The woman grinned broadly at the man, another chuckle escaping her lips. "Your kindness is quite extensive," she noted out loud, looking to where Aphismet had indicated.

She saw the boy picking up a plushie, chatting amicably with Chloe. "He seems to be the independent type!" Alex watched the boy moving with deliberate consideration, as if the crutches weren't so much a hinderance as much as they were an extention of himself. "What a diverse family," she commented, turning to look back at Aphismet. "A full house! I bet you guys have a lot of fun together." She was being mindful of being over-excited, especially around the Raevans. Her good intentions had already caused one problem, she didn't want to repeat that again.

Zoe rolled his head backwards to observe the black and red Raevan, much as Alex had been doing with Chloe and the Gwee earlier. Now HE looked sad! Lorenzo wondered why everyone looked so sad at such a happy place. The Gwee knew no bias, and was pleased when the Raevan put his hand on the little dragon's head. He rubbed into the red and black one's palm like a cat, trying to bring some comfort to the distressed male. Remembering that he had a piece of candy in his claws, he offered it up to the Raevan, not sure if he was even paying attention or not.

Delighted, Isi happily took the doll and hugged it to his chest as the lab coat was draped around his shoulders. Looking up gratefully at Chloe, the boy smiled and said, "Thanks a lot, Chloe! Aww, the plushie's adorable. I'm sure Eiry's going to love it! How are you doing? Are Roux? Is he doing better?" The last time he had heard of the icy frei was when Chloe came over to drop off get well notes.

Frowning and looking sad for Roux, Eiry wibble wobbled floated closer and laced his arms around the icy frei. At first he was startled by the coldness, but he didn't let it bother him. Usually when he felt sad, Rivener would give him a hug like this. Perhaps it would make her feel better, too?

Roux shook his head, pushing Eiry away, though not roughly, backing away as rapidly as he could. He held up his hands as though to fend the other Frei off, shaking his head.

His head bowed.

What was this, what was this, it made him want to scream! Or lash out. Or... or..

"No." He looked up, glancing to either side almost frantically, voice raising in pitch. "No!" His expression twisted into one of anguish... he'd pushed Rivener away rather hard.. he still wasn't back.

His eyes burnt, his throat felt tight.

A droplet of water formed at the corner of each eye, catching on his long lashes before crystalizing into ice. They hung a moment before falling, catching the light for just an instant before becoming lost in the snow and ice on the ground.

"Where delicious good yes."


Chloe gave a small smile down at Isi, chuckling as he asked her as many things as was able, it seemed. "I-I'm good... a-and Roux is.." She glanced up to check on her Raeven. He was turned away, so she couldn't exactly see as he ran the full gauntlet of emotions.. or so it seemed. "I-I think he's doing better... h-he's been a bit.. mm.."

She couldn't quite find the word she wanted to use. He wasn't exactly himself, but he wasn't completely different either, as she'd witnessed.

Roux looked up at the motion from the corner of his eye. He looked surprised and afraid again, quickly tightning his wings against his back. He floated still a moment before moving closer to Rivener.

He was.. he didn't know what he was. It was all too new, strange and unfamiliar. He reached out and took Rivener's hand, mouth slightly open as though to try and form a question.

His eyes were confused and hopeful at once.

"Delicious yes want up." The words tumbled out, confused and mixed. He couldn't even summon forth the cold flicker of anger at his innability to speak.

Alex tilted her head with a curious expression at the name Beauregard, but decided to ask about him later. Someone narrated their life? Definitely best kept for a later discussion, if there was one. She absorbed the information about his little brother, a little surprised that the boy had to take care of his own grandmother. Alex had a sneaking suspicion that the boy had been more than able.

"Mm?" She smiled shyly, playing with Vyn-plushie's ribbon between her fingers. "I do live a bit away, but I'm unable to work in this weather. My studies are a bit hindered when the source of study is hibernating." She wasn't sure if she ever told Aphismet what she did; the day in the paint store seemed so far away, even though it felt like yesterday. "I'm staying with a friend for now, but I guess I'm driving her a little crazy, being cooped up in the apartment with her, her boyfriend and her boyfriend's best friend. She told me to go take a walk before I tore the place down." Alex crinkled her nose at the memory of so many people squished into a two bedroom apartment. It should have been enough room, but somehow, it simply was not.

The Gwee watched the red and black Raevan creep forward. He was going towards the white and blue one? Zoe figured the Raevan had to be brave or like the cold a whole lot. The tiny dragon nibbled on the edge of the candy in his paws, watching the proceedings with large eyes. Alex had let him watch a few movies with her. They were pretty boring, but this was reminding him a lot of those movies. Now everyone was either going to get into a fight or start crying. Lorenzo inched to the edge of the booth, deciding that real life was so much more interesting than those people in the box!

Zave had been caught a little off guard as the Raevan named Kalec came up to him and tried to start a conversation out of the blue. Before he responded however, a group of customers had come looking for treats and flowers. When things settled down, Zave waved at Kalec and said "My name is Zavier - Zave for short. How are you? Getting a little used to everything yet?" He looked really interested in finding out about the other, but unfortunately the crowd wasn't allowing for conversation.

