Shadowsword...so pretty, so killy. To be fair, I've been hearing the buzz about the plastic Superheavy variants for a while. Heh, that stuff is gonna be fun to play around with.

Whoever wrote the blurb for the Stompa needs to be whipped for leaving out "(or possibly Mork)".

Yea, 3500 point game today.
Totally brill.
I took Calgar, and three squads of ten Honour Guard, all with Relic Blades, Masters of the Chapter, Sicarius with Command Squad, Tiguius and Cassius.
I was on the same side as a Gray Knight player, who had two squads of ten Knights, two squads of five termies, one with a Grand Master in, a Witch Hunter Inquisitor, two SoB squads of ten, and a engine thing.
We were against about seventy odd Chaos Marines, and about a hundred and fifty orks, with Thraka, two battle Wagons and four Dreads.
The battle was incredible, the first turn, the my forces and the Knights moved forward, not being able to shoot or Deep strike, which all the Knights were doing. The Chaos marines got the first kill by Krak launchering one of my Honour Guard, so we called down the Navy and my Bombardment destroyed a Wagon, seven orks, four Berzerkers and three Tank Busters.
So continuing on, the Chaos player had to leave, and the Ork player had basically been decimated so Thraka remained on two wounds and his guard of three Nobs, and a normal Trukk. Me and the Knight player some how decided to beat the crap out of each other, he had a squad of ten Knights left, four termies, with Brother Captain and a squad of five
Knights.
I came through quite untouched, although I was reduced to about twenty Honour Guard, and Tigurius had been killed while killing some Daemon Prince. So, the game came to a end, then we started arguing on who would have won if the game had continued.
Statistics.
Three Chapter Champions, with Relic Blades, yea S6 ignore armour, then the rest of the Guard had that, then Calgar on full wounds, and Cassius on full wounds.
So thats twenty Gray Knight Justicars, but with 2+ armour, then Calgar in termie armour, and a T6 Cassius, and he still claimed he would have won.
Not playing with him again....

There never should be a "who would have won?" question. Get it over with at the end of the game. Who killed more? That guy won. Anyways, a friend and I are finally starting our death world table. It'll be an 8' by 4', since that's what our Games Workshop uses, and we plan to donate it at some point after we're through with it. In dedication of this, we plan to play an Apocalypse game. Basically, it'll be my Chaos army of both Marines and Daemons versus Space Marines and Necrons. I might get an ally if they have more points, which they most likely do, so I'll just get my friend to play as his Tyranids as well. It won't be for a while, so I have the time to collect the rest of the Chaos Daemons, since all I have right now is a unit of Bloodletters to bolster the Berzerkers. I have about 2000 points now, but by the time of the battle, I should have another 1000, most likely. Either way, we have the 3000 points of Tyranids, too. They'll have about 1500-2000 points of Space Marines and 2500 points of Necrons, probably more. We're going to even the points before we play, obviously. So, what are my chances, just by point values, of having fun? 100% biggrin Chances of winning? I'm asking you. And I float upon a shallow bay

Eh, I seriously prefer the way that the current standard in Brass Scorpions look, that being with their design from a chain of Defilers. The claws look pretty sweet, and the Mawcannon is alright.
