Zabuza shook his head. "I'm not that hungry." Truthfully, he was a bit hungry, but he wanted to keep Haku company. He figured he'd just head down to the teachers' lounge next period to eat. Standing up, he started to pick up the basketballs strewn about the floor, tossing them back into the bin.
Naruto sighed, leaning against the wall of the building and sliding down. It had been so easy for him to approach Sasuke before... why was it such a difficult task now? He opened the wrapper of his pop-tart, taking a bite.
Kakashi sat down on the opposite side of the couch, shrugging. "You were smiling like a little kid opening his Christmas presents."

Disturbing Tale Teller Deidara looked over at Sasori before nodding and quickly hopping off the desk, and out the door. "What's that, un...?" He asked, the thought of losing his job momentarily forgotten. His stomach gave a small grumble, adding to his forgetfulness. Lady Kiba After scarfing down his meager 'lunch', Zaku headed outside to enjoy the sunshine some more. He sat down under a different tree than the dark haired kid and once again pulled out his guitar to play. He didn't even notice the kid that was in the tree on the other side...

Chouji set aside his own utensils and snatched Shikamarus hand. "Hmm, it's not too deep so you won't need any stitches." He reached over and turned on the water and waited for it to warm up before dragging his friend over and shoving his hand under the water. "What was it you were saying? You wouldn't...?" he smiled at his friend and shook his head. "Keep your finger under the water. I'll get you a band-aid."

Haku watched for a moment before getting up and helping. He quickly swiped away the last ball that Zabuza had been about to bend over to get, and gave a small chuckle as he bounced it momentarily, and then headed towards the bin to put it away, all the while glancing back to see if the other male would try and steal it away from him.

Deidara looked hungrily at the container, now that he knew for positive that it held food. "I don't usually pack a lunch... I forget to, in the mornings, un..." He gave almost a too-cheerful shrug, before oh-so-conveniantly snaking his arm around the other male's waist. Either, it was to get to the food, or just for comfort.

Sasuke opened his eyes now, taking a look around him. Suddenly, he saw Naruto. Naruto was sitting right in sight... and he could see him. Sasuke could not take his eyes off him though... and just looked at him. He was compleatly unaware if Naruto was staring back or not, and cared a lot less. Naruto was just.... there was something about him.
Iruka unwrapped his sandwhich, and shrugged. "I am just happy... is it that strange and bizarre for me to look happy?" he asked, taking a bite out of the sandwhich now.
Shikamaru sighed as he was dragged over to the water, slightly blushing. "Fine..." he grumbled, keeping his hand under the water like Chouji told him too. "But it was a accident. I just wasn't paying attention." he retored, looking to Chouji. "Could have happened to anyone."

Zabuza smirked, looking up at Haku as he dribbled the ball away. Following after him, he snatched the ball while it was in mid-bounce, moving backwards to keep it away. All the while, he had a grin on his face; Haku was really the only person he could let loose around, now that he thought about it.

Haku smirked in return and shifted into an offensive position. He began moving forwards, swiping to get the ball away. Unfortunately, Zabuza had a great height advantage, and also moved easier, so it was a bit difficult to even reach the ball at all. He wasn't exactly skilled in basketball, either, even though he knew a bit more about it then most students, as he actually payed attention to everything Zabuza had taught them, in his prior year.

He pulled out a few things from the cupboard and brought them over to the sink. He opened the bottle of peroxide and put some one a cotton ball before reaching for Shikamarus hand. "Let me see it again." he looked at the cut to make sure that it was clean enough. "Shikamaru...this is really going to sting." Before the other boy had a chance to react, Chouji pressed the peroxide cotton ball over the wound and gently rubbed it.

Shikamaru looked at Chouji, one eyebrow up when he said "What do you me-" but before he could finish, he found out what Chouji ment by sting. He clenched his teeth, snarling a bit when it started to sting. He craked open one eye, looking at Chouji. "This hurts worse than the cut itself." he complained, trying to not pull away.

Zabuza bounced the ball, going easy but just barely keeping it out of Haku's reach. He chuckled slightly.
"Not really," Kakashi said, leaning back. "You just seemed to have something on your mind before."
Naruto glanced up at Sasuke, before quickly looking back down, noticing the he was staring right back at him. Maybe he'll come over here, instead... he thought to himself, but knew that that probably wasn't going to happen.

Deidara grinned cheerfully as he pulled Sasori a little closer. The redhead could shove him off at any time, he noted, but hoped he wouldn't.
Haku put on a game face as he tried to swipe the ball away and fell forwards. Catching himself, he got back up and tried again.
Finally, after a bit, he managed to get the ball away and grinned again as he began bouncing it towards the bin again.

Iruka looked over to Kakashi again, swollowing the bite of sandwhich and said "Naw, it was nothing. I just remembered I forgot to thank you and it was preying on my mind." he answered, going back to his sandwhich. Well... it was partially the truth. Not all of it.... close enough.
Sasuke found himself suddenly standing up, and walking towards Naruto. He couldn't help it... he was just drawn like a moth to a bright light. Once he was standing in front of Naruto, he cleared his throat, and looked down at him. "Hey.... I noticed you sitting alone... and...." he started. He could not finish it... so he just took a seat next to Naruto on the ground.
