Some random facts here...
the Flame Champion was seen more in action in another game... It was called OZ (Sword of Etheria). The hero there could equip a costume of the Flame champion and gives you the feeling you're playing as him. Same weapon too.
Sadly, that game didn't had a US NTSC release.

K i o K u n I use Emily all the time. I beef her up with Fury Rune and Killer xD So she's just as good as Juan, maybe better ninja Emily rocks!

Shi_Yatsu I think everyone here won that bet. I was in denial the whole time though... I hated the masked bishop so much I just kept yelling at the screen every time he appeared "You better not friggin be Luc you b*****d, if you are I swear I'll break the disc!" Then he took off his mask and my hatred of Suikoden 3 began... to grow bigger sweatdrop There are a few songs that I like a lot from Suikoden 3 ^^ Namely "Mysterious people" (Alma Kinan), the background for Mt. Hei-Tou>.<... thebackground music for the hideout was pretty good too. Great Hollow's background music makes you want to dance a little .... as for the rest it was soso but I like Mysterious People the most >.<

Sadly, that game didn't had a US NTSC release. *Cries* I want to learn more about the Flame Champion, Geddoe, and Wyatt.... when I played III Geddoe felt like a side story ..... most of my emotions where towards Hugo's and Chris' Story. Wyatt.... we barely get to see him before he dies and hands over his water rune! We couldn't even play the flame champion ....

Yeah, I felt kinda gypped that we didn't get to use him. I was expecting to since we got to enter his name in the beginning, then the old bat turns to you, says he's dead, and you see his stuff. That was not nice.

After playing this game a second time around, it really isn't as fun. It's still my favorite, but it's very plot-based and if you know what happens next, it kind of gets old pressing the buttons to make the text go away.
However, one advantage is that I can be better prepared for battles and I can train my SOD's better. I can also save more money on my Hugo game by not spending the majority of my money on Lulu like I did the first time. Oh Lulu! crying I still wish we could have kept him. After comparing them, I honestly think I would have used him. He's basically Hugo but with better magic and not as much power.

On my first game, I got pretty much everyone except the dog SODs. I got Koroku, but I didn't get anyone of the others. Honestly, if it wasn't for Luc's story, I wouldn't have bothered with those dogs. Wasn't one enough?

I just noticed that Thomas wasn't as bad of a fighter as I thought. His Level 11 sword increased his power by 50. It's still not great, but I definately under-estimated him.

Thomas and Cecile are really good fighters, if you really want to spend the time leveling them up.
I would have liked to hear more about Geddoe's story as well. He's been alive for a really long time. I'm sure he's been in other battles.

At first I thought the Flame Champion was Riou. XD But then I was six years old when Suiko2 came out, so I don't really remember anything about it. And I also thought Geddoe was Georg Prime.