"If you have refreshment requests, please feel free to come to this side too! I have fresh flowers and everything!" Zave called out to the crowd. Hopefully helping relieve Lazarus of so many customers. Still he seemed to be rather popular with the ladies.

Tsu was on the other end being a little bored by everything going on. There were few customers for his booth, and the green eyed monster was rearing it's ugly head. "Hmph... even Julian gets more customers. I'd be better off doing some other things." The doctor said with a grim look on his face. Standing up and stretching, he decided to leave his post for a bit. Not like anyone would miss him.

Pausing at the lucky pan at a whim, Tsu decided to try his luck once more.

27. Damn. No good. In his irritation, Tsu lit up another cigarette and grabbed some cookies and breath mints from the refreshment booth. He left some money, but still there should be refreshments for the volunteers, right? He justified to himself for stiffing when it came to tips.

Having satisfied his urges and needs, Tsu headed back to the booth a little more full of energy. "Is there anyone that wants to give me a kiss? Hell... even chat a little? Having less popularity than my little brother is a little upsetting." Tsu muttered aloud. Keeping a smile plastered to his face since it WAS for the labs. After all... how could his heart shirt have no charm whatsoever?

Vyn's leathery wings gave a quick flap in alarm when the bumbling Aphismet nearly ran her over. Thankfully, the rather agitated man didn't smack into her but merely ended up brushing past rather forcefully, knocking the flowers out of her hand. Unable to bear the sight of the sweet-smelling blossoms on the ground, Vyn quickly picked them up again. However, to her dismay, the Shadow Frei discovered that the flowers were beginning to look wilted.

What is wrong...? She touched one of the blooms, only to have a petal fall off at her touch. There is no water. Vyn's brows knotted together slightly in a frown. These flowers weren't....right. They were....disconnected, cut off from the earth.

It was with a disturbed frown that Vyn gently set the dying flowers on the table. The original freshness were misleading...she had been lied to. Seeing the state of the blossoms now, Vyn instinctively knew that they were not...natural. Flowers should be surrounded by green and moisture and earthiness and warmth, not....not this pink kind of wrapping that seemed to sap away their vitality.

Green....a flash of it caught her eye again. Tentatively moving out from the shadows a bit, she noticed a little green thing under Rivener's hand. It seemed to be offering a tiny morsel to the other Raevan, but Rivener wasn't paying much heed to it. Enthralled by the lively creature, Vyn leaned forward even more, her black-yellow eyes bright and rosy lips pursed together softly in curiousity. Since Rivener was now floating off somewhere, Vyn decided to come even closer, reaching out a slender finger to the small dragon to see how it would react.

"Thank you!" After Natsuki had given Lillian an idea on where to find him, she ran off quickly. 'Great! She knows who he is! What has that twerp been up to now?' Her mind screeched in horror as ideas developed on what he could have done.

Lil stopped in her run to catch her breath, reaching up and gripping her forehead in anger as she forgot to ask who this "Dr.Kyou" was. The young lady swore under her haggard breathing. That child was always getting her into messes like these. He was so annoying and rude to others what if he's made more enemies? Lillian rummaged through her purse and took out her wallet, fiddling with opening it to see how much money she had to pay someone. She would just give this Dr.Kyou the money for all the trouble Tyson most likely had caused. She had a few twenties and fifties with her to hand over if a twenty dollar bill wasn't enough.

As Lil wandered around, her eyes narrowed as she tried to spot the child. She wasn't really thinking though about all the colorful floating bodies around her, just the kid she was looking for.

'Where is he?! I dressed him in the most colorful clothes I could find, and even packed them on so he'd have trouble moving! How could he have gotten this far!?' She thought, her insides dropping at the sight of the bright orange pom pom behind a booth where a man stood looking pretty ticked.

'No!! Oh no no no no!' Her mind screamed as her legs sprang to life with the rest of her body heading straight for the booth.

Tyson stared up at Kyo and sighed heavily,"I'm sorry...I just didn't know what you were and thought you would hurt me if I just sat there. That's what things with those kind of tails do. I thoughted you'd hurted me." His speech had begun to grow worse as his nerves got the better of him. Tyson didn't have to fear for much longer, a hand suddenly reaching out from the side and tugging him roughly over to it's owner.

"I'm so so so so sorry, Sir. Please forgive him. Tyson you dolt! Why did you run off like that?! I was so worried!" Lillian shook with rage, gripping Tyson's head and making him bow it as she bowed hers to Kyou."I'm sorry that he has caused you any distress, I...umm...here!" She reached into her pocket where she had placed the money and handed it to him."If this will help in anyway to restore whatever he has broken or done. I'm still so sorry, I didn't mean for him to run off and into this. Just don't call the police or anything."

Tyson watched his sister hand the money to Kyou and sighed."Lillian...I didn't do much...I just--" Lillian looked down at Tyson, her rage clear to him,"Shush Ty, you've proven that you are not as responsible as I thought you were becoming. I owe this man something for all the trouble you have given him. Did you say sorry? Where's the five dollars I gave you? Give him that as well."

The child laughed sheepishly,"I...already..gave that to someone." He whispered looking down at the ground no wanting to meet his siblings eyes.
