Psych grinned wildly as his hands closed on his axe and shield. It faded quickly however as he heard something break. It was only the work of a moment to spin around, his shield intercepting the vein. In another second he had his swords and was moving again. The swords belted to his legs quickly and he made ready for his next move. His eyes narrowed as he spotted Lyka.

Lyka looked at him with glazed eyes, the pain slowly fading away. She barely knew what she was looking at, let alone know how screwed she was at the moment.

Akashi nodded his head as he held her hand, bring it to his lips and kissing it. Then he opened the door for Dez, and let her walk out first.

Dez walked out the door, turing and waiting for Akashi, "A man of so many talents... able to withsand the sun... I say that goes in the record books." She laughed lightly.

Psych waited a moment more and then made his decision. He used the full brute force of his Basilisk blood, and heaved the desk at Forenthiel. A split second after throwing it, he darted forward, slinging Lyka over one shoulder, and darting back into the hallway. He ran a short way and then found what he wanted.
He lept up the wall, breaking through a grate and entering the ventilation system. He moved a short way and then set Lyka down. "You can save your own skin once you can move again. No one spills your blood but me..." He turned, and on all fours, started making his way deeper into the ventilation system. He may need to hide in the shafts for a while as the poison from the needles was flushed from his system.

Halfway home and Orb's gut turned to ice, "Psych!" She yelped and took off. Stupid, stupid, stupid! She berrated herself, he probably thinks your're just like everyone else! I totally forgot! She skidded to a halt. She stopped on the little balcony and scanned the dark, "Psych?" She hissed, "Psst! You still here?"

Psych had managed to get out of the complex, but he was in trouble now. The poison was not going well with his system. He could only think of one chance for survival. The girl from earlier that day. He could hardly tell what was going on or where he was headed, but somehow he found himself back at Orb's house. He heard her whisper his name, and collapsed, half his body falling in the underbrush, and the other half on the lawn. He was obviously not well.

Lyka sat there in a daze which faded only after Psych left, his voice ringing in her head.
You can save your own skin once you move again. No one spills your blood but me...
Her golden eyes, glowed for a moment as she broke free from the ice and began to move through the ventilation system as well, "Then there's no reason to thank you.." she murmured, the sounds of Watchers breaking into the system making her move faster.

"Then shall we find a better place?" Dez smiled grabbing his hand once more and walking quickly. A few turns changed the scenery before she opened a door and nodded for him to enter first.

"Once the first group of Watchers came into her office, they were shoocked to see the Lady of Lorindel trapped against the wall by her own desk. It took a few minutes for them to get her out, but even less time to back away from her as her eyes glowed.
"Shut down the ventilaiton systems, fill the sewers with Watchers and make the rooftops with Trackers if you have to, but don't come back until Psych's head is on a platter!" she snapped, the sounds of rapid footsteps fading as she moved towards her phone, "Bring that coniving artist to me.." she growled, hanging up immediately afterwards.
"Heads are going to roll for this..."

Kiko nodded and filed out with the rest of the group. Orders were orders and this one was dire. She let the others go for the vents as for her she was going to take a different approach to this. A much easier way.
