Terra looked around. 'We're still in the clearing...' she thought. Getting up for a drink in the stream, she noticed she was the only one awake, as well. 'Wow,' she thought, 'Well, yesterday was pretty tiring...'
Itsuki was the next one to wake up. Looking around, she noticed Terra was awake and Kyou and Rae were curled up against each other, fast asleep. "Morning, Terra," Itsuki whispered, not wanting to wake the others.

Rae shifted slightly in her sleep at the sound of voices, but stubbornly refused to wake up completely. She was too comfortable.

Terra looked at her brother and Rae, then back at Itsuki. "What would happen if we just left them here in that position?" She asked quietly.
Itsuki thought for a moment. "They would both get talked to by Loki, probably," she answered, just as quietly. "Let's go!"
Kyou woke up just as Itsuki and Terra were about to leave. "Don't you two dare," he said. He didn't move, though, for fear of waking up Rae. "Stay here, we don't know if her cold is gone or not."

Rae reluctantly opened one eye. "Trying to get me lectured, Itsuki?" She still didn't move, but yawned and checked how she was feeling. "Amazing what some warmer weather and sleep will do for you."

Kyou turned to Rae. "Are you feeling better, then?" He asked.
Itsuki looked on and laughed. "At this rate, you'll get lectured anyways, Rae."
Terra looked from Kyou to Rae. "Aww, how sweet..." she said, "but remember, there are kits around," she said, nodding.

Rae shot Itsuki a look. "Don't make me tell Loki about the sidetrip you took on our last scouting expedition to stare at fish in the river." She rolled her eyes at Terra and then look up at Kyou. She nodded and smiled. "Yes."

"Oh, fine..." Itsuki said, giving in, "No one needs to know about that..."
Terra laughed. "Let's just go back to the lake, then, you guys!" She exclaimed, walking into the forest with Itsuki telling her where to go.
Kyou looked back at Rae. "Well, let's go, then, I guess..." He said, awkwardly.

Rae grinned in triumph at Itsuki before getting up, feeling awkward as well. "...Yea." She followed slowly behind Itsuki and Terra, smiling softly.

Kyou looked ahead at his sister and Itsuki. He watched as they talked comfortably together. It seemed like the exact opposite for Rae and himself at the moment. It seemed like a complete awkward silence.

Rae decided it would be up to her to fish them out of the awkward silence. "You mentioned last night that you and Terra got into trouble sometimes? So I'm curious now; exactly what all did you two get yourselves into?"

"Well," Kyou started, "Terra has always been curious about anything. It's like she just has to know about some things. It's basically just her wandering around that has gotten us into trouble. She got us both stung by jellyfish, once."

Rae lifted an eyebrow in amusement, grinning at Terra's back. "Jellyfish? That's....Well, I won't lie, that's pretty entertaining." She smirked. "A couple of days ago, Itsuki was feeling bored on one of our scouting assignments, and heard the river a mile or so off. She practically dragged me down there, and became entranced with some fish swimming around. She got out on a rock in the middle of the river and ended up falling off." She shook her head.

Itsuki looked back at Rae and Kyou. "I thought we agreed no one needed to know about that!"
Terra looked bask as well. "How was I supposed to know that harmless looking jellyfish would be harmful?"
Kyou laughed. Then turning back at Terra, he said, "Maybe the 'harmless-looking' part?"

Rae smirked. "I think I deserved proper revenge for you trying to sneak off and secretly hoping Loki would find me!" She grinned. "Actually, he'd probably yell at you for leaving me."
