing confident, stable, and powerful than when he started.
"Third, you need not anything except look at the databanks to know that there is not one single thing you can do about the late senator. If you look at the time I recieved my transmission compared to the time of death, and the time of announcements placed on the news, it wouldn't have mattered if I had been there or not. The senator died 15 minutes before I was even contacted for the job. And on top of it, the appointed time of arrival that I was to meet in order to protect his eminence was two hours later. Thus, by the time I was required to be there, the senator would have already been dead for two and a half hours, and we all know how well anyone can defend a dead person from death. So as to that little statement, it contains no more power than me calling you alderaanian."
Neb took a small breath, but didn't allow the senator to speak yet. He wasn't about to finish with such a strong statement without even more arguement behind it.
"Lastly, my name is Neb Wulf. It hasn't always been that way. I haven't always been Jedi. You may search the records, but you will not find anything of the sorts of my history behind that of the Jedi. You see, senator, I may have been born on Correlia. You may find that I was inducted into the Jedi praxium later in my life. But do you know something? I am no Correlian. I am no jedi. Yet, somehow, I manage to be it. You see, if you were to really know who I am, you would find that you may be my leader, but I will not be your follower. As an Alderaanian, I do not need to accept you. I find that if you were to even comprehend one word that has come out of my mouth, you would set your anger aside, as unjust as it is, and listen to my council. Whether or not you actually take it is your own choice, but to be so unwise as to not listen to it, is nothing more than trying to be like Palpantine. Take heed, senator. You may not like me, nor I like you. But I'm stuck with you until you are dead, or you are no longer senator. I care not which it is, but I'll become my old self before I see my job and my judgement thrown into the wind by some pompous windbag of a fool who thinks that though he may have a determination of steel, a constitution of iron, and a lot of power take control over me when he can't even serve himself, much less than his own people. Now if you would calm down and understand the situation that you put yourself in, you would understand my point of view. Take this into consideration. As senator, your duty is to listen to your constituents, and moreso, try to achieve what they want you to do in their place. If you truely are a senator of the Alderaani, you'd listen to me and actually perform your duties." Neb finished with his normal, undeterred smile.
"Are you sure you don't want second breakfast?"

"are you done?"
A half smile creeped up on Phoenix's face.
"You promised me the reason you are guarding me, yet you fail to comply."

Sidon thanked the fool and quickly walked past as the two obviously argued. HE soon entered the cantina and saw his friends sitting at a table in the corner. There were 3 of them. "So you made it Brother." The Heavy weapons guy said.

"I thought it would be apparent. Firstly, the senate is itchy on the subject, mostly on losing yet another senator. So, they send me to protect their... investment. Some, such as the ones from Bespin, have been rumored to think that you're a bit naive, impulsive. You being one of the youngest senators ever to speak let them think this too. As for another reason, they believe that there is one person, an agressive force user, whose presence always seems to lurk around you, as they say "on the loose". I personally don't give a whoppin' hoot, as chances are that he's just some poor soul who needs guidance. I do feel sorry for him..." Neb trailed off, rememberance of things in his past not found in any record.
"Back to the topic though, are you going to call that scanning crew into the embassy, or should I?"

Angel began to wonder if it was truly the Force that helped her build her lightsaber, and then wondered if she could do anything to control it. She started to meditate, clearing her mind and trying to feel the Force. After some time of focus, she was able to feel it within herself, but could not begin to figure out how to control it in the slightest. After focusing on feeling it more, she soon found she could sense a hint of the dark side, as if far away. She could tell it was the Dark Lord. " Well, this is a start, I guess. At least now I know I can sense it, but only barely from others... " she thought. She then focused more to attempt to feel it stronger, but strained herself too much, and then couldn't sense it within herself anymore. " I suppose only the Dark Lord's training will let me feel it without having to strain myself so much. I only hope he can teach me how to use it... " She then rested for a while to recover from the strain.

The Jedi. They were everywhere. The so-called protectors of the galaxy. but who did they protect? who watched the watchmen? They started the Clone wars, they led the soldiers into battle, and one of their own was the Emperor's personal hitman. They use their sorcery to manipulate those around them so they can grasp more power for themselves. They were as bad as Hutts in Cale's eye. and his eye was the only one he cared to see things through. he sat on a Barstool in one of Mos Espa's many dives, trying to drink the memories away. but everytime he looked at the Tattoo on his forearm, he remembered, and the process began again. He had been used, suckered into a deal with the jedi, just like the others. but he had the benefit of experience. he knew what to expect. but they didn't they didn't have a clue. in his minds eye he saw that Red Blade, heard the demonic Hiss of the man's breathing gear, and saw the blade descend as they screamed in terror... he chugged down his fourth beer and ordered another.

