Name (IRL): Julri Bday: December 19th/February 25th (Don't ask...) Location: California Interests (aside from Queen): Music, drawing, reading, and all that good stuff Favorite Games: Staring at the ceiling and trying to find pictures in the paint Favorite member from Queen: Do I have to choose? Favorite Queen song: You have to love Bohemian Rhapsody. I Want To Break Free is also an amazing song, though. Queen phase started when... I was always aware of them, but I didn't really think about them till I was about nine. I was watching TV one day and there was a Freddie impersonator on this show wearing a yellow unitard and a bunch of feathers. I asked my dad about it and they said the guy was supposed to be like Freddie Mercury from Queen, and he mentions a few of their songs. A few years later right after my dad died, I started getting really into music. So, one day when I was looking for CDs to listen to, I came across Queen and I remembered that Freddie impersonator. I listened to the CD about a million times and fell in love with the band immediately. Misc: ninja

Well, hello there! A new member! i should send you a picture of my ceiling. i live in this old, crappy dorm, and there are subliminal messages in my ceiling. Last year, i lived in constant fear because the little dots kept telling me to kill my roommate. Don't listen to anything Soren DeGali tells you. He just wants to freak you out and make you think i'm weird or something. You should click on this link. It's about the best explanation i can offer for him. He's going through a lot of stress right now, what with the new baby and all...

Anyway, welcome Julri! Ignore my screen name and call me Torey.... biggrin Being called "Fairy" makes me feel like a flamboyant male. Which is why I think Popo continues to call me by it... .... I'm very bitter about the baby in the link Scara provided. stressed

Name (IRL): Nikki
Bday: January 29th, 1994
Location: United States
Interests (aside from Queen): Music in general, reading, writing stories and occasionally taking a stab at songs, drawing, and playing guitar.
Favorite Games: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Other favorite band(s): Green Day, Oingo Boingo, Jethro Tull, Sting
Favorite member from Queen: Probably Brian, because he's just such an awesome guitarist, and he wrote a lot of my favorite songs.
Favorite Queen song: The Prophet's Song
Queen phase started when...I asked my dad if Queen had any hits other than We Will Rock You. (Even as I type these words, I cringe at the blasphemy I had unwittingly comitted.) A few days later he picked me up from school, played Sheer Heart Attack along the way, and that was it. I was totally hooked on Queen. Now, nine albums later, I honestly think I am becoming obsessed. Obsessing sure is fun, though... mrgreen
Misc: Aside from Queen, I am quite fond of simple, "punky" music, such as The Clash, The Ramones, and Green Day. In fact, I go through year-to-2-year long obsessions pretty much constantly. In fifth grade, I was really into Star Wars. In the middle of sixth grade, I discovered music. (Specifically...Green Day. Don't hate me. Please.) And then, towards the end of seventh grade, I fell in love with Queen. I just had never heard music with that level of finesse, grandeur, and style...it blew my mind, to say the very least. And, uh...I like pie. And I like saying that I like pie. Random statements in general are a lot of fun for me, but I try to keep it toned-down where it isn't appropriate.

RL name: Anna Age: 20 Location: Poland Interests: music, poetry, writing, toys, '80s Favorite games: text adventures, (S)NES stuff like Shadowrun, Mario or Dizzy the egg series 3nodding I also enjoy playing Demise while listening to good music, it's such a relaxing game and it never ends! Other favorite bands: Led Zeppelin, Thin Lizzy and a bunch of classic/glam rock groups with a dab of industrial, metal, pop and whatnot... I also love many classical composers, but I don't think they fall under the "bands" category wink Favorite Queen member: Freddie, but Roger doesn't stay far behind. They stay very close in my mind in fact... Favorite Queen song: The March Of The Black Queen is my all time favorite, but I've got a lot of mood-dependent subfaves. E.g. there are some haunting songs I can only listen to when I'm cheerful, or else I'd end up in tears rolleyes Queen phase started when... I was a kid. I can still recall my phonetic renditions of their songs, back in the day when I didn't know a word in English xd So it had started on a purely musical level - then the lyrical one had followed and it was already too late to turn back and prevent obsession whee Misc: Ugh. I collect relics of the '80s, mostly toys. I also love dolls and probably spend more cash on doll clothes than on my own personal wardrobe whee I don't really like cats and I'm always afraid that Freddie wouldn't have liked me for that... Anyway, hello everybody - nice to meet you all biggrin
