Ranulf started to rub at the pup's belly as it rolled around. "he's so cute! do you think he'd let me pick him up?" he asked kouryou.

Janaff, a young mixed breed held captive by a human rummaged frantically through an old trunk in the attic of the home he was slave to. "gah, gotta hurry...there's only a few more minutes until Master Greil gets home...and I want to be outa here..." he said frantically to himself as he pulled out a green scarf and a a cloak to cover his golden brown wings. "there that should do it!" he exclaimed as he closed the trunk and opened the front door to the small house. He looked cautiously around for any sign of his master, then ran off towards the forest.

Moments later, a big muscular man and a slightly smaller more eerie looking blue haired man arrived back at the home. The man with the blue hair spoke in a sneering voice, "Let's hope Janaff didn't do anything stupid this time Master..." The other man grunted and shrugged, opening the door to the house. "JANAFF, REPORT TO ME AT ONCE!" he yelled into the house as the blue-haired man took off his cloak revealing the large black wings of a mixed breed. After a few moments, all they could hear was the chirping of a cricket under the floorboards. "Dang it, he must have escaped..." the human said. He, named Greil, then turned to the mixed breed. "Naesala! Go find Janaff and bring him back here...when you do, he'll pay for his escape..." Naesala, the crow mixed breed bowed and put his cloak back on. "It shall be done..."

Ace slowly walked through the town waiting for any signs to spring her guards that were hidden on someone and take them in for questioning, she was putting an order for all slaves to have to be branded, which means all mixed and animals would have to come in and be registered which gave her reason to inspect all slaves.

Janaff was now in the town where Ace was walking around. He still had his mixed breed traits hidden well, but was running fast and somewhat suspiciously. He ran around a corner almost bumping into Ace, but he just kept running towards the forest. if I can just make it to the forest, I can find a place to hide until Naesala gives up... he thought to himself.

Naesala was hot on Janaff's trail, but not within reach of him yet. Master Greil suddenly appeared right behind him. "he's a quick one...so I'll help you find him..." Greil said to the crow-mixed as they ran after the runaway slave.

Lethe grinned as well. "I don't know...maybe come up with a new way to taunt Feo upon his return..." she then blinked..."wait...he and Sunny have been gone a long time...I hope nothing happened..." she looked up to Will. "you don't think some humans didn't find them outside do you?" she asked, slightly worried.

Sunny blinked. "Like... like Arte?" she asks, blinking at his smile she crossing her eyes to look at his finger and realizing her nose was gone. She blinked and picked up her hand. "Holy.... s**t."

"Nah sunny's pretty good about not being seen, I'm pretty sure sunny can handle one or two humans.... hey Rai. I'm a human!"

Fay blinked. "Oh um rasberry ice tea?" she said quietly not used to be called miss.

She blinked and looked down. "Its never happend to me before.... I dont like this Feo... I don't like this at all, how do you walk on two legs?"

Will blinked. "Rai, I'm human, see look human ears." *he grabbed his ear lobes and held them out.

Fay blushed. "Please?" She asked smileing at kyo's polite responce.

"Eh see these light scars on my lips, their a bit more prominent in my other form, I don't think all the hair ever grew back from that time I was forced to bite down on a glass bottle by Alaster's left hand gal Ace. Makes me look a little more savage then I am." Her hand gently squeezed his in return.

"Mmm I think your the only one to think me so beautiful." She laughs lightly and squeezes his hand happily. "I'm glad you showed up... I haven't smiled this much is soo long."

"What castle?" Sunny asks sitting up a bit, her ears drooped a bit. She seemed very confused and very scared for a few moments before holding her arms up like a child to be picked up.

Fay blinked and looked at them as if they had asked her to strip. "Well um... Cheeseburger please?" She says after a few moments of thinking.

"Me cute and furry? Right..... sure Rai I'll go with that." He ruffles rai's hair and sits down next to he and lethe to eat a bowl of his own food.