Cale was drunk. he knew he was. he could tell because he was hearing that song, the song She always sang. it was an old song, almost as old as Coruscant itself. he could hear it more vividly than the memories of the red saber. it was comforting, to hear her voice, her sweet voice again: ...Never seen a bluer sky, yeah I can feel it reaching out, and moving closer. theres something 'bout blue... he let the tune ring in his head. let it play out in the theatre in his mind.
when the song had finished, he looked at his beer mug. he set it on the counter and pushed it awayfrom himself.

Phoenix sighed, knowing that he was beat.
"You're right."
He turned on the holocomm, and dialed the senate's operatior. The familiar face of Mysstra Jurrmilian popped up.
"Hello Senator, how may i help you?" her cool voice resounded on the table.
"Good afternoon Operator. I have a small problem, and I know you can help me with it. As you know, I am on Tatooine, with Jedi Knight Neb Wulf protecting me. Recently, I revieved a..uh..tip, that there would be a bombing at the Mos Espa embassy. I need a scanning crew sent there, and I would like to be connected to Mos Eisley embassy if you don't mind."
"Surely, Senator Feron."
Less than a minute later, Phoenix had confirmed a scan-squad to Mos Espa embassy.
"So..you know about Senator Jerone from Bespin, do you?" Phoenix said, turning towards the Jedi.

Tssirk approached what seemed like the hundredth cantina on the relatively short dirt street. How the citizens of this town had managed to survive economically on small farms, junk shops, and alcohol sales that seemed to make up the vast majority of local revenue was beyond him. He stepped into the relatively cool air of the earthen walls and scanned the small crowd, spotting his annoyingly elusive prey in the corner with 3 others. He made his way over.

"Unfortunately. It may seem wild, but I had to meet him multiple occasions. Rumors are the death of man, but as I said, he is one of the many who have doubts about you. In some ways, they are fully justified. I mean, you are impulsive, if by no other example this bomb threat. Most people would rather play it safe, send in professionals, and make sure there is none. You on the other hand wanted to play detective, and somehow, I was to be dragged into it, and to my knowledge, without a single clue on how you or I would have done anything useful. I'm surprized you haven't heard all the rumors flying around not just about you, but your entire faction. The head advisor to the ambassador from one of the planets, I cannot remember which, has a special hatred for you, though he is in no position to say much against you..."

"Blast..I kinda though that Jerone would have given it up. but I guess not. Unfortunately, I'll have to see him soon as the Outer Rim territorial conference is at Cloud City."
Phoenix gulped down the cafe that had suddenly appeared in front of him, most likely at some poiunt during the ranting.

"Oh joy. Chances are that talking with him will be just as fun as trying to convince the moisture farmers that you want their land..." Neb sighed, finally won himself that small bit of relaxation.

Angel had recovered enough from her strain on trying to make herself feel the Force so much, that she decided to try out her new saber. Going back inside, she asked the owner if there was any scrap he wouldn't care to get rid of. After being pointed to a specific junk pile outside, Angel went to it and looked it over. After a few minutes of setting some things up, she had made a few crude targets to hit. Taking out her saber, she lit it and took a battle stance, pausing to clear her mind for a moment, then begin to swing at her targets. After slashing 1 to pieces, she turned to another and repeated the process, but this time, trying to use as much skill as she had to not be merely swinging wildly. Although she was still just a beginner with lightsaber combat, she felt differently with her new saber. Perhaps how she made it had some effect on her, as if it was to be part of her. She did not understand, but knew something was odd. After destroying the last target she made, she put away her saber. Thinking of how differently it felt, she started to believe the Force she felt inside her before had something to do with it. Unable to determine for sure, she decided that only the Dark Lord could answer the many questions she had. " Come to think of it, he should have come to pick me up by now. Something must be holding him up. ... Maybe I should go to him instead... " Attempting again to feel the Force as before, she had gotten a feeling of a hint of the dark side. After figuring its general direction, she stopped to prevent another strain and headed off that way. After going some ways, she did it again, stopping once she felt it to prevent the strain, and felt it slightly stronger, as if she was coming closer. She continued on her way in this method.
